I used a pair of locking forceps to grip the connectors and pull them off the circuit board. They are skinny enough to get around the other connectors without damaging anything. Something like this: amzn.to/3vgBmUr Hope that helps!!
@@kintsugimoto Thanks! And where in the install process did you connect the wires? It seems like once the fairing brackets is secure, there won’t be much room to manipulate the wiring… (I just got an eBay S fairing with gauges for my R100/7. Your video is very helpful!)
@@CasanoNymous I haven't had a chance to paint the fairing yet, so the lights are still disconnected. There isn't much space so I use a pair of locking forcepts like this: amzn.to/4aOC7TX It makes plugging in the wires much easier. And I plug the wires in last. So feed them through the stems, then into the light housing. Then plug in the wires and screw the lens to the housing. Hope that helps!! Good Luck!!
I am Japanese. I'm riding an R90S.
I was having trouble removing the fairing. It was very helpful. thank you.
Thank you for the nice comment. I'm glad the video was able to help you :) And thank you for watching my videos!!
Just what I needed to know on how to install one of these fairings. Thanks!
Glad it helped :) Thanks for watching and commenting!!
How do you go about disconnecting/reconnecting the instrument wires (ammeter/clock) without damaging the harness?
