I went to his two shows in London the past two nights & he was an absolute dream. We lined up for hours & I ended up catching him on night II before he went inside to talk for a little bit & take some photos. He was rushed, but still so sincere, kind and unimaginably gorgeous. We all barreled in and I got second row the first night & front row center the second night. It was one of the best days for me. I go to a lot of concerts, but there is something special about a Brandon / Killers show. I went to both shows alone & left with about 5 new friends. Sincere friends. He dedicated this song to his wife the first night & ended the second night with it. I love it so much more after seeing him live. If you get the chance to ever see him perform, do it! He's phenomenal. And if you have the time, be creepy like me & you can meet him :)

So you know, all of those tracks are great. Dreams Come True and The Way It's Always Been may be the weaker tracks on the album, but even they are solid. Lonely Town, I can tell, will be one of my favorites with its infectious poppy (yet creepy lyrics) chorus, epic horns, and excellent synths. Untangled Love was harder to hear, but I can tell it will be jammable, and it's a pretty fast paced song. It KIND OF reminds me of The Rising Tide, except better.

The reason i love the lyrics so much is because they ring true.. and I think most people long to hear the words and see their meaning to know they are loved no matter the trials or storms. "Everybody has a combination if you put in the time " Sometimes it takes time to get to know someone and only a select few ever get access to the combination to unlock the heart ..
