From my experience they don't build motels like this anymore and most of the old ones remaining are in pretty poor condition and are generally poorly managed and not really a great experience

Fun fact! A hotel has its doors on the interior, so you can only access your room through the lobby and hallways. A motel has its doors on the outside, typically allowing people to park right outside and enter their rooms without needing to enter a lobby or hallways!

It's nutty how much this looks like it could exist in some of the older neighborhoods in Las Vegas. The neighborhoods built in the 70s and 80s, as soon as the lattice windows and the exterior fence were being placed I was losing my mind. Prob doesn't help the case that you built this in the desert lol.

Kayla forgot one of the green blinds in the bottom right apartment and it was driving me insane!! lol Totally love the vibes of this place (especially the exterior! ✨✨) and would love to see a polished version!

I hope you don't mind a few suggestions, You gave me some ideas, there is a base game window with three in one that would have looked good on the sides and the back, and then there's the window from Dessert Lux kit which would have looked great in front next to the door, or you could have used a sliding door instead. And the roof---pink corrugated metal, with Urbany walls with lots of debug landscaping from Snowy Escape or Jungle Adventure. Then you could decorate the walls with items from Eco Living, either debug or build buy. You could also use the splash park items from Growing Together around the pool. As for the trash can, I always use the apartment trash chute from City Living--sure it's in debug, but it is free and you don't have to clean up trash. I would go on, but I would like to see if I can do this challenge.
I want a version of this with you doing it without time limit AND WITHOUT PACK RESTRICTIONS or budget restriction, I think your builds without restrictions are the best!
If you do a repeat, it would be cool to do the same hardware/appliances (like all the same permanent light fixtures, cabinets, sink/tub, etc.) all in the same swatches, but then decorate the units individually, the same way it is irl. Gives a challenge of 4 different color schemes with the same base color/setup.
love the build! you should totally work more on it! 30 min seems like a lot irl but its hella fast in the Sims haha, I would've been just as stressed lol, keep being awesome Kayla!

i’d love to see a redo of this build with no time limit, and actually on the first floor lol. (the whole terrain issue was because the building was built on the second floor and then lowered just barely into the ground, you probably realized this by the end but i found it funny) this is such a cute idea though, i’d love to see action lot of time spent on it!!

I love the style and want to give you another idea, this one would be great for del sol valley, Dingbat apartments. It's a specific style that originates in LA but has spread all over the sun belt (i.e. southwest + florida). The style is pretty car centric, originating out of a need for cheap housing in LA with parking, and is so ionic to LA that I'm pretty sure they're some of the debug background buildings.
I love this and would love to see you do another on a bigger scale without a time limit for sure. This looks like a Motel kind of, like that picture. I think in the For rent pack, you can set the limit to daily for tenants, not sure but if you can, you can do that and pretend it's a motel. You're so talented. Love it.
