Very cool sled, Tim was great driver as well as a designer/fabricator. The white JAS sticker on side was my father and I. We built the radiators for this sled as well as most of the F3 sleds.
this was the baddest formula III sled of all time!!!!!! they set cc limits after this showing of absolute power!!!! brought to you by yamaha and tim bender!!!
"Hot Tub" Jack Jaunbraul bought that sled from Bender and brought it to Alaska to race Outlaw class against a stacked class including the previous Eagle River Formula Champ Guy Useldingers Ski Doo sled bought by another Alaskan. Ice racing in Alaska back then was awesome.
sweeeeeettt!!!!!!!!that was the baddest formula111 sled ever raced... yamaha!! they had to put a cc limit after bender and yamaha annialated the competition with that sled!
Santa slayer.. kind of a silly comment saying that at sled built exclusive for oval racing isn't any good in powder or at jumping... its a little like saying a Formula 1 Car isn't any good for driving the kids to school. DUH.
i am, i got a 98 srx 700 with hauck clutch if u want to work out a trade and some cash or i got a couple bikes including a built blaster, and a quadracer if your interested or just give me a price whichever offer suits you best.where are you located
I was fortunate to see this sled run live with Tim at the wheel. IMHO Tim Bender was the greatest oval racer ever.

I used to watch Tim Bender rip around the Eganville oval as a kids,it was a amazing sled
i had a movie ..this sled was in it.. fastest thing out there ..back in 92'.. movies is snowmotion 2
smokey 2 stroke monster power! The original v max 4 project was (in japan) called Shogun. TZ 750 GP bike engine in a sled. Trick for its time!
Except for the crankshaft configuration, essentially true. Thx for bringing the TZ750 connection up!
I remember that sled running at Owensound. It was faster in the straights but the Twin Trackers were faster lap times.

anyone remember that skidoo twintrack? the guy in town has one with a 1200 cc srx yamaha in it. but they banned that sled so he needs a new one
BAD ASS YAMAHA
that sounds awsm! it's a 2 stroke right?
v-max 4 is 2 stroke

Hello, I am tim bender also..!
Are you really Tim Bender? If so i owned a sled that was yours, a 800cc V-max4..from Wyoming USA 🇺🇸 👋🤠
@gomer7771
Yep...
now thats a motor ahaha.
I had a 96 v-max and that pig wouldint go threw mutch more than a couple of feet of powder and it was far to heavy to throw around in the air
anyone interested to see this go back in the day, check out my vid!
it´s one brutal machine. but it´s useless in powdersnow and forget even try to jump with it.. but it´s a true classic
It was made for ice ovals only not bumps or snow. This was the the nascar of snowmobile racing simply awesome !
@@agfirecatable my buddy in sweden used it everywhere. Had to help him dig him out a couple of times.
@@santaslayer did he use this race sled or v max 4 I think this sled is owned by a guy in Illinois.
Vmax 4. And it was a bender. Fast as a mf.
