Hey, enjoy your new car! I had the 2010 TTS (272hp) and the ONLY reason I gave it a year ago was the fuel consumption. In reality, TFSI engines consume more than 3 times the official numbers. Especially after 1 year of ownership. Besides that, TTS is an amazing car :)
Really enjoyed the review. I have been contacted by Audi as my contract has a year left on a 2014 A3. I love the new TT, Audi website shows they are currently offering a £5000 dealer contribution on most TT's. This make the entry point of the fwd 1.8, just over 22k. However as usual with Audi, the options are endless and very expensive, for example the sat nav tech pack is £1700. I can live without that as Waze is free and brilliant. Keep the reviews coming.
this is a great review, I can see by the comments you have taken harsh critique from some, this will please them I have a tt diesel fastest thing ive ever driven, I can't dare to know how quick your beast is or was in real driving terms, not numbers, ive burnt VW GTIs from the lights on occasion, but im old and would rather let them go mostly
hi mate, enjoy your ride. i have a mk1 audi tt quattro which is upgraded to 380 bhp ,with no problems at all since 2003. im gonna get the same car as your only in a different colour. hope you enjoy the car my friend, best regards from Greece!
Nice one thanks - a chance to compare my mark 2 with the mark 3 (AC/DC - decent taste in music too) Re: design, most attention in reviews focuses on the front but I really like how the side profile has evolved.
+Will Campbell - No. I just had a run back from Cheshire to Leicestershire taking in a mix of A roads inc the A50 and it returned 32mpg which i think is very acceptable!
For a Mk3 TT, it looks almost exactly like the model 2 (I own the 2011 model 2) whereas there's a huge difference between the modern TT's and the Mk1. For an Mk3, I would've liked a lot more uniqueness to the chassis for me to even consider buying one and a little bit more horsepower and torque. I think I'll stick with the Mk2 TT until the Mk4 or 5 comes out. Anyways, the Mk2 is still a fantastic sports car.
enjoyed your review but i think its better value to go for the 20" wheels and sacrifice the red calipers, £350 for red calipers has to be the biggest rip off even by audi standards. Ive ordered mine with the 20s cause they transform the looks and i didnt notice any detriment to the ride quality.
That doesn't look like a 40k plus car in terms of finishing quality, the rear seats and body kit are a massive let down. I think I'd be complaining to Audi.
If I were to fork out £40k for a car, I would expect tyres of my choice rather than accept factory fitted ones from Audi. For me, it's potentially a deal breaker.
I actually prefer your stock wheels over my 20's. I prefer the shiny black grille over the cheap looking gray plastic with chrome highlights. Who ever designed the cup holder needs a brain transplant. Over all I really like my TTS even though it has its flaws.
+Carlo Salt mm i think this new model looks more expensive sort of, more luxury, but i think my mkII tts looks cooler tbh ;) in the front at least. I love the rear on this one tho
You should spend some of your hard earned cash from new on paving your driveway for the poor girl. No one was going to expect your parents bought it for you either although your hair gel does make you look 18. Sorry I just really had to fuckin say that. Video is now at 1:19 looking forward to the rest!
You’ve got to love the posts from the jealous young folk driving around in their pimped up Vauxhall’s corsa’s! Great review Spence! What a great great car.

Cheers. Agree re nav cost - Audi taking the rip imo..

Hello spence,You thought of getting a map on the TTs
looks beautiful
Great review, but does it come with fly spray? Looking forward to more videos when you are ready.
+sjb2015 Bleeding should - A real fly attractant..
sorry thats porsche!
how did you wire in your Blackvue. On my Mk2 I uses the cigarette lighter at the front of the console, but the Mk3 there is only USB sockets.
+siphonsnob Hard wired by an vehicle electrician pal. impeccable job.
Thanks for video Spence
+spence22, What average mpg are you getting? Can you ever achieve its 40.9mpg driving like a nun?
+Will Campbell - No. I just had a run back from Cheshire to Leicestershire taking in a mix of A roads inc the A50 and it returned 32mpg which i think is very acceptable!

+Justin Waters there is nothing similar except the stoplights
beautiful car
if this car was stretched out a little more like an a5/s5, it'll look A LOT better

Agreed! The Audi price point for red paint is taking the 'P'.
Man, the flies indicate that you must live near a swamp.
can u get two tall people in the back?
No
Awesome!
Are they turbo?
+Waldo Navarro Yep. 2.0T

+Brock Landers I'm not sure whether any mainstream manufacturers offer this, regardless of price..

My Audi TTS mk2 can launch 0-60mph in 4.9/5.2 with S TRONIC
I think they no longer have an iconic look. From the front it looks like the same as a new A3
Looks nothing like an A3 from the front but I guess everyone's entitled to their opinion..

+Conor Hache lol!
Love old farts chasing youth through sports car, clothes and so on. Old stays old and older no matter what!
Indeed!
who cares lol, live your life, opinions are like buttholes, everyone has one

It must be a piece of sh*t, judging by all the flies attracted to it.
+thxiv Yep, must be ;-))
