These are all good practices for improving emotional, mental and physical performance. But nofap? Can one limit it to once a week, or once every two weeks? For sexual health, you understand.

Let me add another tip that may seen obvious but I think people in general do not realize it: Just think more often. And by thinking I mean to set an amount of time away from distractions and in a silent environment just for thinking. Choose an useful topic and think deeply about it. If you have some problem in your life just set some time to think about possible solutions for this problem. Talk to yourself, imagine different scenarios. If you are reading a self improvement book, set some time to think about the lessons from this book and how can you implement it in your life. People live in a passive way consuming TV shows and social media and they forget the basic to be smart: Turn off your devices and think!

Very simple but not so obvious when there are so many stupid/unnecessary things people can waste their time/life on.

Several years ago I became totally obsessed with learning and personal development, and am constantly studying one way or another, every day. I can honestly say, without a doubt, that I have DRAMATICALLY increased my intellectual capacity, memory, and general brain power. Life is so much better when you develop interest and passion for things, that's for sure, read, learn, grow, and never stop improving yourself.

I wouldn’t say completely delete social media, I’d say delete the ones you don’t need, because if you use social media right, you can get ideas and different hobby’s, as much as cooking and other things are valuable, so is creating things, if someone goes on social media to watch clothing videos or something try to make your own clothes or recreate the outfits on the pictures, and archery could also help with focus and vision, and learning how to fix things like house renovating

I think a good tip I’ve heard is: Don’t teach your mind to be lazy, when you encounter some sort of barrier, let’s say a math problem for example, maybe try working it out instead of automatically using your calculator. It teaches your brain to think and not be lazy. P.S. I interpreted this from the book “Rich Dad Poor Dad” by Robert Kiyosaki.

Great video! Also another thing I noticed in the movie is that once he takes the limitless pill, there's not a time where he's just planning, he jumps straight into doing, and I believe he always strikes gold. But the main thing I learnt from that was, action is better than inaction. Thanks again for the video! Great advice.

"Do not just read self help books" .
This is priceless advice. Most people that are concentrated in self improvement are fanatical motivational book readers. But this is not enough! You cannot be inspired to be the best if you have no particular subject to be the best at!
You must be passionate about something and THEN reverting back to motivational media when things get tough in your progress in this particular thing.

My life in relation to self-actualization has been a roller coaster ride. Two weeks ago I wasn't drinking during the week, I was restarting my diet and I joined the gym again. Yesterday I drank too much and started to doubt myself. I'm a perfectionist, so it is really hard for me to be satisfied wih anything I do.
Just wanted to say that stumbling upon your channel was good because it reminded of what I actually want to achieve.
This journey of taking care of ourselves is very engaging and it feels very good to know that there are others who try as well.
Tomorrow i'll practise sports and then try to complete at least one task.
    I wish y'all the best!

"Mansfield's book of Manly Men" is the book I'm reading. I've also found that seeking to know answers about something through pondering and meditation brings them forth from the (aether?) and that writing down what you think about them is a great substitute if you don't have anyone to talk to. Plus, you can review them and it helps you clarify what you are talking about, speak and write more coherently, and remember what you wrote, and learned.

I think maintaining a healthy physical body also has psychological effects - you feel more positive about the path in life that you are taking, and that further encourages you to stay on the right path. Whereas if you do the other four tips but let yourself go physically, people on the outside looking at you may still see the same person - and a major part of self-judgement is by looking at the reactions of others around you

It really comes down to two things: 1. Making sure that every minute of your life is filled doing things you're passionate about
    2. Having a very social life with people you're compatible with
Most people fail with number 1 cos they don't like their job, or maybe they don't like who they are living with, or what they do in their free time etc. Others who succeed in number 1 fail with number 2 because they don't do enough socialising outside of work. They wait until the weekend which is not enough, you need to be doing it several days after work in addition to the weekend. Fatigue can be a problem cos of 8 hours shifts at work so educate yourself on healthy food or drinks or supplements to take immediately after work to get more energy

Just finished the art of war by Sun Zhu now started How to win friends and influence people by Dale Carnegie. I think there’s definitely something to be said for mental conditioning, for example many people don’t strive for great things because they don’t believe they’re capable of them. And sometimes you’re in a bad environment that suppresses creativity and success, so every day seeking out and listening to people who have achieved a lot or have qualities about them that you desire can be really good for you to break out of that bubble. Working out and reading everyday are great habits to build on.

I looked up into this and its kinda bullshit. Do no fap helps - yes but not for the reasons you would think. When you cum , your body needs to make more cum. So more nutriens and vitmins and zinc. Most people are deficient on zinc and some vitamins. So when you dont fap you dont waste potential energy and nutrians that now can be used for better brain and body work. But Having orgasms helps with depresions, mental health, reproductive health ect. So its good for you. Just dont do it 3 times a day and get zinc in your diet.

@@alexforce9 "But Having orgasms helps with depresions, mental health" Thats a totally fake statement. In contrary. Nofap helps against depressions, its THE cure in most cases. There are many depressed people today, little do they do its because of porn and fapping.

Meditation is huge, but I truly recommend meditating the Sikhi way (on the One), rather the Buddhist way (on nothingness) and yes, I have tried both for several years. When meditating on the One, will give you Naam (means connection to the One). And Naam is actually way powerfull than NZT, believe you me. It has to be experienced.

@@guineesspirit7640 Yes, the closed concept of God is the Force (as in Star Wars), it's all around us and within us.
For us, Star Wars explains it better than say the Western religions (Christanity, Judaism and Islam).
Actually Star Wars & the Jedi Brotherhood was actually inspired by the Sikhs (and the Khalsa brotherhood).
