I have spent the last few months with Webflow. This is an exceptionally good introduction. For people that might not know Webflow tutorials are currently designed for the old site. This tutorial is up to date. Thank you. Really clear.
You explain so well and quick, this video is great! What I can't do is get it responsive, when I change to smaller devices it breaks completely the design. Any help?
Wow, I started making websites almost 10yrs ago in html/js/css , moved to WP to be faster and more efficient and now I feel outdated seeing this platform. Thanks for the video, you convinced me to jump into Webflow and give it a try!
This was so helpful, having a practical walkthrough but with plenty of explanations. Thank you! This makes me want to jump right into experimenting with webflow
thank you for such an in-depth and helpful video! I'm a newer web developer and am loving webflow but was confused about a couple of things. You cleared up any questions I had - thanks!!
Thank you for this! I plan to a new role by the end of the year because there is no career growth in my current company so I wanted to build my portfolio in WebFlow!
Nice walkthrough! However, it´s not really about the "new" Webflow features (with the exception of variables), it´s more an overall intro to the tool. So the title is a bit missleading for me tbh. But whatever: I love your stuff! Keep it up! You are VERY inspiring for me!
Well I'm learning about Webflow, first lesson and it's great as an intro, I could handle the software while I couldn't with other tutorial in my native language (french, very long and unprecise/outdated tutorials). I think it's great :)
This tut was great, im making my own portfolio because not only freelance but jobs are booming in my area with webflow, eventhough im a mern dev already this was really 2023 and great, i can quickly test out ideas with it aswell
Brilliant video thank you. Quick question when I alter things for mobile it changes the desktop version why is this happening? Do you have a video on this?
Hi Man, thanks for this great tutorial. I am using webflow to work on a template page for multiple new business streams and this seems to be out of date with the new style settings in the Style Settings Panel. Is there something more relevant as or am I missing something? I am struggleing to build a responsive template. Thanks
Hi there! Thanks for this awesome sweet video! I do have a question about the box, red and blue classes: how does webflow know which style elements are related to the box class and which are related to red or blue? Like all boxes with your box class are 100px by 100px (is that right?) but then the red or blue class decides on the background-color… ?
love the tutorial but if it's truly for beginners you really need to take it slow and make your mouse cursor more visible. you keep switching between your div and hero classes, and not calling it out, creating a disaster for those trying to keep up. Please, for the love of god, show us that you're switching (how do you even fast switch,) and slow down a little.
bro, if you're already making a tutorial, just be a little slower and show what and when you delete, not oops and continue ... just be careful and show exactly what you're doing..when you deleted the div block I did the same but only the red color remained and the blue disappeared
Start with Figma, if you know how to use figma, everything here is easy. Also, I don't recommend going straight into a web design without prototyping in Figma
At some point the body section disappears in the video but there's no explanation how. On my side there is a body, and a section underneath. No matter what I do, I can't get the section to go over the body like how it is in the video. The body can't be deleted, so there must be a way to overlap it, but can't figure it out
@@Piotr.AMS.Studio the free version is but... if you want quality hosting you'll end up paying as much for good hosting as you would with Webflow. Anything of quality will cost $$$ whether it's Webflow, Wix Studio, Wordpress with a premium plugin etc.
Not a dumb question! From the excellent Webflow help: 'A div block is the most basic and versatile element used when building a website. Buttons, containers, and sections are all div blocks with certain extra properties. To a certain extent, a div block can be whatever you want it to be. For example, div blocks can be used to create space or as dividers, but the most common use for a div block is to group other elements together. It defines a division in the HTML document.'
You are like sOooo much better than those annoying jokers who created webflow university. However, you made a mistake at around 10:35, you said hold enter, but you meant hold SHIFT.
Seriously - you know there is NO WAY for anyone with at least mid to advanced design and wordpress experience to even get 10% of what you are saying at the speed you are saying it. I am a photographer and exposures and apertures and shutter speeds come easy to me - but I wouldn't try to explain them to anyone in 30 minutes. Your craft is 10.000 times more complicated and you are just zooming through it like you are reading a news story. Kinda turned off my man. I know your job is to sell Webflow sites, I get that, but some of us (many of us) can't afford you so we want to learn to hack along - the people that can afford you wouldn't think in a million years to watch your video. So - NO GOOD.

Thank you so much, sir ❤❤❤❤
Thanks for the video. I was wondering Whats the difference between div block and a section ?
Why just 720p Payton? It's visible but IMHO you should add 1080p at least.
Need atleast 2k res

Brilliant video thank you. Quick question when I alter things for mobile it changes the desktop version why is this happening? Do you have a video on this?
This made me understand css coding much better, Thanks 😅🤣
Thanks for the video!! It was the best tutorial for beginners I've ever seen

Fantastic tutorial. Very helpful, especially the live example.
Incredibly helpful, thanks so much.
I enrolled in the SEO and Webflow 2.0, will that be updated accordingly and will I be able to access it?
Yes! Our launch of 3.0 has been delayed but we are hoping to launch very soon!
Sweet! Thanks for the quick response :D@@PaytonClarkSmith
i actually really enjoyed this. I hope you do more

What about animations? Can you animate elements?
Great explanation man, pls keep them coming !

Thank you, It's very helpful for me.
Thank you so much ❤❤❤❤
Great video!
Ahhh... like how do I use the result? I need a web app. I want to export everything and use it in a Go server. Can Webflow do that?

Many thanks from Poland 🙂
Amazing! Thankyou sir.
Very helpful, thanks Payton 🙂
This is so helpful 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Looks to be using LVGL base code
Where is the cms youtube video rhat is mentioned in this video ?
Yessir, very helpful. Thank you so much.
In the Layout, Flex tab, the Justify option is not there.
I can't seem to make it apper, why is that?

720p?
Great! Thank you!
Thanks a million 🎉🎉❤
Please is webflow a software or site?
Thanks, good tutorial. Comment for the Algorithm
Webflow is just toooo darn expensive, they really need to get competitive on pricing or lose market share FAST.
Elementor is not much cheaper. What are the other alternatives?
they are competitive. The paid versions of other tools aren't any cheaper.

I think it’s very fair pricing and borderline cheap for what it can do.
please let me know how to delete pages in the webflow
can anyone explain what a div block is? sorry, feels like a dumb question.

THX.
Webflow with relume ❤
How does that work? Do you create a wireframe in Relume and then export it to Webflow?

I cannot find "undo" option. Can someone tell me how to find this option on this new update?
top left click on the webflow logo or navbar you will see it
The best.

Yeah man, old tutorials are not relevant anymore.
learn wordpress instead there are waaaaay more clients for it. all these crap site builders are for losers.
You should go and check those plug-ins, bet some of them are already outdated on your WP site... Oh wait, I think you've 0 clients, troll
This is very helpful sir
