Great segment guys! A few corrections on the remaining prototypes. The segment you show at 9:04 is not an original prototype. That is a game I built from scratch at TPF 2017 (hence it has full playfield art). The software is also written using much more current technology. The other original prototypes (all whitewoods) of WB and Playboy are also no longer owned by Gene. Several years ago those were purchased by a private collector and are now in better playable condition than they ever were at Gene's. Otherwise, fantastic job documenting this important piece of history! Looking forward to the next segments! -- Jimmy
added links in description.. didn't feel like chasing the machines down further than what happened to them after Williams closed, first article I found was about Gene buying them..thanks for being cool about the footage usage!
@@CaptNRetro No worries at all! Super glad you found it useful! It was extremely wonderful waking up this morning and finding this video. You did the Pin2000 product line some justice here. Looking forward to the next one! :)
I was a wizard on the Star Wars Episode 1 machine. Sinked a lot of quarters in it at my local bowling alley after school. It was way after 1999 but I was happy to see a piece of my childhood still alive in 2015. I sure hope that machine is okay.
Honestly I wish Warner Bros or whoever now owns the Williams trademarks would sell it off to Chicago Gaming Company or some other successor company so we could have the brand back.
"innovative integration of pinball and video" I guess innovative doesn't mean good. I fuckin hate these things, I hope you highlight the fact that you can't see shit thanks to the terrible black levels on the monitor they use.
what a pity in the times i played pinball machine there were only three maunfacturers, namely, williams, gottlieb, bally in my opinion in that time the design of williams' machines were fair and favourable to players the style of design of bally's machines was want-you-to-die style gottlieb in-between williams and bally moreover, a point was not easily noticed the shape of ends of flippers of williams were acute (or sharp) those of gottlieb and bally were round-shaped which made the actual effective length of the flippers are shorter than length apperantly seen and therefore shorter than those of williams
you raise some great points! Thanks so much for watching! I love all games..old EM's and modern SS's..banana flippers, round, carrot..shorties..bring em on!

I was going to say everything Jimmy said. He is THE future of Pin2000!

A long time ago.
Williams could have made a Matrix pinball machine with this system!
The 2000s are an awesome series of pinball machines. I never get tired of watching them. Great work on this episode Captn.
Here’s to season 2. I’m thrilled to see the traction this series has achieved. Good times. Great taste. Of McDonald’s...
it's slowly building steam
Hey, CaptNRetro! The only Williams Pinball 2000 I ever played was Star Wars: Episode 1!
I think Magic Girl or whatever that was was my favorite. But the Philip Dick Total Recall nuttiness was cool too.
thanks for making these man, really brilliant. production constantly getting better - also holy shit, Dialed in the missing pin 2000! :D
thank you for watching
I'm going to try and talk my father into subscribing to your channel using this video
I wish I could give you another like for this
@@DeaDGoD_XIV I appreciate that man

Man, those pinball machines were great!!!
A possible Pinball 2000 option would have been Batman beyond.
Here's an old interview we shot with Gene Cunningham, talking about his company and Pinball 2000:

There are 2 George Gomez interviews on my channel!
Which ones?
Should have made a pinball slot machine. More points scores payouts in coins.

Th ask for that very interesting. . Love my revenge

what a pity
in the times i played pinball machine
there were only three maunfacturers, namely, williams, gottlieb, bally
in my opinion
in that time the design of williams' machines were fair and favourable to players
the style of design of bally's machines was want-you-to-die style
gottlieb in-between williams and bally
moreover, a point was not easily noticed
the shape of ends of flippers of williams were acute (or sharp)
those of gottlieb and bally were round-shaped which made the actual effective length of the flippers are shorter than length apperantly seen and therefore shorter than those of williams

So basically Jar Jar ruined pinball. Typical.
sounds fair
Rise? I think not
Mark Of The BEAST technically.. by being made .. it rose.. it fell very quickly
