I liked his reaction after he blew the horn and got out the truck. He knows his wife will raise all types of hell for doing that after she said don’t do it but his laugh says it worth it lol.
I have a blue 85 standard hood 359 I run daily. Real similar story, except I can't invest quite as much into makin a show quality rig as I'd like too, it has to work for it's dinner. But really enjoy watching your progress from North Carolina USA.
I have been watching since day 1,not easy to do everything by yourself little by little 👍👍👍,I live in the U.S but my cousin watch from Santa Clara,Cuba
From Creston, Iowa. My daughter and I never miss an episode. She’ll be two tomorrow, and she enjoys her trucks. We love all the videos. Can’t wait for more.
Good ol' Creston, IA ... used to deliver to the Phillips Flooring business there on the west end of town ... and sometimes grab some pizza at Caseys !! Love these videos also !!
Ernok's Video repository and stuff that’s crazy. I figured I was the only one for miles that watched. Good to know I’m not the only one with good taste.
All the way from Twee Riviere, Eastern Cape province, South Africa. I did a harvesting season in US, I drove a 359 Pete on the farm and a Kenworth, loved those trucks ever since!
I had a five horn Leslie chime for almost twenty years, I had them on several different trucks in that time, I was an owner operator. I had a custom bracket built for them, I had to punch holes in the frame aft of the sleeper on all of the trucks they were on, they were a lot heavier than the horns you have. The bracket installed from the inside of the frame and pointed the horns at the ground. Don't mount them in a tight place.
Started watching Twinsticks when I lived in the UK now live in Alberta , I managed to the green cab over in the flesh looked awesome on your video even better in the flesh , I drive a Peterbilt my self now on OTR
My name is Rodney been watching your channel now for 2 yrs .I live in Washington state. In the U.S. from a small town called Shelton WA. Mason co. I think the things you do to those old trucks is awesome. Putting an old school piece of history back on the road again. Thank you for taking the time out of your busy day to share with us the love of your craft.
Watch every new video you put up . Being a driver myself for the last 30+ years . You have given me the bug to restore one of my favourite old trucks . I live in Horsham in Victoria , Australia . Little by Little is looking and sounding sweet!!! Love the horns. Have a set on my 379 and absolutely love them. Can’t wait for the next update! Long Island NY
When I put air horns on my Pete, I just hooked em up through the trailer brake (trolley valve) lever on the steering column. Yep aim them down so they rattle the pavement under ya! They didn't have no fancy chrome valve like that back in my time. Lol. You should have my address from the sticker email I gave ya. Edit: drill a small hole at the end of the hood crack so it won't continue on.
Old retired trucker from Illinois, now living in Lampang, Thailand! Just finished watching all 55 videos, and I am impressed at how well you have brought this old girl back to life! Great Job! Looking forward to the KW next! Keep on Trucking! "Guardrail"

Also, I love model cars, and here on youtube there is a "group build" for semi truck kits going on at the moment, and the truck i'm building is a fixer-upper pete 359, inspired by you. So thanks for the entertainment, and keep on truckin'.
Kirkland WA. (Home of the first Costco). Have two toy trucks. ‘85 359 Pete day cab (Tonka Yellow) and ‘58 351 Pete (Rat Rod lowered). Both 3406B engines. Same train horn on 359 Pete but only used once. Afraid it might cause road rage with someone Brake checking me. Enjoy your two year adventure. I waited till the kids were out of the house before I became a wanna be trucker. My first truck was a 1986 359 day cab with 400 BC3. Lowered it and drove it to work every day for a few years and then buddy relieved me of it. Turned around and bought one ‘85 Pete tall rubber that was pretty much maintained all it life so I can take more time driving and less time tinkering on it. I can live vicariously through you now. I am 59 and almost a grandpa next month so I will have a little one in my sandbox soon to play with my yellow tonka truck.
