I didn’t know this so now I know what MLB players are going to throw because every time they are warming up they sometimes do those signs to there catchers
REALLY hoping my made up point the glove palm down towards the catcher and shake it back and forth is the actual knuckleball one. Never heard or I guess paid attention to what sign knuckball pitchers would give cause it's usually just the knuckle. Anywho time to watch this and see how wrong I was.

Thanks for helping get to be a better pitcher Dan

They don’t show there best pitches and in a real game, they don’t call the signs like that
Thank you so much.
Awesome informative vid thanks
it's funny my 10yr old bows when signaling his curve lol. And screams teach me when I throw him the knuckleball. Kids are fun.
Thank you for this video. I tried to explain this recently and failed miserably 😂
Glad I could help!
I played 4 years in high school and even as a pitcher I didn’t know these signs
yeah, thats why I put this video out. It sometimes gets overlooked and players dont learn it

yeah sounds like you had it about right
@@DanBlewett one of my few not dumb moments then. Truly a rare find.
What about splitter?
yeah I forgot that one! Hold the glove out, palm down, then flick downward
What about a splitter? I throw it and can’t figure out how to signal it😂
You forgot the good ol' FORKBALL
yeah i suppose i did. basically the curveball sign but with the palm starting down instead of up
What about a screwball
no one throws them
