Thank you for being honest in your perspective with my question. That does suck but hey, it's not the end of world! :) I still believe there are ways to grow from $500 to 1K then from onward there! Here's a personal quote of mine, "If there is a will, there is a way! " keep those videos coming!

Nice advice but sometimes you have to risk something. $500 is not a lot of money so you can risk. I had an excellent experience in the past when I started just following other professionals traders. I made $1,500 with $200 investment in options out of the money. But that depends of what kind of person you are. Sometimes people don’t want to loose but that is the part of the game.
Luis, YES: It IS possible to make money with "out of the money" options. But as you can see, the chances are very low. In my opinion, trading out of the money options is like playing the lottery: The chances of winning are slim, but IF everything goes right, you can multiple your money. I just don't think that you can do this CONSISTENTLY, in the same way as you can not win the lottery consistently. Making sense? :-)
@@rockwelltradingservices Would you say this is the case for everyone? For example: I am an American living in Bolivia. The minimum wage where I live is $300, but I make $900 thanks to being employed by an American company and my monthly expenses round out to $450. So if I can invest $400 of my savings on a few under 5 dollar stocks and double my investment, I would have made some good money for where I live (1usd=6.89bob)
Can buy a debit bull call spread with $1 spread. This will cost less than $100 per trade.
With $500 you can do the wheel and daily put credit spreads on SPY that are 70% win or more
Is not possible to sell any option with 500$
@@seansean7653 the company shares would have to be worth at most a dollar most likely you wouldn’t make a substantial profit though
Thank you for your honest opinion. I’m right now buying good stocks (Apple, Tesla, Google etc) first till I understand more about options. Will save up some money to try options when the right time comes. Poor man here as well.

Great video Marcus! I agree with the options part but the trading part starting with $500 can work. I tried paper trading but it just didn't feel right. I've learned to swing trade with a 40% win rate. My biggest challenge, given I choose trades with at least a 3:1 profit ratio, are finding support areas where I can avoid getting stopped out. The other thing that's worked and was my achilles heel in the beginning was patience. I was getting in and out of trades too much and not allowing the trade to play out. I started with 1k and have managed to not blow up my account like most, yet I haven't doubled my account yet. I'm getting there.
Thanks for sharing. You are doing it right: you are NOT trying to double and triple and account overnight. Because THAT will cause your account to blow up. Slow and stead wins the race: "SRC Profits". Great job!
what about brokerages that allow you to trade fractional shares?
I don't trade fractional shares since THIS doesn't allow me to sell options against it. To me, it doesn't make sense.
Hi, this was good because I am always ask "How much to start trading options?" My answer is minimum 2000 because, like you said, you don't want to trade all in one option with $500. The $2000 makes about 4 trades at $500 each because the law of probability; 1 trade complete lost, 1 trade 2x and the remaining 2 hold the middle. Currently, a friend started with $3000 and quickly went to $1500, then the account turned around and now is breakeven. The errors help solidify lessons and staying to a trading plan turned it around.

Yep , finally got this right .. chucked 1k worth of 5 blue chip stocks since start of September to test the water, so far it hasn't been moving in the highs for 2 weeks , for my 2c worth i believe it will go up soon
Great video, Marcus. But you didn't say about another possibility to start with 500$. Its SP500 E-micro and Gold E-micro futures contracts. Its only 1/10 margin required of regular contracts but if you have a reliable trading system which gives you 100% ROI you can use for example your money management technic (in your e-book) and grow 10x your account... In theory :)))
Yes, you are 100% right: Micro Futures are a possibility. Just keep in mind that futures contracts are highly leveraged. And leverage is a double-edged sword: It can work in your favor if you know what you're doing, but it can also destroy an account very quickly.
I think 500 can go far in forex. Then from at least +2000 Diverge into stock

@@captzilla7673 @Adrian Manzilla Bitcoin is a good start. Its at the top of the chart now and has great value that continues to increase. You can also consider Etherum too. I've invested much in both of these myself and will continue to do so...👍🏻 goodluck on your trading journey. Always reached out to an expert to avert loses that most beginners experience

What kind of software was that you showed that predicted profitability of option trades?
That's my trading platform: Trader Workstation from Interactive Brokers. Pretty much every trading platform shows this: ThinkOrSwim, Robinhood, Schwab, etc.
tnX Markus, just one question you seems dont like FX very much but in the FX case people get leverage unlike Stocks so for exam 500X100= 50k virtually so why still thats not an good option for trading?

In few years to come people will be kicking themselves in regret if they miss the opportunity to buy and invest in cryptocurrency. is it atleast good for learning, as with paper trading I do not feel encouraged to sit on a chair regularly
