- Season 2 of The Christmas Maze begins! In Robert S. Pearson's first tricksy challenge, the Access team must master the time-looping perils of Returnal. With each death resulting in a forfeit, will Dave, Rosie, and Ash make it out with a crystal bauble, or are they destined to fail again and again and again?

Brilliant episode Dave did excellent and Rob being frustrated was hilarious to watch. Those Forfeits wouldve been great but the Ultimate Boss stopped them. I cant wait for this to continue tomorrow this is just epic.
How tempted to you think ROBERT S. PEARSON was to doing the annoying sibling trick of covering Dave's eyes just out of spite?

Robert S Pearson is easily the best Antagonistic gameshow host. What a run from Dave, but I would have loved to see the rest of those forfeits be played out! Can't wait for the next episode

I love seeing how much Rob has like, grown and evolved over the years. Seemed more coy and shy at first and now since he's been free to organize more things and whatnot he seems to have come out of his shell a bit and his theatrical chops are really shining these days.
It's almost as entertaining watching Robert S. Pearson's dastardly plans be confounded as it is reveling in his maniacal glee. Almost. Hopefully they don't smash all the challenges like this one!

There's Nathan in the box isn't it? It's going to be Christmas Elf all over again and he will be the boss this time I can feel it!

I've been saying for a month when the box first appeared that I hoped Nathan was in it to pass 'the Skyrim torch' to Rosie.

This was a Epic start to whats sure to be a great series.

I discovered an entire playlist of old Crystal Maze episodes a few months ago and now I actually understand the winter challenge theming. It's nice to be in on the joke rather than just watching in confusion.

It was the coolest series Access has ever done, so exciting, funny and genuinely engaging, and it made my holiday season back in 2019, it made my lonely Christmas so much better and I'm stoked to download each new episode this year and listen while I'm on my FedEx Delivery Route, making the long days a little shorter

One comment I read was interesting. They thought Nathan was in the huge box ;) and he'd help Rob do something dasteredly in a 2 on 3 match up. It is large enough to fit him I think and Rob does talk to the box XD

@@Towey8 No, he just provided an extra and different personality. I'm not, however, a huge fan of Ash. She seems like a fine person and would probably be great to hang out with I just don't prefer her style on the channel
@@Towey8 Yeah, she's got a very BuzzFeed-ish/magazine article style of writing/delivery that just comes off very artificial to me and it bums me out that that style has been further integrated into the Tuesday (Wednesday lol) and Friday videos more often.
Loved Christmas Maze last time, so glad to see it back, loved it! Rob is definitely perfect host for this he does such a fantastic job! Those zoom ins though, could really see how annoyed he was 😅 well done to Dave did brilliant, look forward to rest of the Series! 👍👏

I loved watching the first Christmas Maze - in fact as a Canadian it also introduced me to the inspiration, The Crystal Maze which I binged watched whatever episodes I could dig up. I have never seen a season of “The Christmas Maze” and I had my doubts but something about the title had me intrigued. But I have to say, by the end I was cheering for them and on the edge of my seat. Well done. Loved it.

Returnal is my GOTY, It actually took me 30 hours and 40+ deaths for me to beat Phrike my 1st time so I can certainly feel Robert S Pearson's pain :p

Great challenge, honestly. Rogue-likes are very tough, so getting through on the second life, especially with that parasite draining his health away and forcing him to pass on items, was pretty impressive and deserving of skipping the forfeits.
This could have gone on a lot longer if they hadn't chosen Dave for the challenge.
And Rob was so smart not to let them know too much about the challenge before they chose their challenger, too.
Watching the Christmas Maze at work and trying not to laugh is my yearly Christmas tradition.
