Sora: Master Yen Sid, I beat Dark inferno while pretending the floor was lava like you said, am I a master now? Yen Sid: I didn’t think you were actually going to do that, man that was a joke.
Not trying to spoil the fun, but it was said that the mastery is not about the skill and strength of a wielder, but resistance to darkness(and/or light) fluctations and the ability to learn the power of waking. KHUX wielders are an example. A lot of them is really strong like the Player and Ephemer, but they don't have the mark of mastery. Some of them have quite easily fallen to the darkness and became Darklings, which is yet another confirmation about the "resistance" playing a huge role.

It took me a while to realize what's so off about Kh3 compared to Kh2. It's the fluidity of the moves. In Kh2, the fluidity of the combos translate wonderfully from move to move, making for a seamless sequence of hits. In Kh3, every attack is super flashy and fluid for each individual attack, but not when individual attacks are connected with each other. In Kh2 it's hard to tell which attack in a combo required a controller input, while in Kh3 it's extremely easy to tell because of the delay between attacks.
