We're looking at a 1963 Chevrolet Chevy Corvette Stingray Split Window Coupe in Daytona Blue Paint. The engine 327 (cubic inch) CI and 250 (horse power) HP.

Lou, the wheel covers in 1963 were very unique. Each was made from 17 different parts! Chevy changed that to a one piece stamped unit in '64 to save a bunch of money...

Totally cool vet, gorgeous from every view... fave tho is straight on from the front, awesome looking! Pretty pretty deep inky blue, love it. Very neat door locks inside, I've not seen b4. I .not big on Corvettes Lou but the split window one was always unique to me compared to the others. 1963 was a great year for Corvette I Was five years old and the split window model is alway my fan favorite even though I .not a Corvette fan but this is nice I like the dark blue better that black for sure.

When These first Came Out,There Were Stories Of Many Complaints From CCA Members About Visibility Issues,Because of Strip in Middle of Rear Window.Might Be the Reason,it Was A 1 Year Only Window, W/ the Strip.Now,Because it Was A 1 Year Only,It Makes it A More Desired Year ,To Some !!! Who'd a Thought?If I Was Looking to Buy a C2,Would Prefer A 64- 67, Improved Suspensions & Sound Insulation & Increase in the SB H.p.#' s & Wheel Choices.

Once had a Split Window. With a properly adjusted rear-view mirror, no problem seeing out back
Yeah, he interrupted him just at the point as he was telling the horsepower of the 327, which was very important. If you're going to interrupt, don't do it at a critical time when important information is being given!

It was D.O.T. bullshit, it was deemed unsafe. And for the record old guys have always been the ones who could afford a 'vette. They actually cut out the cross member for visibility purposes, making the split window extra rare and desirable. Just for the record I prefer midnight blue.
Midnight Blue is a good color.
those two passenger compartment vent looking thingies on the door.. when you were doing your basic once over, i looked at the door gap for an accordion seal for air flow. then, i think, cosmetic flourish. Bill finishes up here with, "Lou, one last thing, you see, this one here is the door lock- only year for this type- and this other one: cosmetic flourish! what a punishing lifestyle, coordinating the distribution of classic corvettes. rough. wow.
