The man on the guitar is an absolute beast: Karan Katiyar. He's their main guy doing their mixing, editing, directing, etc. He put in ALL the work to set up their first European tour, and they got invited to two massive German open air metal festivals that same year - Dong Open Air, and Wacken Open Air. He did a fantastic two-part interview with Tank the Tech that I highly recommend, as well as their documentary "Raj Against the Machine," the title of that first tour. The lore runs deep.
See them live next time they do a tour! I've seen them twice and they are AMAZING live - so full of energy and they go all out for the full set. They're also amazingly generous with their time with fans. At the Baltimore show, they stood outside for over an hour (when they must have been exhausted) just so that every fan who wanted to say hi and get a picture could. They also do great things with different charities - check out the videos for "Jee Veery" and "Yaad." They are just genuinely lovely people
Aaj have to be next, stay safe and greetz from Germany.. And btw. this guy's are full, FULL independent, no label or any commercial shit behind them, that make them even more impressive....
Ladies and gentlemen, I do believe we are witnessing the birth of a new Bloodywood superfan! Welcome to our family, good sir. I linked a few songs for you last time and I'm going to do you one better this time. On your own time (it's probably too long for a TH-cam reaction), do yourself a favor and watch their documentary. It's 1.5 hours incredibly well-spent. You will come out of it loving these guys even more than you thought possible. You'll laugh, you'll (probably) cry and, by the end, you'll be incredibly inspired. Bloodywood - Raj Against The Machine (Documentary) - th-cam.com/video/HIvzfULOJ70/w-d-xo.html
This is going to be a cult favorite band rather than mainstream just because of the circumstances of the world, but all us who enjoy their music will probably still be listening in a couple decades from now.
This is exactly their energy on stage. We saw them in Reno last year, and they rock hard. The guitar player, Karan, is badass. Loved seeing how much they wowed you! 🤘🤘
As much trash talk the rest of the world says about us in their ignorance of our actuality, they can't deny our music, art, and food. If they take a break from racism, theirs a whole world out there. This dude is a king for taking the time and effort to just see another part of the human family.

This slaps hard live. A bunch of Americans in Dallas yelling Hindi. Helluva performance.

Do you recognize this girl with glasses? th-cam.com/users/shortsVl5BPtqEfts
She composed AMA-TE-RAS a few months later.
That instrument right at the beginning is a traditional Indian instrument called Tumbee. Do 'Aaj' next, Bloodywood's best till date.
