- MEGHAN Markle’s new Netflix has been blasted as “desperate” by royal experts.
The Duchess of Sussex will reportedly soon launch a new series on "cooking, gardening and friendship".
She and Harry reportedly have two untitled non-fiction projects in production.
The shows form part of the "creative partnership" Archewell Productions signed with the streaming giant in 2020.
The first series will focus on Meghan and explore "the joys of cooking, gardening, entertaining, and friendship", according to Deadline.
But the idea has been blasted by royal biographer Ingrid Seward.
Speaking to royal editor Matt Wilkinson on The Sun’s new show, Royal Exclusive, she said: “It’s a bit desperate. I think it is wrong to criticise it before we see it.
“I am more skeptical about Meghan because I don’t know she knows anything about gardening.
As for her talking about friendship that does make me feel a bit skeptical. She’s really known for losing friends rather than gaining friends.
“To hear her talking about friendships I think that might go down a little strangely.”
The show is being produced by Sony Pictures Television's The Intellectual Property Corporation.
The Duchess, 42, will executive produce alongside Archewell's head of non-fiction Chanel Pysnik.

Yes, 2 horses have died directly after he rode the pregnant mare. He was told not to ride her, but did anyway. The foal died also. He is also know for spurring horses until they bleed, which is unacceptable.

That was actually during their first tour which was to Australia . Her nose was out of joint because she made sure that Jessica Mulroney was part of their entourage. The two of them wanted to make a holiday out of the tour. There were huge arguments to get her to do her royal duties.

Most people probably could not care less about polo. It is usually seen as an elitist sport and not for the working man and women. As for MM’s proposed show on cooking and gardening, again most people would prefer renowned chefs and gardeners not a rank amateur. As for friendship advice both of them need to actually get and keep friends not lecture others on the subject. I WILL NOT BE TUNING IN and am considering cancelling my subscription to Netflix if this is what their future shows are going to look like.
