    Is that the John Wilson who was once editor of Trout & Salmon magazine.? Say hi from Ron Burgin if it is. Many years ago.

    I feel like these fish have been caught and released so many times they already know what's going to happen when they eat a hook so they don't even care anymore

    if you go to palmtree lagoon thialand then you can land them yourself but when it comes to 150lb+ someone else is always going to land it no problem with that at all rather someone done it then struggle with it

    This looks amazing and all but the man made lakes look way too small and it strikes me as cheating a little, like fishing for Goldfish in granny's pond, bound to get a bite

      Justin Stuart agree with you on that, considering how heavily stocked it is.

      It's not as easy as you might assume. Gets fished 365 days a year, so the fish are wise. However, given that it is a holiday destination anglers would be pretty disappointed if they went all that way and blanked. It is a truly beautiful place to stay.

    The only fishery you don't get to land your own fish haha bit commercialised for me

      +itanamullik not sure what your fishing background is, but of course it's obvious for a humane minded angler that handling any fish this size alone would be a big no no if your desire is for the fish to be caught and released unharmed. Catch and release fisheries are a bit too commercialised for thousands of anglers, mostly from countries where there are few environmental concerns. These are the angler's that need educating. Catching any of these species in the wild would be wildy irresponsible they are all endangered and the population at large is only maintained by mans intervention.

      Rufanuf1 I come from a fun yet still respecting and realising the fish kind of background but its called Jurassic jacks and is suppose to be wild. And I'v fished many lakes and had very large fish but the owners tend not to be interested unless its close to lake record, obviously you respect all fish or your banned goes without saying.but give a man his privacy its usually why he's gone fishing.

      +itanamullik Can you translate that for me? not sure whether your agreeing or disagreeing. You can;t land a 200lb Arapaima on your own safely, unless you plan to kill it or possibly yourself!

    • @itanamullik
      @itanamullik 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      I half agree, but I wouldn't attempt to land a 200 lb fish on my own. I just mean with friends and people your fishing with who are part of the experience should land the fish, if your on your own then I agree possibly tell the owners you may need help landing a big fish. But when a guy who lands all the fish daily and possibly put most of them in there is helping you catch them, it semi kills it.
