Some people do drugs and look like shit after. You kept your looks. Life is a journey. Don’t dwell too much on your past. Heal it and try and let it go. Just know what you have to stay away from. Try and help people. It helps your trauma. Selfless is key. You are not alone. Find someone in sobriety that you want to be like. Get your sponser and do the work. It’s. Life long journey but you can get to a peaceful healthy place. Anything is possible.
I just to say after listening to Deb's story in son wow in Australia we suffer with our sons on recovery and the addictions are out of control and the young men today don't reach out to each other and say are U ok it's sad
May God bless and help every one who is struggling with addiction. Don't give up. You are strong and you can do it.
First and for most I want too say thank you for sharing your story and how you where able to overcome addiction wish nothing but the best for you my names Eddie I was addicted to her ion and been sober for 2 years and have a baby girl now I’m blessed too say my addiction is all behind me now I went through a lot at a young age and didn’t understand why I became such a bad addict but as I went too classes for addiction I found out what it was that I was struggling with as a person that been through so much I lost my mom when I was 14 and just a few months later I lost my brother so just being a kid hanging with the wrong crowd I found a way too help with the pain which with the I come too realize what I learned in class I never properly healed from all I been through I just thought I could share some of my story
Jesus Christ died for our sins on the cross and rose from the dead. Repent ye, and believe the gospel.
its the parents that suffer/ addicts are the victims. the persecuted, the victims.
This world is upside down and back to front Jesus accepts you even when others don't Carinthians /Romans God bless you all 🙏✝️
Life makes no sense sometimes. I hope she can be at ease one day🫶🏽
It all starts with one presentation in a doctor’s office. Opioids have a place but should be low dose , short term and LAST resort.
Heartbreaking 😢. God bless
Trying to stop..Haven't drank today.. But i REALLY want to.. Its all i can think about. I won't today. Hopefully won't tomorrow either.
thanks
I stopped drinking best thing I ever did… I hid a lot of problems from myself… quitting was very difficult because I didn’t wanna face my real day-to-day problems. Everything from slight anxiety to high anxiety to hyperactive. The list can go on and on but alcohol exacerbated everything once I quit alcohol alcohol everything was manageable. It was quite amazing and that’s what they promised. I asked for help and I got freedom from bondage. Couldn’t believe it.
He keeps getting better because he exposed himself. Stop traumatizing the traumatized! Acceptance of self is key.
Steven, you are so much more than just an addict. You are a great young man. Bless you and keep going strong.
Looking healthy. Been clean for a years. Had a 15 year crack and heroin addiction
If you can’t get into a treatment center, you could always go into a shelter, they usually have 9 month programs where you can live there and receive counseling for free. I’m going into one of the programs Monday coming up in Miami Fla✊🏾
So sad 😢🙏💔
God helped yu my beuitful lady yur an angle and yur sins are so lucky two have yu yu are a angle. God knows yu are I can’t tell yu how I feel I love yu and I’m so happy for yur boys God will keep helping u all in the name off jeasus Christ bless this family ❤

Thank you Rodney, you may help hundreds of people, God bless you and your life ❤
This lady didn’t know what diabetes was, and was scared of it?
I also have 111 days today. Our journeys to are different, but the destination the same.
Was this on soft white underbelly??
This shit hit me hard, I’m really battling meth & ghb rite now, after a decade pf cocaine abuse, built up a great career then pissed it all away too. I’m really trying at the moment as I’m at rock bottom and stories like this really inspire and give hope where it’s needed! If anyone’s reading this and can relate, we can do this & this man is living proof ❤
You've got this!!👊 I'm 35 and for the past year I've been tapering off large quantities of prescription opiates. Been 7+ years using due to cancer, crohns disease and 4 major surgeries. It's a long process, just taking it one day at a time. Wish you all the best in your journey!
Statue of limitations on sexual abuse is only 3-5 years??? That's insane it's so sick how the government is more lenient on sex offenders then they are drug addicts and/or drug dealers. It's really sickening and real life infuriates me.
Thank God, there is a better life upon his return! No tears, pain, nor death. Thank you 🙏for reaching others lives.
I broke everything in the house and shot the wall woke up the whole neighborhood and got choked out by my boyfriend. Alcohol is no fucking joke whatever you do don’t drink it it will end up killing you. I don’t drink a lot but when I do I almost die every time listening to these stories helps me be just still right now. Alcohol has ruined my life and I’m 25 this is my life this is not okay
Battling an opioit/opioid and benzo addiction for the last nearly 3 years :( its a real tough road for sure :( addiction and trauma dont go well together huh. Glad this dude overcame his battle <3

Chemical control substances are really harming people. My heart stopped beating 11 minutes and coma 10 days after getting high.
Linda seems like such a sweet lady my heart goes out to her
I hope hes still sober❤ my father was an alcoholic doctor and when i was 4, he tried many times to kill himself. Back then 1972. he admitted himself into a mental hospital while he was blacked out drunk....woke up to the horror of the situation. He was given electric shock daily for 3 weeks....released with no counseling, fired from his job, my mother told him she didnt love him..... He went into the woods and shot himself in the mouth with a shotgun. I ended up as a heroin addict....alochol didnt do it for me. The love of my life died of a fentynal overdose in 2018. Finding him dead was the last straw. I knew i was next. So i went to the suboxone Dr. Im now 70 days off suboxone. Check out The Mood Cure by Julia Ross. Its valuable for recovery.....also i ate just fruit and lots of vegetables....nothing else.
keep it up brother thanks for sharing your pain im in recovery my self and everyday is hard keep it up be you for you
Proud of you 💪❤
Glad to hear your story. Praying for your continued recovery. God bless you. 🙏🏾
