  • “My Story” is a video series that dives into the personal stories of people who have struggled with opioid addiction.
Steven has struggled with drug and alcohol addiction since an early age. This video is his personal story of what led him to go down the path towards addiction, what the consequences were of his addiction, and how he choose to overcome it. But not without some incredible hardships, loss, and help from people who care. It’s a powerful story and we're thankful Steven had the courage to share it with us.
This video series is supported by Stand 4 Recovery, a nonprofit that helps find and pay for recovery treatment of individuals who are left without any options from their insurance providers or government programs.

Ms Susan do you know if there's any programs out of state that will take my insurance? I dunno how that works till I can call my insurance Monday. Seen ur comment on top so that's why I'm asking you. Just asked ng around seeing what I can come up with. Had almost 5 months sober and relapsed recently. Not a major relapse but never the less a relapse. Need to get back out of my mom's and into a program again that I can start stacking days and making progress again.

@Aka awesome 10 million views Go get it then brother. I relapse recently. Almost 5 months sober. I know I have to make a move again to get myself into some structure again. Check where I went wrong and work on it. Hope all goes well for you man. Do yourself a favor and get into a program if your still in active addiction. Hope all will be well for you. God bless

It is outrageous that treatment costs money. Drug addicts usually don't have jobs or insurance or money. You need universal health care so you all can get treatment. Drug addiction is a health problem, and does not belong in a system that is for profit.

Something is broken, almost no addict is gonna have Insurance or money for anything other than substances & thats a destructive mission. There needs to be a more realistic way. Gotta appreciate the honesty & still young w/ his whole life ahead. Things can be so dark, then even a year or even just months later life can get brighter. Faith in God & keeping our eyes on His Goodness will put life in right perspective, we can step out of darkness into His Marvelous Light by His Mercy & grow in His Grace

How many more people will die or continue the addict life until we can make treatment affordable and available to people like yourself. As most know admitting you have a problem is the first step and I hear so many stories of people realizing it but search for treatment that isn't available then they end up in the morgue from an OD because they couldn't get the help they wanted and needed!

You wouldn't believe my story if all the evidence was destroyed. I am a psychologist, economist, thinker in addiction recovery and I don't know much, but I know what I know, that you are like me, imperfect, and life teaches with consequences. I offer a reward for whoever helps me overcome the most severe and devastating censorship in history in a social media era for many years so the discoveries of the nature of addiction, God and money are revealed. You can prove it. I reward for doing what should be done without reward. To understand only to want to understand is required. We live in a society that if you play well football by the time puberty is reached the biggest clubs would scout you to offer big money to hire the potential star, but the greatest thinker of all time without a line on a Wikipedia page is ostracised socially being censored because humanity can not tolerate disagreement or different understandings of reality. I truly don't know how to explain my situation anymore because I am not understood, and people don't care. Humanity don't care about learning because are censoring knowledge, because they think they know enough believing they know everything not understanding anything. Nobody benefits censoring knowledge, ideas, understandings of reality. Knowledge is good. I can prove addiction is the psychology of a liar and the brain disease of addiction doesn't exist. Where are evidence driven atheists and conspiracy theorists when you need them? What is news? Do you think you are being informed of what is going on in the world, the reality of life, history? I challenge humanity on the debate claiming that atheism and religion are misunderstandings of reality harmful to God's Life. The lives of your children, all future generations, depend on knowledge being known. Peace is the truth away. The debate between atheists and religious people is stagnated because God exists because nothing can be created from nothing therefore the creation needs the creator to exist, and the religious god doesn’t because hatred is not perfect love. The only way to end religion is with the first unique unambiguous theory on God based on logic and rational thinking ever written in social media. The importance and urgency can not be overestimated. I just want the censorship to end and addiction recovery to begin. Humanity are living a nightmare in active addiction dying deceiving deceived because are not honest, because parents don't teach their children to be honest, because are not honest themselves. What parents teach their children? I am talking about freedom of expression, of being honest. God is the Mind Healer and whoever lives by God for God doing what is right regardless of law would not suffer addiction and other mental health problems. I hope my truth is understood for God's sake. To discover the nature of addiction, God and money you have to think a lot for yourself being honest, it is not easy addiction recovery, the greatest achievement of all time.

@@BrittanyandJesus If you don't understand why logically the universe can not be eternal is because atheists want you ignorant asking the most imbecile question of all eternal time "who created god?", and if you don't understand why "who created god?" is irrational is because the cult wants you ignorant. "Who created god?" is the most imbecile question of all eternal time because no other question has brought more death, suffering and destruction than the atheist remark, because the belief inmune to arguments that everything came from nothing and therefore there are not consequences for our behavior beyond the finitude of life creates a selfish and arrogant mindset manifested in destructive political ideologies like communism and insane behaviors like serial killing. Atheists believe there is nothing more important than oneself not wanting to understand that we are part of a whole infinitely more important than ourselves. Atheism is a logical fallacy or lie that harms innocent and vulnerable children that assumes God is the religious idea of the creator of the creation to conclude wrongly that no creator exists because a particular idea of God doesn’t exist. The atheist logical fallacy would test your IQ and if you don't understand it children would explain it to you because it is easy to understand being honest and impossible lying to oneself. Atheists would ask "why not believing in fairy tales is a logical fallacy?" confirming I am right and atheists believe God is sky daddy and they don't believe God exists, and they are wrong because they believe. God is the creator of the creation and sky daddy is the religious idea of God. Atheism is a logical fallacy regardless because the reasoning does not lead to the conclusion that no creator exists. To understand atheism is a logical fallacy ask yourself why atheists address God as "he". Atheism defends an idea without any arguments and the result are confusing verbiage, pedantry, quantum physics a la carte and innumeral irrational remarks like "you assume the creation", "if your god comes from nothing the universe can come from nothing". God is necessary for existence because from non existence can not be created existence. The existence of the intelligent creator of the creation means that a reality of a different nature than the universe exists. To honour the truth would you admit atheism is a logical fallacy?
