Thanks for doing this song. I joined the Army the day after I turned 18. I signed up for four years but stayed for 28. I spent 13 years overseas with four combat tours under my belt. My wife is an eight-year Army veteran too. Now our kids are carrying on the tradition we started.

I appreciate all the vets who served honorably before me, and the brothers and sisters who served honorably but didn’t get the chance to go home. Without the inspiration I got from you guys and gals and my own military family I probably wouldn’t be the man I am now.
