Got a Manticore one for you. Manticore + Reckless Endangerment (kinetic weapon is substitutional) Blinklock + Astrocytes Eager Edge void Sword (or any void Heavy really) And for mods: Reaping Wellmaker, Elemental Armaments, Supressor Grenades (and matching fragment that works off of supression) And two submachine gun reloaders. (Rest of mods, fragments, super completely optional)
Run Manticore with Peacekeepers and Shoulder Charge, any subclass. Extra buffs to the Manticore including a heap of airborne effectiveness, Shoulder Charge to zoom around and confuse people. Since Shoulder Charge is so good for in air movement so long as you sprinted before jumping, combining that with the Manticore's flying mechanics, you become an apache attack helicopter armed with a grape flavored machine gun.
Ah, man this is cool, but NOT any subclass - the play here is Striker titan. That way you can also add the thruster dodge in place of your barricade. There's some more synergy for ya. Max out your mobility too and you'll be FLYING around too fast for your enemies to counter.
Pretty sure Jade Rabbit is a bit bugged at the moment, once you get those three headshots and swap to a different primary weapon, that weapon will continue to do 'head shot damage' on body shots.
Surplus scathelocke with wormhusk crown on stasis with the double shurikan for surplus and duskfield with touch of winter, whisper of chains, whisper of torment and whisper of shards for damage reduction with your duskfield with a 30 sec recharge time so you are unbeatable in primary duals wit resistance and wormhusk crown. You will also need double class ability kickstart and grenade kickstart
What about your astrocyte verse build with the manticore? Blink and pause mid air I imagine completely throwing anyone in the vicinity followed by another blink Or a shatterdive/quickfall hunter with manticore for a quick escape out of the air if needed
If or whenever the gyrfalcons changes go through you should try collective obligation with it and see how well that works Edit: Tried it, can't use the reload effect in PvP
You should use Kepris horn with 100 resilience and an overshield barricade on void. I like paring this with a fun solar exotic like devils ruin. You can get an offensive and defensive barricade alongside having a good burst damage option to use if someone gets close. You could also pair this with a pulse rifle, I use a disparity with outlaw desperado for longer range engagements. It’s an absolute blast. My current titan pvp build
Arch warlock, mantel of battle Harmony, symmetry and a shotty (I use heritage). Use charged with light mods and chaos reach. Get your super as fast as possible. You can use the CWL mods or your exotic buff to make the alt fire 2 tap with only 4-5 charges. The damage buff requires NO KILLS to get rolling and only gets more and more nasty the longer your opponent's fight you. Once you get 7 charges (or 5 with a minor buff) pop ur Rift for the arch buddy and switch to revolution on symmetry. You now have a full auto tracking dead messenger. Enjoy.
with the new changes to the gyrfalcons making giving you volatile it can proc stylish executioner. you can also use the manticore to be unpredictable and invisible. i will call the build the vampire nighthawk after the mtg card (i'm a nerd)
I have so much fun running Cerberus+1 with Getaway Artists. For special I’ve been using an Explosive Personality with Disruption Break to clean up with Cerb or to use the Lightning Surge combo.
Lion ramparts high mobility, high armor, pardon are dust with auto, and loading proxy, with a Manticore smg, and egar edge sword for quick direction change, or a GL heavy. The manticore is for holding an airborn position and you can swap to regain the quick airborn control. The proxy nade luncher is great for weaking targets, however you can add a damage perk in the forth slot to beef it to a huge 1 shot aoe.
This is the manticore build I am planning to run on Tuesday when gyrfalcon gets its change: Manticore, Gyrfalcon, stylish execution, trappers ambush (or vanishing step if you want higher invis uptime or to not run a melee build), Gamblers Dodge, Echo of persistence, echo of starvation, melee max build focused on maximum melee uptime (if using trappers ambush). The idea is go invis, kill someone with volatile, now you are invis again, with DR from the manticore catalyst, and the next person you attack will proc gyrfalcon again cause of stylish. Then loop that. A trick with manticore that I found is that if you start shooting the enemy before jumping, you hover super super low to the ground, which minimizes how much of a sitting duck you are.
I got a good speedy blink build (for hunters). If you run froostees (for the speed without having the extra jump height and for the abilities) and lightweight, you can literally move at mock speed. Also if you what to get spicier, you can make your build to have a infinite dodge and amplified build with it so you can get extra speed. other details about my build: run the following fragments : spark of resistance, spark of feedback and spark of focus. Run theses aspects; Lethal Current and Flow state. That is truly it for the build. Trust me, you are a speedy demon who can spam their jolt one shot punches to get even more punches and speed. Good and basic build
My current favorite build is rocking thorn with the enigma glaive on a blink warlock with necrotic grips. The buffs to glaives to proc necrotic grips combined with the thorn frequently nets me kills after people disengage. Plus people still are not good at predicting blink so blinking behind them and wracking them with the glaive is always satisfying.
Manticore with Blink and Astrocyte Verse is really good. You can blink up, start dealing damage and get the anti Grav thrusters going, blink again and get some crazy movement to then start dealing more damage and get those anti Grav thrusters going again. With manticore being void, it has synergy with stuff like Volatile Rounds on grenade kills. Also have access to stuff like devour, child of the old gods, Vortex nova etc... This build definitely has a skill set that you need to learn when and where to use the blink+float but it throws off a lot of players when you don't come back down to the ground.
Build idea Wave Check Solar titan, Khepri's horn, ace of spades, explosive personality w/disruption break auto-loading holster, burning maul, rally barricade, hammer strike, thermite grenade, sol Invictus, consecration, ember of eruption, ember of singeing, ember of torches, ember of char. Try to max out resilience, discipline and strength stat wise Build tips: play defensive for start of game, whole point is to learn the other players patterns. If there's a lot of heat rises warlocks swap to jotunn. Listen to free bird while playing
Not sure if you’re looking at comments on this video anymore, but here’s a tried and trusted build that I’ve iterated on for about a year and a half now: Subclass- Dawnblade w/ heat rises, icarus dash, and ember of tempering of course Weapon 1- Defiance of yasmin w/ extended mag, opening shot, and an icarus grip Weapon 2- Devil’s ruin Exotic armor- Rain of fire You play this by absolutely flying around corners or above enemy cover charging up the ruin as soon as you leave the ground. Devil’s ruin is by far one of the better weapons I’ve felt in the air because of it’s .4s bodyshot ttk, and you’d be hitting bodyshots in the air anyway, so might as well evaporate people with it. If you miss a mag of devil’s ruin or you just don’t quite get the kill, icarus dash with rain of fire and tap fire for the cleanup. Occasionally eat a nade for aerial snipes. Also DO NOT use this build on more closed maps, I’ve learned the hard way that more open maps, usually smaller open maps like endless vale and fragment play amazingly, whereas closed maps like twilight gap and maps with too open lanes like eternity are not the best if you run out of snipes. I’ve amassed over 2500 kills with devil’s ruin because of this loadout and it slaps when you get it going. I get sweats to fear challenging/ pushing me because as soon as they do they get evaporated
Build: Solar Hunter - Acrobat’s Dodge - Weighted Throwing Knife - (Any grenade) - Golden Gun - Deadshot - Knock ‘Em Down - On Your Mark - Ember of Combustion - Ember of Singeing - Ember of Beams - Ember of Solace - Ember of Wonder Load out - The Jade Rabbit/Outbreak Perfected - The Title (specifically with Classy Contender and a Radar Tuner) - The Dragon’s Shadow - 50+ mobility would be good, I have 80 on my guardian - Use whatever you think is best for the heavy weapon and armor mods
One of my favorite personal builds that I've relied on as my Go-to "I want things to die" builds is an all-void themed Glance build. On Titan, of course :p Fairly straightforward, Glance Primary, Sniper/GL both with Demolitionist (for PvE) or Shotgun/Rocket (for PvP). Run Armamentarium with Magnetic grenades and both the major and minor volatility aspects (still can't ever remember the official names for those things). Max out Discipline and whatever secondary you prefer (I prefer Resilience because I like trading with Barrier). Gist of the build is- If it dies, everything around it dies too. It has only one question for you. EXPLOSIONS?
Titan arc 3.0 with dunemarchers, an eager edge sword, a precision frame shotgun (preferably matador), and a messanger with desperado or really any pulse. And to tie it all together, frontal shield, knockout, and the dodge, and the mini slam Use the mini slam in a big group of people get dunemarchers to proc and feel the Titan monkey coursing through your veins
Solar Warlock, WoSD, Exotic Glaive, Kinetic Sidearm. I run healing nade and Phoenix Dive, but use it like a non-invis stealth build. It is legit crazy how often people don't look up and don't expect you to still be alive.
If you want to get death threats in any crucible mode use this: Striker titan with flux 'nades Armamentium exotic chest Any discipline buffs you can get Some one shot weapon like a sniper or a shotty for when you dont have grenades And the driving force: cryosthesia 77k Get a kill with cryo, freeze an enemy, throw flux grenade at them, then emote.
I'm sure you of all people have tried this. But Manticore and Blink can lead to interesting tech, if you blink while the antigrav thrusters are active you can perform *perfectly* horizontal teleports, and will likely still have plenty of float time on the other side of the blink. As such, I think Manticore and Astrocytes could be used to make a very unique build! Run double airborne effectiveness seasonal mods in the helmet, torn between magnetic and axion bolts for grenades with volatile rounds to buff up that damage occasionally. Have to test charging grenades while airborne, but handheld supernovas while floating could be fun if it doesn't break your antigrav to charge, if it doesn't work don't waste the slot and just take child. For other weapons it's player's choice but I think a little toxic throwback with blink/Mountaintop could be fun, or just a shotgun, since you'll drop when you swap anyway. So yeah, TLDR; Astrocytes Manticore Mountaintop/Shotgun Magnetic/Supernova/Axions Volatile Rounds fragment Double Airborne Effectiveness helmet mods
Manticore Build: Lingering Dread (or any other launcher) w/ auto loading Manticore Literally anything you like Void Titan w/ Bastion and Offensive Bullwark Any abilities and Lift you are comfortable with Peacekeepers are the ONLY required piece. Add the seasonal mod In-Flight Compensator and you're golden
sidearm Slot: kinetic or heavy, no element Flavour text: I didn’t come here to break the 4th law, I came here to break the 4th wall. - cayde-6 intrinsic trait:, this weapon shoot an explosive round that is capable of stuns unstoppable champions, when a enemy is stunned or killed you gain extra damage for 5 seconds, kills or stuns extend the duration the of this perk. Exotic perk: fancy reload, when this weapon is reloaded after a kill it take longer to reload(50%) but it deals extra damage and gives it the ability to unstop for next shot or until the mag is empty. Impact: 90 Range: 100 Stability: 3 Handling: 7 Reload speed: 30 Rounds per minute: 60 Ammo: 3
You should try out my favorite build in Destiny 2, which is Lucky Pants and The Last Word paired with Palindrome (Adept) and Deadshot Golden Gun with Heavy-Weighted Throwing Knives and Swarm Grenades. Make sure you have rangefinder on the Pali and don't put on any targeting mods.
Here's a build idea: -Renewal Grasp Hunter -Preferably 100 Disc for optimization but not 100% necessary -Le Monarque + any Kinetic shotty -Grenade regening stasis fragments (basically set yourself up for a grenade build) -The general idea behind this build is for you to slow the opponent with your renewal grasp duskfield so that the opponent cannot escape the second monarque shot. Basically shoot monarque, throw grenade to get them to slow, then finish with second bow shot
Fellow blink-lock! Astrocyte Verse never leaves my head. I blink everywhere, all the time. I only change my jump for tedious jumping puzzles. I like to run bows/fusions. My 3.0 is devour and chaos excellerant. AoE and linger time of charged vortex catches people off guard.
I'm sure you already know this, but you can blink while gliding with Manticore. It's a very linear blink but it's a very different way to move. Because of that and Manticore being void I like running voidlock. Either pair it with Astrocyte for better blinking or Contraverse for some damage resist and grenade energy refunds to hopefully fuel volatile rounds. In you kinetic slot either run a GL to synergie with the very hoppy playstyle or a bow/sniper to cover your problematic longer distances (and if you do GL or bow swapping then ophidians is obviously a good exotic armor choice)
On Titan using path of the burning steps leg exotics with the new legendary solar glaive is pretty insane. 15%dmg buff from getting a solar kill 20%dmg buff from unstoppable force plus the aggressive frame on the glaive allows you to one shot body anyone with the glaive provided that the first two conditions are met ie; block a shot, kill someone. If you don’t want to use the legs exotic then you can sub your primary with lumina
Astrocyte Manticore... Float so long you get your blink back & keep floating! ... Quick Charge ready speed mod necessary. Also try to spec reload if ya can. Loop = blink, shoot a little (not full mag), blink again, shoot rest of mag, reload, shoot, blink, shoot, reload, shoot, blink, etc...
I know this is not an exotics video but hear me out "Blast in the Past" Kinetic Power Rocket Launcher Flavor text: Before the traveler, we also had our own big guns Intrinsic Perk: APHE Rockets fired by this weapon have special armor-piercing rounds that also explode behind enemy shields with 75% less blast radius. Strong against Barrier Champions. Catalyst: Back in the day Direct hits cause metallic shards to blow behind the target, damaging combatants and possibly stunning them (PS:. The metallic shards are kinda like a shotgun) I was really thinking about a kinetic RPG but was having struggle thinking about how they could make one, this is what i got... hope its not that dumb of an idea
My gyrfalcons build is super cheesy, I do wave frame gl and rat king. Pop out of invis with the gl and follow up with a quick cleanup with Ratking. Amazing for close combat maps or things like clash with so much happening around you
Cerberus + 1, shade binder with frost pulse and seekers, stag, and a personally I run it with a sniper and glacier nades. Pretty defensive play style that holds a point very well
Something that was slept on for a lot of D2, but isn't QUITE as nieche now with holster mods. West of sunfall 7 from the osiris dlc, trust and lucky pants on a solar hunter with knockem down. The play is the basically be switching your handcannons constantly in rhythm with the auto-loading holster perk, so you always have up-tome on your guns and periodically get the lucky damage buff. Fantastic for close-mid dueling, and i usually pair with colony because it's a meme and a great distraction
I’ve got a build that I’ve been using for a while, don’t know if it’s known but it’s for arc Titan, any kinetic smg, fighting lion, and peacekeepers. Makes aerial engagements very fun especially with the new artifact mod
Try cryothesia, truthteller, stasis warlock, fragments of your choice, frost pulse, ice flare bolts, cold snap nades,100 discipline, 100 recovery, and ophidians aspect. When freezing someone if out of melee range use the Truthteller, if in melee range use your melee.
Nah that Manticore goes hard with Blinklock+Astrocytes. Especially if you reload while floating with Manticore and once the reload is done you blink, keeping that pattern going you can stay in the air literally FOREVER.
Ruinous effigy, friction fire, any eager edge sword and solar warlock with Icarus dash, dunk on the competition (If you want big explosions use blink with the exotic and void 3.0, volatile build.)
You can still blink while being held mid air by manticore. ive been blinking above enemies and stopping myself mid air to shoot and then blink away while still being mid air if they start getting to close. astrocyte is best for this so you get the further and faster blinks and it takes a bit to get used to but i find it really fun!
Seeing Chaos Reach drop to the ground, first thought is activating the antigrav thrusters and using thundercrash to dive bomb, could be funny for a clip lol
Cant stop the A-Train. A wastelander M5 with opening shot Perpetual motion (if available) with insurmountable skullfort as a mobility focused build built around constant melee and healing from said melee with knockout
As a hunter with Orpheus Rigs I noticed a bit of a titan skate effect with super in combination with manticore (hand cannon or rifle in primary cry mutiny in heavy)
I like to call it "Dollar store mesome777" essentially, run void warlock with blink pair it with perses-d and a funnelweb. Hopefully you have good roles for each and your choice of power weapon. Don't forget to slap on astrocyte verse for that extra oomph to your blink and you're ready to rock and roll!
My favourie astrocyte verse build is with cerberus+1 and a trace rifle, maybe swapped with a longer range energy weapon for long maps. More memey than anything but fun to use
“I dare you to make something better” alright fine Behemoth slide skating Antaeus wards Cerberus, glaive, distruption break gl, sniper /Chaperone, handcannon, pulse, or any good parring Whisper of rime, chains, torrent, shards Superslide, tectonic harvest 100resliance 90+ recovery 70+Disapline 70+ strength Double outreach or bomber on class item
Ok, here's my Manticore build. Void Titan with overshields from Bastion plus rally barricade. Run One Eyed Mask. Have fun being really tanky while flying around the map and recharging your overshield with Mask
so i also main the astrocyte warlock and i run a funnelweb and a witherhoard with the eager edge sword. still go fast but i get to drop taken fire from the sky and descend like a jumping spider fangs baring down
I like playing stasis titan in PvP. Although it’s very hard to freeze people normally with a stasis Titan in PvP after Glacier Grenade got nerfed. I wanted to make stasis Titans as fun as it was back before the nerfs and I believe I have successfully done that. I made this build because it’s fun to use at least in my opinion, but I found it to be also effective at the same time. Subclass Behemoth Grenade: your choice I like glacier Grenade for quick cover, damage, and using them as a platform. Aspects Diamond Lance (this will be very important for the build) I like to use diamond lances if you don’t like them that maybe a problem but I find them fun to use. Also do not pick up a lance while in your super. Cryoclasm (movement and you can shatter or move closer to frozen targets) The fragments I use are: Whisper of bonds (you get to freeze a lot of people with this build and it makes you super cool down pretty fast. Whisper of torment Whisper of shards Whisper of rending Whisper of chains (if you like damage resistant) or Whisper of fissures (if you like more crystal damage. Guns: Primary Cryosthesia 77k (This will be your way of freezing targets and with the sidearm buff it makes this build even better.) Secondary BXR-55 Battler (This give my build range and will also tie into the exotic armor piece. My BXR has perpetual motion and kill clip. But I also recommend A BXR with blunt execution rounds so if you shatter someone with a punch you get a huge damage bonus. You can use any solar weapon but I like the BXR.) Heavy You can use whatever Exotic armor. The path of the burning steps Gets solar weapon kill periodically give fire walker for 10 seconds. I found it most the time is applied after every other kill. This will increase all of you weapon damage. My 180 hand cannon can deal 90ish damage with a head shot if Adagio and fire walker is active. Once you get a kill with cryo freeze someone and shatter them for a diamond lance I believe the cool down is 14 seconds after it spawns. You can pick it up and use it to freeze another player. Once they are frozen you can either shatter them or deal damage to them with cryo and possibly kill them while they are still frozen. Getting a another freeze shot ready. Use your solar weapon for either long range fights or to buff your cryosthesia damage up to 65ish per head shot if you have fire walker activated. This build works best in 6v6 or free for all. But it still works in 3v3
i have just been fusion nading bariers then swording most times they dont even get shield up, its the same with all other champs but u stun first then nade
i was using manticore with omni using the invis dive to protect me when getting low from floating cause of manticore, kinda to help with the survivability for manticore on a hunter. and it was lots of fun
I know pvp is your main thing, but i have a warlock build for pve that utilizes volatile rounds after unleashing abilites. Void 3.0 is useful. I use nezaric’s sin as the base of the build. The three main stats to focus on are recovery, discipline, and strength. Resil is the fourth. Devour aspect is a must have, and two fragments needed are the melee kills give you grenade energy, and grenade kills give you melee energy. The main fragment needed is the grenade kills give volatile rounds to void weapons. My fourth fragment is kills with void damage cause targets to explode. The mods on the armor should have at least one impact induction, one bomber, and one mod that makes class ability energy reduce cooldowns of other abilities. Elemental well mods like melee wellmaker and elemental ordinance are also helpful. The gist of this build is to keep the void weapon equipped and literally have abilities return faster than light, then with all of the void kills you get you keep volatile rounds and just keep blasting them with manticore. Again more designed for pve.
I call this build "Lightning Rod." Its stormcaller with 100 strength, resilience, and recovery (iff possible, otherwise max out strength and get your Res and Recov as high as possible). Combine this with the exotic armor piece karnstein armlets and the glaive Nezereks Whisper (the best roll for this is unstoppable force and Impulse Amplifier). For the aspects have Lightning Surge and Mind for aspects, fragments you can take whichever you want but i recommend Focus, Recharge, Feedback, and beacons. Makes for a very fun and different take on run and gun. Your super tanky cause of the high stats and galive shield, capable of recovering health on every melee from the stormcallers powerful teleport melee and the stab from the glaive. While you generally dont want to do the glaive melee if you do get a kill it will regenerate your health. For a primary you can use whatever you want, I usually use a pulse or scout to cover ranges.
Try using the monte carlo with claws of ahamcara with arc warlock and the slideing lightning thing and a glave [sorry for misspelled things] (melee build
Le Monarque w/ Oath keepers invis hunter and a hand cannon preferably 120 you can go invis and start a fight with le Monarque and swap to the hand cannon to easily finish off at lots of ranges
void titan with controlled demo, shield throw, axion bolts. If you rush the enemy spawn in control and hit them with the nade and melee you can clean up the entire team with manticore igniting the volatile enemies
Well I'm a titan main and my loadout is very symple but functional. Is Mida multi-tool + literally any energy weapon I want to use + Heavy GL and Ashen wake... Like I said, very simple and non meta. But I feel comfortable with how it works out.
The new solar glaive and winters guile, when you get a single melee kill you can start to two hit guardians. I’ve been using this and mida, which has felt way nicer with full auto on everything.
Not entirely sure how true it is but I saw someone on Twitter saying they play tested manticore during development and it actually adds and invisible floor under you when you have the anti grav buff active which means you are not affected by airborne effectiveness, might also account for it overriding other floaty things like mentioned in the video.
I run spoiler alert with surplus/swashbuckler, pointed inquiry with dragonfly/compulsive reloader, and darci. Im a solar titan with hallow fire heart, max resil, and max strength. I’m not the greatest at the game, but i do have some experience.
I also need to point out that my “build” is kinda not a “build” and more of stats that allow me to do consecration and melee a ton and my guns help in their ranges.
Mesome be like: “Damn I can’t come up with any new ideas for PVP builds, better put the warp speed warlock build in the video again” No hard feelings though mesome, I love your content.
0:28 "I am looking for more Manticore based builds." I'm sure the two people that still use the Manticore are jumping outta their seats to give you their builds. In the meantime, can I introduce you to a good SMG? It's called literally any other SMG in existence. Better yet, use Dawnblade Warlock and Wings of Sacred Dawn to turn any weapon into the gimmicky piece of shit that is Manticore. Can you tell how much I hate this gun? I'm dissapointed because the season pass exotic gives you a decent idea how good the season will be. It works too because the mediocre season pass exotic is part of the mediocre season. But it *does* have the robot doggy, so ultimately the season is 11/10.
It's kind of a PvE build with the Manticore, been pairing it with blink warlock, devour, magnetic grenade, volatile rounds on grenade kill, and ophidian aspects to keep down time to a minimum
Try manticore, new stasis pulse from the season with shatter dive glacial nade hunter or duskfield names with renewal grasps. For this if you use shatter dive you want to use manticore in the air
Looking for builds. Like and share
Ha! Nice "Whose line" intro there - thought you could sneak that one past me eh!? Well you couldn't!! xD
Contacting Destiny Server
Well, just use Touch of Malice with- oh wait ;) /jk
Kepris horn and the void subclass for an offensive and defensive barricade
Got a Manticore one for you.
Manticore + Reckless Endangerment (kinetic weapon is substitutional)
Blinklock + Astrocytes
Eager Edge void Sword (or any void Heavy really)
And for mods: Reaping Wellmaker, Elemental Armaments, Supressor Grenades (and matching fragment that works off of supression)
And two submachine gun reloaders. (Rest of mods, fragments, super completely optional)
Run Manticore with Peacekeepers and Shoulder Charge, any subclass. Extra buffs to the Manticore including a heap of airborne effectiveness, Shoulder Charge to zoom around and confuse people. Since Shoulder Charge is so good for in air movement so long as you sprinted before jumping, combining that with the Manticore's flying mechanics, you become an apache attack helicopter armed with a grape flavored machine gun.
fun build but focuses too much on the Manticore itself, barely any proper synergy.
Can also swap peace keepers for perigean greaves for ae and more leathal charges
No
@@DSClaymore peacekeepers give smgs like 20 or 30 more ae by default, cant remember the exact number
Ah, man this is cool, but NOT any subclass - the play here is Striker titan. That way you can also add the thruster dodge in place of your barricade. There's some more synergy for ya. Max out your mobility too and you'll be FLYING around too fast for your enemies to counter.
By the way, Gyrfalcon's is due to get changed in the first seasonal hotfix coming Tuesday
Yeah and its gonna be pretty OP. Volatile counts as a void debuff so it will proc invis again.
@@snottytoe6957 hopefully it loops without a cooldown
@@Sejikan There is the "too stylish" debuff that you get that will put it out of the loop sadly.
@@snottytoe6957 weapons with repulsor brace are going to make this exotic ridiculous.
But its basicly a nerf in PvP, but the change makes it even better in PvE
Its nasty
2:50 Your 9 is upside down.
What about your astrocyte verse build with the manticore? Blink and pause mid air I imagine completely throwing anyone in the vicinity followed by another blink
Or a shatterdive/quickfall hunter with manticore for a quick escape out of the air if needed
i guess the blink will look like a eager edge blink (like the pause in mid air)
A Blink *and* Manticore user? You my friend must be a hunter of mythical and legendary creatures because that shit doesn't exist.
Its by far the best combo with manticore even 8 months later. Kind of ridiculous how good the combo works together now actually.
Lava crab: khepris horn+dead messenger+thermite+consecration. The floor. Lava. You. Crab.
If or whenever the gyrfalcons changes go through you should try collective obligation with it and see how well that works
Edit: Tried it, can't use the reload effect in PvP
You should use Kepris horn with 100 resilience and an overshield barricade on void. I like paring this with a fun solar exotic like devils ruin. Nice to see the mega gathering storm whiff stayed in the video. Was amazing to see live.
Arch warlock, mantel of battle Harmony, symmetry and a shotty (I use heritage). Use charged with light mods and chaos reach. Get your super as fast as possible. You can use the CWL mods or your exotic buff to make the alt fire 2 tap with only 4-5 charges. This is the manticore build I am planning to run on Tuesday when gyrfalcon gets its change:
Manticore, Gyrfalcon, stylish execution, trappers ambush (or vanishing step if you want higher invis uptime or to not run a melee build), Gamblers Dodge, Echo of persistence, echo of starvation, melee max build focused on maximum melee uptime (if using trappers ambush).

Build idea
Wave Check
Solar titan, Khepri's horn, ace of spades, explosive personality w/disruption break auto-loading holster, burning maul, rally barricade, hammer strike, thermite grenade, sol Invictus, consecration, ember of eruption, ember of singeing, ember of torches, ember of char. Try to max out resilience, discipline and strength stat wise
Build tips: play defensive for start of game, whole point is to learn the other players patterns. If there's a lot of heat rises warlocks swap to jotunn. Listen to free bird while playing
Not sure if you’re looking at comments on this video anymore, but here’s a tried and trusted build that I’ve iterated on for about a year and a half now:
Subclass- Dawnblade w/ heat rises, icarus dash, and ember of tempering of course
Weapon 1- Defiance of yasmin w/ extended mag, opening shot, and an icarus grip
Weapon 2- Devil’s ruin
Exotic armor- Rain of fire
You play this by absolutely flying around corners or above enemy cover charging up the ruin as soon as you leave the ground.
Build:
Solar Hunter
- Acrobat’s Dodge
- Weighted Throwing Knife
- (Any grenade)
- Golden Gun - Deadshot
- Knock ‘Em Down
- On Your Mark
- Ember of Combustion
- Ember of Singeing
- Ember of Beams
- Ember of Solace
- Ember of Wonder
Load out
- The Jade Rabbit/Outbreak Perfected
- The Title (specifically with Classy Contender and a Radar Tuner)
- The Dragon’s Shadow
- 50+ mobility would be good, I have 80 on my guardian
- Use whatever you think is best for the heavy weapon and armor mods
Manticore + Dire Promise or Vulpecula has been pretty solid, especially on blink warlock
One of my favorite personal builds that I've relied on as my Go-to "I want things to die" builds is an all-void themed Glance build. On Titan, of course :p
Fairly straightforward, Glance Primary, Sniper/GL both with Demolitionist (for PvE) or Shotgun/Rocket (for PvP).
And to tie it all together, frontal shield, knockout, and the dodge, and the mini slam
Use the mini slam in a big group of people get dunemarchers to proc and feel the Titan monkey coursing through your veins
Solar Warlock, WoSD, Exotic Glaive, Kinetic Sidearm. I run healing nade and Phoenix Dive, but use it like a non-invis stealth build. It is legit crazy how often people don't look up and don't expect you to still be alive.
Fun spam build is forerunner, starfire protocol, grenade kickstart, and i like a second sidearm like brigands law or drang for closer engagements
If you want to get death threats in any crucible mode use this:
Striker titan with flux 'nades
Armamentium exotic chest
Any discipline buffs you can get
Some one shot weapon like a sniper or a shotty for when you dont have grenades
And the driving force: cryosthesia 77k
Get a kill with cryo, freeze an enemy, throw flux grenade at them, then emote.
So yeah, TLDR;
Astrocytes
Manticore
Mountaintop/Shotgun
Magnetic/Supernova/Axions
Volatile Rounds fragment
Double Airborne Effectiveness helmet mods
Manticore Build:
Lingering Dread (or any other launcher) w/ auto loading
Manticore
Literally anything you like
Void Titan w/ Bastion and Offensive Bullwark
Any abilities and Lift you are comfortable with
Peacekeepers are the ONLY required piece.
Add the seasonal mod In-Flight Compensator and you're golden
sidearm
Slot: kinetic or heavy, no element
Flavour text: I didn’t come here to break the 4th law, I came here to break the 4th wall. - cayde-6
intrinsic trait:, this weapon shoot an explosive round that is capable of stuns unstoppable champions, when a enemy is stunned or killed you gain extra damage for 5 seconds, kills or stuns extend the duration the of this perk.
Exotic perk: fancy reload, when this weapon is reloaded after a kill it take longer to reload(50%) but it deals extra damage and gives it the ability to unstop for next shot or until the mag is empty.
Impact: 90
Range: 100
Stability: 3
Handling: 7
Reload speed: 30
Rounds per minute: 60
Ammo: 3
You should try out my favorite build in Destiny 2, which is Lucky Pants and The Last Word paired with Palindrome (Adept) and Deadshot Golden Gun with Heavy-Weighted Throwing Knives and Swarm Grenades. Make sure you have rangefinder on the Pali and don't put on any targeting mods.
Here's a build idea:
-Renewal Grasp Hunter
-Preferably 100 Disc for optimization but not 100% necessary
-Le Monarque + any Kinetic shotty
-Grenade regening stasis fragments (basically set yourself up for a grenade build)
-The general idea behind this build is for you to slow the opponent with your renewal grasp duskfield so that the opponent cannot escape the second monarque shot.
"Jade Rabbit is only slightly disappointing now."
Have you tried using Mantle of Batttle Harmony with it. With the vortex buff nb buff you might find some success. Maybe vortex grenade on top.
I know this is not an exotics video but hear me out
"Blast in the Past"
Kinetic Power Rocket Launcher
Flavor text: Before the traveler, we also had our own big guns
Intrinsic Perk: APHE
Rockets fired by this weapon have special armor-piercing rounds that also explode behind enemy shields with 75% less blast radius. Strong against Barrier Champions.
Catalyst: Back in the day
Direct hits cause metallic shards to blow behind the target, damaging combatants and possibly stunning them (PS:. The metallic shards are kinda like a shotgun)
I was really thinking about a kinetic RPG but was having struggle thinking about how they could make one, this is what i got... hope its not that dumb of an idea
me, a gunslinger watching an arcstrider lose their super immediately upon activation: "first time?"
Pretty defensive play style that holds a point very well
When the change to Gyrfalcon comes in, roll a weapon with Repulsor Brace. Just do it.
When freezing someone if out of melee range use the
Truthteller, if in melee range use your melee.
Cool part about the MIDA? It's catalyst is dropping from general Crucible wins, so no need to get to the highest rank in Comp and hope that it drops
My favourie astrocyte verse build is with cerberus+1 and a trace rifle, maybe swapped with a longer range energy weapon for long maps. More memey than anything but fun to use
“Congratulations, you played yourself”
“I dare you to make something better” alright fine
Behemoth slide skating Antaeus wards
Cerberus, glaive, distruption break gl, sniper
/Chaperone, handcannon, pulse, or any good parring
Whisper of rime, chains, torrent, shards
Superslide, tectonic harvest
100resliance 90+ recovery 70+Disapline 70+ strength
Double outreach or bomber on class item
Ok, here's my Manticore build. Void Titan with overshields from Bastion plus rally barricade. Run One Eyed Mask. Have fun being really tanky while flying around the map and recharging your overshield with Mask
I call it "Oops all bombs" solar hunter, incidiary grenades, exploding throwing knife, forerunner, bombardiers, heavy GL and a explosive bolts bow.
so i also main the astrocyte warlock and i run a funnelweb and a witherhoard with the eager edge sword. still go fast but i get to drop taken fire from the sky and descend like a jumping spider fangs baring down
Ahamkaras spine with travelers chosen and basically anything that synergizes with it
I like playing stasis titan in PvP.
Subclass Behemoth
Grenade: your choice I like glacier Grenade for quick cover, damage, and using them as a platform.
Aspects
Diamond Lance (this will be very important for the build) I like to use diamond lances if you don’t like them that maybe a problem but I find them fun to use. Also do not pick up a lance while in your super.
Cryoclasm (movement and you can shatter or move closer to frozen targets)
The fragments I use are:
Whisper of bonds (you get to freeze a lot of people with this build and it makes you super cool down pretty fast.
Whisper of torment
Whisper of shards
Whisper of rending
Whisper of chains (if you like damage resistant) or Whisper of fissures (if you like more crystal damage.
Guns:
Primary
Cryosthesia 77k (This will be your way of freezing targets and with the sidearm buff it makes this build even better.)
Secondary
BXR-55 Battler (This give my build range and will also tie into the exotic armor piece. My BXR has perpetual motion and kill clip. But I also recommend A BXR with blunt execution rounds so if you shatter someone with a punch you get a huge damage bonus. You can use any solar weapon but I like the BXR.)
Heavy
You can use whatever
Exotic armor.
The path of the burning steps
Gets solar weapon kill periodically give fire walker for 10 seconds.
As a warlock, I was looking for builds to one shot champs in 2 seconds like Hunter and Titan, but I came to accept that will never happen.
i have just been fusion nading bariers then swording most times they dont even get shield up, its the same with all other champs but u stun first then nade
i was using manticore with omni using the invis dive to protect me when getting low from floating cause of manticore, kinda to help with the survivability for manticore on a hunter. and it was lots of fun
Fire and ice:
Stasis warlock with osmiomancy gloves, coldsnaps, and most importantly, devils ruin.
The "awesome" thing in the intro was very unexpected. I had no idea that existed
Void hunter
trappers ambush
vanishing step
(fragmenst and grenades your pick)
Gyrfalcons chest exotic + manticore
Fractethyst shotgun
Eager edge sword
AKA the purple frog
Try using the monte carlo with claws of ahamcara with arc warlock and the slideing lightning thing and a glave
[sorry for misspelled things]
(melee build
Ah, a fellow liars handshake enjoyer. I see you are a guardian of culture.
Le Monarque w/ Oath keepers invis hunter and a hand cannon preferably 120 you can go invis and start a fight with le Monarque and swap to the hand cannon to easily finish off at lots of ranges
My favorite build
• Solar Titan
- Throwable Hammer + Dunemarchers + Monte carlo
void titan with controlled demo, shield throw, axion bolts. If you rush the enemy spawn in control and hit them with the nade and melee you can clean up the entire team with manticore igniting the volatile enemies
You put the number 6 when you said 9 in the first build
Well I'm a titan main and my loadout is very symple but functional. Is Mida multi-tool + literally any energy weapon I want to use + Heavy GL and Ashen wake...
Like I said, very simple and non meta. But I feel comfortable with how it works out.
The new solar glaive and winters guile, when you get a single melee kill you can start to two hit guardians. I’ve been using this and mida, which has felt way nicer with full auto on everything.
Hey I was wondering how to get the kids catalyst now that it's a new season and ranked changed
Mesome be like: “Damn I can’t come up with any new ideas for PVP builds, better put the warp speed warlock build in the video again”
No hard feelings though mesome, I love your content.
Manticore and Blink, you can blink during the airborne pretty crazy
Who's line is it anyway reference? Very sneaky
oh wtf u were not lying, typing awesome made that seek bar go epilepsy mode
Gyrfalcon is slated for an upcoming patch, not the season launch. Think that was in a TWAB or community manager post
Do u got dim link for blink warlock?
0:28 "I am looking for more Manticore based builds."
I'm sure the two people that still use the Manticore are jumping outta their seats to give you their builds.
One thing I want to see you try is just astrocyte verse blink with manticore and just mess around teleporting in the air
It's kind of a PvE build with the Manticore, been pairing it with blink warlock, devour, magnetic grenade, volatile rounds on grenade kill, and ophidian aspects to keep down time to a minimum
Solar hunter with prox knife and grenade, jade rabbit and heros burden, dragons shadow chestpeice
I like hearing subatomic supernova's theme from No straight roads, getting a like from me for the amazing callback
Gathering storm in pvp 🤡
Gathering storm in pve 🗿
Hey I don't mean to be a stickler but the nine that you said for the first build for the third ranking that was a six
blink plus manticore sounds intersting
5:40 this build run travelers with it so you can get flashbangs more
LOVE the intro from whos line is it anyway!
retold tale HITS right now with the shotgun changes
Try manticore, new stasis pulse from the season with shatter dive glacial nade hunter or duskfield names with renewal grasps. For this if you use shatter dive you want to use manticore in the air
The Jade changes are stupid. Not many people were even using it anymore. Why change it?
