Good morning dave and patty, nice little tour, i like that down by the river, why wont they let you camp by the river?
When Tammy and I spoke with the sheriffs deputy, she gave us a map and said there was some dispersed camping along the road - she said they’d been having problems with people camping in areas where it wasn’t allowed or staying too long etc. also it could be dangerous to camp next to the river due to possible flash floods.
Hello Dave and Patty! Love your AZ camping videos! I live near Anthem. I don't have a camper. Only my sedan. Can you suggest any paid campsites in Flagstaff or Payson with paved roads, and bathrooms during the summer months? I'm wanting to get out of the heat for about a week every month June through September. I need paved roads and a bathroom. Thank you!

Pine Grove near Flagstaff is one - Aspen near Woods Canyon lake is another near Payson - use the reservation website to book a spot ahead of time.
