Oh no! I've heard that there are varieties that can be planted in the spring though I've never tried it. I wonder if they would work in a colder climate?
Glad you were able to get your garlic in! Sorry you were sick! I just planted mine a few days ago as well. I planted some random ones I got from our local farmers market as well as music and elephant garlic. I planted 175 cloves this year. I've had mediocre results for a couple years so hopefully I nail it this year. I'm going to interplant mine with lettuce, we will see how that works :)
Very helpful video. I've only planted garlic once in my 30+ years of gardening... May have to do it again next year 😁
