You would reduce your water, not your lye. And while you can fully replace your water with coconut milk and coffee, you can’t with the purée because of the solids.
@@LadyGecko so just so that I am clear & understanding, I would reduce my WATER amount on coffee & coconut milk. So say I use a total of 4 ozs of milk/coffee, I would use 4 ozs LESS of water in my lye solution? Thank you.

This is an old video so I am not quite sure what you're talking about without rewatching it. I do know that I would not have used anything with undissolved lye. If it was in the lye solution, then it was lye lint, which occurs naturally and isn't a problem in most cases. Lye lint is sodium carbonate and occurs with a reduced water lye solution, quick cooling, etc..

They look like pieces of lye lint; which is safe to add as long as it's well blended in.
What type of oils is at the start?
My base is a mix of olive, coconut, castor, and cocoa butter.
