The way Tim lives in Neverland with his friends and dresses as a teenager at nearly 40 suggests he has massive daddy issues. And Sam is the daddiest of dads.
One reason he was so agro is because he had 4 of his boise at the table.... i thought Luke handled it very well. Cool as gelato, and that's another reason pool got so riled....Luke never cracked or gave him the emotional response he was fishing for. Pool really is the highest level of bad faith weasel..... and goal post mover.
Luke has the advantage of genuinely understanding and believing what he talks about. He also keeps a cool head in the face of people who are acting disingenuously towards him. Tim just acted angry and said "fuck" a lot, and that was enough for him to feel like he did something worth showing off.
Guys like Tim Pool wanna scream at you and intimidate you because they want you to be too flustered to answer them cogently with details and facts. They also wanna bait you into shouting matches so no actual facts or intelligent discussion happens, because having an intelligent facts-based discussion risks them being exposed to their audience as the poorly informed ignorant fools they really are.
Honestly Luke is too meek. You don't have to scream back at the psychopath with the beanie but at least troll him a bit. You can let him walk all over you like that while he completely humiliates himself with his sheer stupidity and laziness.
Luke is less left leaning than myself or I think most of the MR viewers (more David Packman style), but he has done a really good job of debating these right wing lunatics lately. Adam Mockler is another great, young liberal TH-camr that I think makes great points and likely brings Gen Z more to the left side of politics.
There's very little appreciable difference in the ideology of the majority report Luke Beasley or David pakman. The differences are a matter of personalities and strategic approach or areas of emphasis.
agreed... i watch Luke from time to time and his liberalism is my biggest issue with him... he is about as far left as you can get with out being in the squad/justice dems range... not a socialist, not a "radical leftist" but a socially progressive democrat.... and he is fairly well spoken, if a bit too meek or timid
I knew this debate would appear here, and I love it. Luke is very sensible, progressive leaning, and very understanding to issues. Would honestly love to see him interact with the Majority Report too!

Luke Beasley is so young and so awesome! He did vent later on his own show because of all the built up frustration of dealing with Tim Pool. What a great job he did, though - his patience in fearlessly pushing the truth is admirable.
Beasley’s ability to keep his composure is astounding; ALSO, he is meeting the other side for some very prickly conversations by going on their podcasts-even while knowing their entire goal is not to have insightful discussions, but rather to to ambush him. He always keeps his wits about him. Thank you for amplifying him!
If he's always going to wear a hat, he could at least switch it up - would it kill him to try out a baseball cap? Lol, just give that damn beanie a break!

While I agree that Luke is a great voice for progressives, I don't really see what Sam Seder could possibly gain by watching him beyond clips like this for the fun half of the show. I don't say this to discount Luke, but he doesn't know anything about politics or economics that Sam Seder doesn't. He's more than twice his age and is a research nerd with a team of research nerds around him. The only knowledge Luke has that Sam doesn't is the perspective of youth, but I think the young people on his team help him with that. His evolution on trans rights is a great example of that.
@@TheybyBaby-c9m that’s actually not true. Luke spent several days and weeks during the campaign at Trump rallies speaking to Trump supports. But does it make sense to have an honest conversation with a mad man? I wonder If this just gives more credence to insanity. We should not discriminate insane people, But should we enabler their insanities?
notice how as soon as the proof is put on screen Tims goons immediately stop trying to say the guy did nothing wrong, and instead try to downplay how serious the plan was.

Does anyone remember him trying to argue that, though he's personally against the death penalty, that people convicted of treason "should" get the death penalty because that's the punishment for that crime? And now he's saying this Jan 6th participant shouldn't get the punishment for the crime they've committed.
I like how aggressive he gets with everyone except Sam, shows you just how afraid Tim really is lol.
I bet Cenk would fold too, probably why he is avoiding Sam.
It clips well, that’s all he cares about.
He didn’t have his daily sushi and poker with the boys.
pretty hysterical for the guy who said that Sam Seder was triggered in his interview with him when he relatively cool as cucumber

@@kiki11974 Exact same thing that Ben Shapiro, Steven Crowder and Charlie Kirk all do (and I'm sure others)
I seem to notice the more wrong Tim Pool is, the louder and angier he becomes. As if belligerence changes the facts.
@@caladanrude6395I like Pakman and agree with him a lot, but I'm almost positive he's said he's not an anti-capitalist.

Not in a Good Liars sort of way, but asking genuine questions. He was also at the rally when Trump got shot. Though I love Sam, he doesn’t go outside and interact with people at all. That’s a perspective Luke can provide. Luke also goes into the Lions Den with lots of conservative commentators, and is really on the “front lines” more than Sam and Emma.
