Hey vee lee I also do flatbed and containers. I remember the first time I started out it was hard and rough. But the next day I did great 👍. Keep it up and keep doing containers. Don't give up.
Much respect to you vee, never cross my mind of getting into the intermodal jungle. If I was willing to journey in the jungle, I would prefer to pulled a 53ft chassis with a 53 foot intermodal container. I would be hoping it is drop and hook as well.

I use 3. I’m talking about the port doesn’t have a specific address. So, one of my coworkers told me to use “1 Main St” to get to an entrance. The port website says it’s in Garden city but that doesn’t come up on a gps. I had to put Savannah.
I have the same setup. I even use my own dash cam separate from the company cam. You never know and better safe than sorry. Stay safe and keep rolling!

Hey beautiful, STG? Oh no! I’m sorry to say but you want be their long. The pay drops every few months and the freight is also declining. It used to be XPO but sold to stg about a year and a half ago. This company is going downhill now.
@@iamveelee Respectfully speaking and I'm not trying to come off disrespectful nor killing anyone dreams, but the rates alone are terrible on pulling containers. Beware and careful of these containers companies playing crackhead games with their recap tires if you have a blowed tire. Make sure that you have the technician write peel cap on the invoice if they come out to change a blown tire. Also monitor your fuel usage. You could fill up , but that probably may eat up your load. I used to multiply where I'm going at × 2( Round trip) and back and then I divide by 6 and that's how many gallons I put in. Maybe a little extra if I'm heavy. Beware of their drayage fee and escrow.
I admire you! I have a couple cousins who drive trucks and my brother in law drives. I had no idea that much goes into it!

The frustration doing intermodal, i always went to the railyards to pick up my containers but i always heard going to the ports was worse
