    It's been quite a while since I made a House of the Dead video and here we are! With the House of the Dead Remake released two years ago and the 2nd Remake on the way, I wanted to share my personal list on missing features from the original game that I wish were included in the House of the Dead Remake.     I could live with the lack of these features if MegaPixel just polished the rest of game and fixed the bugs. Enemies shouldn't survive headless. Enemies shouldn't be able to attack you off-screen. The PC version should have light gun support as an option, without the need of mods. The list goes on. But seems like that ship has sailed, as easy as some of those problems might be to fix, which is infuriating.
    I remember when we created a feedback spreadsheet for the developers. I thought that would be great to help improve the game, like Panzer Dragoon: Remake, but it felt like the spreadsheet was forgotten as quickly as it was created. A majority of the issues raised in it were never addressed. The game can be modded, as it's Unity, so theoretically fans could patch the game themselves, but the developers should've delivered a quality product and supported the game more post-launch to begin with.

    I'm a fan of G's design in the remake. But my favorite G appearance was III, loved the older G. 😂😅

    I think the game did everything right. It just like you said, it missed some modes. A randomizer/roguelike mode would do wonders to a game like this.

    Your videos have continually gotten better and better, and I think this was your best yet--the editing is well done and you're finding your voice. Great points, especially on the typing aspect. While I really love tHotD2 and I was looking forward to tHotD Remake, there are are few things that keep me from purchasing it. I think having other playable characters as you mentioned, along with having a blood color option (the remake is just too gory for my liking), would help a lot.

    I think the reason why the cowboy was removed is because of the other ports, sure the switch makes sense but for the rest like ps4 and xbox and pc it will be hard to do so, i mean sure they could just make the second gun with the right analog sticks for ps4 and xbox but what about the mouse on the pc? There is only one and its obivous that there wont be 2 mouse worjing togheter, even if there is one it will be very specifc and very odd

    I was massively disappointed with HotD: Remake. The fact that they promised cowboy mode and then just cancelled it silently, the lack of legacy music, the botched gameplay, the plagiarized and poorly translated text, and just an aura of cheapness that I'm still shocked SEGA was even remotely okay with. I hope that whatever comes next for this series is of a much better quality than what Forever Entertainment shoved out the door.
