Sure hope the jack stands don’t slip off the wood blocks you made when you start pulling the trans.

Thanks for that. I try my best to do things safely. I intentionally only used 3 blocks as the 20 inches is about the minimum to maneuver the trans. The jack stands are not fully extended. I also shook like hell on all four corners of the truck once it was in the air. Perhaps 6x6 blocks under the tires? Always open to suggestions! 4 pole lift on my wish list - just need to convince the wife!!

The danger with the wood is if it splits. With all that weight on the jackstand the stand could act like a chisel/maul.@@edshandymantips4862
