- Here is a long-distance hiking trail that smells like the sun: The GR® de Pays tour de Cerdagne. Nestled in the heart of the Catalan Pyrenees, this 4-day trek itinerary, passable most of the year, offers splendid panoramas over the high plain of Cerdagne, and a succession of discoveries along the route which make you discover follow the steps and give ample rhythm to the days.
The heritage, history and particularities of the region are widely highlighted (pretty villages, perched chapels, watchtowers, processes for collecting and using solar energy, etc.), and nature is not to be outdone: During this entire mountain trek, the walker is surrounded by peaks and will notably contemplate the Carlit, Cambre d'Aze and Serra del Cadi massifs.
