@@loucostabile I think he meant, 'slow down, don't RUN from shot to shot'. Pause your recording, compose, then hit record. Pan, dolly, zoom much slower. Your video is almost 30 minutes long, don't cram so much into it. Don't make people "drink from the fire hose"!
What I like about this layout is the wide open space. Tracks run like real world. Many models are very understandably overloaded with track, which has its perks too, but this is refreshingly natural. The trains can roam distance - like they are supposed to!

I think this is better than the notable vwonderland in Germany. This has a very natural feel. Not over crowded scenes and very well done forestry work. Would be honored to be a part of their club. Layouts like this are underated works of art!!! Seriously!!!! If train layouts were judged by art judges they would have a hard time picking a winner(execpt this layout of course!). :) Actually train layouts should be an art contest catagory! It's amazing!!

the central station is THE MOST GORGEOUS PART of this layout and you need for us to enjoy this too quickly done vid to SPEND MUCH MUCH MORE TIME ON THE MODEL!

I saw this one in person a few years ago - truly AMAZING!! One thing about that incredible station building - they achieved that stone facade look, and built the rest of it for that matter, out of a material that I never suspected at first glance, a material that makes one say "WOW, I can really do this by myself!". That material is common, everyday Lego blocks. :-)

Great video quality. I know it's not easy to shoot a layout because there is so much to see.I just with your pans and tilts would have been slower so we could really appreciate everything. But I still give you an A. Thanks for sharing. I'm sharing now with some train buddies of mine who may not have seen it.
Hi Roger Beckmann, Thank you for the "A". TH-cam allows "Channel Partners" a 1/2 hour only, so you have to move slow enough to capture the action, and fast enough to get it all in. Hope that helps you understand the pace. Lou P.S. Sometimes I do 2 videos, an Extended Cut "1" and an "Extended Cut "2", however did not have time for that this day.

Amazing layout 🤪usualy I find that large club layouts are just ´full of tracks and trains’ but in this case a good mix between trains and landscape was made. The great station is wonderful and there is a lot of details on this layout. Great job 👍 This layout is a Must 😎

I really love this and words can hardly describe how amazing it all is. I didn't notice the camera work being poor but my only negative was that I couldn't hear the guys talking because of the lovely noise of the trains which I think is comical and rather cute. I still have my train sets from being a child but I'm into Lego trains and Lego city which is also brilliant. If I listen in the headphones, I might be able to hear what is being said lol!. Not sure about the dislikes as it's just so excellent to see and I especially love the water/stream along with the rest of it, many thanks!. Sometimes, some people are just jealous and don't know what to do for badness.

The layout is about 50 X 70 in the basement of a mall off of 27th & Morgan in Milwaukee, not far from St. Luke's Hospital and I-894. When I was last there, they were talking opening another room farther back for N scale. I don't know if anything ever came of that. The bridge at 9:16 in, that was on the Walthers HO catalog cover back around 2000.

Love the attention to detail here. Would be cool to see a video of the layout from a train's perspective. I see that they are working on a night mode which would be fun to see. I think you proably should hsve broken it up into 2 videos so you wouldn't have to be hurried to fit it under 30 minutes. But it's all good!

Finally Milwaukee freight on one these big layouts! Hard to find, even here in MN. The Duluth museum basically had nothing Milwaukee for the most part. The Milw ran right by my apt as a kid to the St Paul Ford plant.

0:32 that’s a real building in real life and is in my state. It used to be a real train station, it was built in 1929 and then closed as a train station years after it was built (I don’t know when it was closed as a train station) and then it reopened as the Durham museum in Omaha Nebraska.

Layouts like this are underated works of art!!! Seriously!!!! If train layouts were judged by art judges they would have a hard time picking a winner(execpt this layout of course!). :) Actually train layouts should be an art contest catagory! It's amazing!!

I thoroughly enjoyed this layout! The level of detail is super! I love the trains and this has literally all the bells and whistles, which I love too! I love all the signs, it's even got plates on cars, just lots of fun! Truly a magical walkabout through this little world. Beautifully done layout and vid tour! Thank you!

A few times I've done a 2 part video, however did not have that time on this layout. I saw this one in person a few years ago - truly AMAZING!!
One thing about that incredible station building - they achieved that stone facade look, and built the rest of it for that matter, out of a material that I never suspected at first glance, a material that makes one say "WOW, I can really do this by myself!".
That material is common, everyday Lego blocks.

Great video quality. I know it's not easy to shoot a layout because there is so much to see.I just with your pans and tilts would have been slower so we could really appreciate everything. But I still give you an A. Thanks for sharing. I'm sharing now with some train buddies of mine who may not have seen it.
Hi Roger Beckmann, Thank you for the "A". TH-cam allows "Channel Partners" a 1/2 hour only, so you have to move slow enough to capture the action, and fast enough to get it all in. Hope that helps you understand the pace. Lou P.S. Sometimes I do 2 videos, an Extended Cut "1" and an "Extended Cut "2", however did not have time for that this day.

I really love this and words can hardly describe how amazing it all is. I didn't notice the camera work being poor but my only negative was that I couldn't hear the guys talking because of the lovely noise of the trains which I think is comical and rather cute. I still have my train sets from being a child but I'm into Lego trains and Lego city which is also brilliant. If I listen in the headphones, I might be able to hear what is being said lol!. Not sure about the dislikes as it's just so excellent to see and I especially love the water/stream along with the rest of it, many thanks!. Sometimes, some people are just jealous and don't know what to do for badness.

The layout is about 50 X 70 in the basement of a mall off of 27th & Morgan in Milwaukee, not far from St. Luke's Hospital and I-894. When I was last there, they were talking opening another room farther back for N scale. I don't know if anything ever came of that.
The bridge at 9:16 in, that was on the Walthers HO catalog cover back around 2000.

Love the attention to detail here. Would be cool to see a video of the layout from a train's perspective. I see that they are working on a night mode which would be fun to see. I think you proably should hsve broken it up into 2 videos so you wouldn't have to be hurried to fit it under 30 minutes. But it's all good!

Finally Milwaukee freight on one these big layouts! Hard to find, even here in MN. The Duluth museum basically had nothing Milwaukee for the most part. The Milw ran right by my apt as a kid to the St Paul Ford plant.

0:32 that’s a real building in real life and is in my state. It used to be a real train station, it was built in 1929 and then closed as a train station years after it was built (I don’t know when it was closed as a train station) and then it reopened as the Durham museum in Omaha Nebraska.
