Heya Michle Davis, most people tried adding extremely life like voices with it. But you kept it simplistic but kept the emotion at the same time, I think you did an amazing job, and you greatly helped me with reading this story. I'm not one for these stories so I found it easier to listen to a audio book, as I said before others made it hard to just listen without paying attention, but you did that. And made the genera to some extent enjoyable to me, I thank you greatly!
To some extent enjoyable dose that mean it was something that you HAD to listen to like e.g for purposes of studying rather than entertainment? I hope you don’t mind me asking as I always look down the comments for a review that other’s have liked 👍 . If it’s not entertaining then I will try another one because you are right about the narrator. He’s very good! Blessings from London!❤
You have an "Elliott Gould-like" delivery style. Thank you. Although I would have interpreted the text in a different dramatic tone, the pacing and diction are rather solid and I used this as a resource for the students in my college literature course.
Despite the melancholy subject Kafka conceived most of his work as comedies, and you can see a hint of that in part one of this story. When he would read Brod passages from The Trial he would have to stop from laughter.
Kafka seems to be super underrated during his time , I actually came across him in Resident Evil Revelations 2 and found his work, it is very interesting
Got this book as a gift Really wanted to read, but it had been 10years since I read a real book. Matches my book perfectly. Could've been better with expressions, But still works ..
I think you should say the words that ar win the book for example you didn’t say the word embarrassing cuz when the main Greg wanted to call sick he didn’t cuz he thought it was going to be embarrassing but since you didn’t mention that is was going to be embarrassing. But good job I enjoyed the video 👌🏻 I liked

Finally found a version with accompanying text lol.

I just finished reading it for a test tomorrow, and im crying because of this book
I probably like the book if I didn't have to spend a whole quarter last year in school learning about it
a whole quarter for 75 pages is crazy. Istg English teachers like that are the ones that murder the love of literature
Kafka seems to be super underrated during his time , I actually came across him in Resident Evil Revelations 2 and found his work, it is very interesting
I came across him thanks to two games, Limbus Company and Honkai Star Rail having a character based on his books
During his time he was unknown, his writings came out posthumously
Thank you for uploading, we are reading this in my world lit class and the reading helped me focus and understand!
More audiobooks w scrolling text please! Les Miserables, more Kafka, or War and Peace? Thanks!
Thank you so much. This helps a lot for school
The way i had the whole summer to read this and i never did and now its one day before school 💀🙏🏼🙏🏼 (im cooked)
I finally get what Peter Weller meant in Naked Lunch: “It’s a Kafka high. You feel like a bug”
What a powerful story of loss, the absurdity of our lived and change

Got this book as a gift
Really wanted to read, but it had been 10years since I read a real book.
Matches my book perfectly.
Could've been better with expressions,
But still works ..
although the voice was flat and lifeless, I think you overall did a great job!
I think it's lowered a couple of octaves using some sort of audio processor.

There are multiple versions of the book. I'm assuming the book was in a different language and translated by multiple people.
