Great choir and wonderful leaders. Having a lot of singers in Sacred Harp is like having a lot of horsepower in your car. You don't always need it, but man is it glorious when you open it up and let if fly. All love, respect and glory to god.
Their voices fill the room with passion. I know this almost 18 yr ago, but it sounds like today when you listen to them. I listen to sacred harp singers nearly every day.

This is inspired. I love how removing the extra measure propels the song and furthers its driving pulse. The quarter notes really create a force that builds and builds up to the chorus. Powerfully sung.

I am happy Humans are growing past the comfort of religion, however I hope people continue things such as this -not- for the sake of religion, but for the sake of community.
The "comfort of religion" is the worship of God. Many of us are not "growing past" it. It is not something to get past- it is a feeble human attempt to glorify the Holy God of all of creation.
