I actually love the idea of a pub that won't let you use your phone. Gets people talking and enjoying the moment ☺hope you can get up to Scotland soon when you've got more spends!
@Emmie4497 It's a nice concept, I go to one Rye, Sussex. Conversation is encouraged as the landlord sits you down with other people to chat with. Also, every item in the pub is available to buy. Pretty unique
@@TheLifeOfSteve24 Very unique! I love that. Technology sometimes prevents us from actually mixing so it's brave for these places to try and reclaim the social side of pubs

I remember drinking in the gardeners arms during the day visiting one of me mates who was at university in Sheffield. I was about 17 and got the national express over there from Leeds. Was a messy weekend.
Hi mate thanks for my video request I live in Sheffield what your honest opinion about pubs ... Rough pubs are penny black near bus station bankers draft pub round corner and hen and chickens pub rough pubs all 5 mins walk between them
I live in Sheffield, and been to every one apart from the Wellington. We usually end our nights at the Washington. Might have to pop back to the town centre some time soon!
Most of the real dodgy pubs in Sheffield city centre have been closed down by the Police. They were literally getting called out to them non stop... all day pissed up drinkers fighting amongst themselves, ordering things you wanted stealing and buying allsorts that had already been stolen.. if you'd have gone in and theyd not seen you before youd have been approached especially with a non local accent. These pubs were packed out all day long, you could get any drugs you wanted anytime! 😄
I usually go to Sheffield once a year to either watch a theatre show or to watch the World Seniors Snooker at the Crucible and I usually have a pint of extra stout in The Bear when I'm to early to check-in to the hotel and I usually have one more there before I watch the show or snooker.
