Those Ski-doo Racing sleds put a big smile across my face. I can smell from her and my heart beat 😁😎😁😎 since 1970 I'm a Ski-doo Fanatic.... Look Like you guys have those Rotax triples two Rotary Valves (Crank Shop )on Open Mod drag sled....
Awesome Awesome sleds. The sleds on the 4 place trailer made my pants tight lol, got a soft spot for that old school muscle. Currently have a 95 SS 670 that is too clean to ride (never thought I'd say that but I think it might mean I'm getting old) and a 97 mxz 670 (sled of the year back then I believe) that gets the most seat time. Killer sleds fella's, nice to see more guys that like the old school muscle. Safe riding guys, from Northern Lower Michigan. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
We had the same weather here in Pensacola FL. Today. I rode the bike 200 miles in the 77 degree breeze haha. Nice sleds. I watched the drag races in Soldotna once in July (2000). A sled won the race day beating out a hopped up TransAm. I hope to ride the bike up your way again this year. It will the 5th trip up there.
Just found your channel, I absolutely love all the vintage skidoo snow machines. My brothers and I raced in the 90's into early 2000's with an 1989 formula plus with full mod 617, 94 FZ 580 improver and 94 mach z improver. You have a vast collection and they are all in fantastic shape. That 94 Zee is mint, we used to do sanctioned races but a lot of grudge racing also. Please continue with your racing videos I will be an avid watcher. Thanks
Glad you liked the video we started transitioning to the 90’s sleds last year between my dad and I we have a lot of 70’s ski doo race sleds also. The next video will have some 70’s sleds in it
As a 35+ year Alaskan (Anchorage) who started riding as a teenager with a new 68 Polaris Colt, I appreciate y'alls videos. Having spent a lot of time in Fbx. while working for the railroad, I more than most appreciate the extreme cold you experience in riding. Even back in the 80's/90's, i used to run across a lot of folks from Fbx. that would come down to Cantwell/Broad Pass to ride. One constructive comment though, your track stands should have a plate on them to stop a stud from being thrown at high speed...and potentially seriously injuring someone nearby.
Glad you like the videos we’ve done a lot of riding down at cantwell we try to get a couple trips in a yr. And your right about the stands it’s something we are going to do this yr
I miss back in the day when we used to race wheelers all over the state. Fairbanks would come down and whip the valleys ass if we didn’t take them out and get them good and wasted first the night before. Sometimes they could even still whip us hung over. I miss riding and partying with the Fairbanks crew during the 80s and 90s. Those were the days.Brothers and grudge matches
That’s what we are trying to build with the drags, kenai is real big in the drags, matsu is ovals and we are vintage sleds. But obviously we are transitioning to newer stuff
An enclosed sled trailer works just fine. Luxury custom interior hoists up to the ceiling and the sleds go underneath. Pull the sleds out, drop the floor down And boom! Camping!
Racing season just ended here in Wisconsin, at least for my friends that run. Probably too cold but some drone footage of the races would be cool. Cold or not, a day on the sled is a great day!
Where I live everyone is anti studs. I don’t get it , man do they ever work with studs love it . Anyone who races sleds knows what it’s like with good traction you can feel the machine work , the clutches doing their thing it’s hard to explain . Set it and forget it not like us guys I got my clutch bolts worn out from changing setups for different conditions lolZ
My 2001 156 2 inch paddle RMK 800 stock mod pulled 87 in 1000 feet in Willow😉I have everything to build an 861 storm with 6 1/2 pounds of boost. The last one I did with no boost will pull the skis up at 120. I’ve seen 147 with no boost On water. If I ever get the storm together lol we should hook up for a day or so.You’re gonna wanna ride it man I promise you that. My goal it’s 159 in 1000 feet
You should bring what ever you have up on the weekend of March 12/13 for our big race. We will have drags also. Kenai boys should be coming up with there light tree/sensors and race trailer to run the drags
lovin the 93 red formula plus c is that the 521 or 583 or possibly the 617?? both 97 f 3s 600s lovin buddy of mine has an oval sled exactly like your red 94 plus and has 2 97 f 3s just lie yours and a 94 mach z just like your dads... makes alot of memories for me on working on them and ridding them :)
The 2 passes on the yellow sled was 98 and 100 in 660’ im hoping to get another 10-15 mph out of it. The black one hit 96. This was with a radar gun not the official sensors. My son orange sled hasn’t made a good pass yet working some kinks out of it
I had planned on it this year but didn’t work out, now you guys don’t have any ice. We have been mainly vintage closed coarse up here so we are trying to get the ovals to take off to run with the valley and drags to run with the kenai guys
I haven’t but I’m not real big into that old of sleds, I’m more into the mid to late 70’s and 90’s. We have our tired iron the weekend of March 13th if you’d like to come check it out maybe you will see it. Usually we have a pretty big turnout
Behind Greer at the fairbanks racing lions gravel pit, tomorrow we will be out there test n tune/ practice race. The big race is March 12-13, which will be big
Don’t know we’re not set up with all the equipment yet. Hopefully for our big race in March the kenai boys are bringing there trailer with all the equipment

It’s a fast 870 reed valve motor 583 cylinders my right leg of my snow pants always has an awesome smell to it (race fuel/klotz)
Holy moly, some classics there, I had a 93plus x , a Mach Z , a 98 MXZ 670 and a twin piped 670SS , right now have a freeride and an old 99 670ho MXZ.
That’s a great time right there.
ABSOLUTELY AWESOME!!! Great video! 98 mph! WOW!!! 📕
Dman those are some nasty sleds!! Love the video man!
Dang Bud. That's a badass video.. 😎🤙y'all got some great looking sleds.
Nice sleds. My Dad and I were serious competition back in the 80-90s Suzuki and Rotax power 340- Open fuel

You are a awesome family!! I wish I could rip sleds with my family
Looks like you got a decent amount of snow. Keep warm and have fun!
Love all the ski doos
Too funny I was in Fairbanks selling one of my sleds last month and picked up an x3. I’m glad I stumbled across the channel.
Gonna set up a booth at those races and sell bunny boots😂😂😂
Boys and their toys, not jealous much 👍
Awesome video buddy!! I’d definitely love to see more videos for sure!!!
There will be a couple more this spring
It’s 9 deg in ny today and I can’t believe my ancestors didn’t jump ship all those years ago when they got to the Caribbean
NASCAR on ice. Who doesn’t like the sound of some horses blasting in the cold air of Alaska.

I wonder if I can get a ringtone of a triple piped 2 stroke, I might actually look forward to people calling me.
That’s funny, a couple yrs ago I tried to make a ring tone of my little 295 triple I couldn’t figure it out though
So cool !
Big difference from the racing back in 1968 through 1972. The last one was a 640 TNT. Lot of memories running them in the Fairbanks area.
Same years i raced out of anchorage .Ran b stock and mod 2
Are you guys still in alaska? Do you happen to know where any of those old race sleds ended up?
@@diyalaskanlifestyle No, I live in Oregon now. The last time I was in Fairbanks was in 1999. I have a niece living up there.
living my dream
Sad day when the sled's of the 90's are considered to be vintage, love anything two stroke, especially my triple triple 800's
You'll need a clubhouse with a warm fire, coffee, and doughnuts!
We were just talking about this last night at our meeting
For our big event we bring a huge tent out on the gravel pit and it has heat
