Try the HDPE sleeves. They will give you more traction but will still break free and spin under hard acceleration. You can drift and ride straight and faster.
I'm just about done and ready to get the 212cc mounted.... My trike seems to be a little shorter than most. So I think I'll have to put the engine above the axle because I really don't want to place it directly behind it.... Question... Have you ever experienced the torque converter setup? I raced go-karts from 84-92 and I never liked the slow take off of the centrifugal clutch (back then it was the 13T horseman)
Cheapest best engine for these are predator 212 from harbor freight my friend you can use a coupon and get them for $100 . Amd they can be souped up pretty easily and fairly inexpensive
I swear the people that make these always just do donuts and don’t actually drift corners. No one TH-cam video I’ve found where someone can drive theses correctly.
@@SilverZeppI agree! I almost have mine completed. It started out as something I was going to 'simply build ' but I kept changing my mind and it's gotten a bit wild lol... I raced go-karts from 84 to 92 as a teen... So, I'm going to try and perfect the drift style of driving.
I like your parts choices and attention to detail. Probably the best budget trike on TH-cam. Great job man!
Man, It's cool to see the ole school 5hp instead of the ohv
Very Cool. I like it. I just got all the parts to start my build.
Cool build BeWimpy! Might have to attempt building one myself.

Try foot pegs, you will break your ankles on the front wheel!

Not planning to sell it.
@bewimpy3392 what tyres and rims did you use?
Please let me know
Where's the breaks?
I used the left lever on the handlebars to actuate the disc break that is on the rear axle.
