There's something special about the challenges which require all 3 team members to be actively involved. It just adds that little something extra when everyone is fully invested in the result.
I think the thing I love most about this year's maze is the amount of common banter. Just talking about cats, making jokes, all that normal stuff just thrills me for some reason. I also love it when they mention America! I don't know why. It's like a part of me goes, "hey that's me!"
This episode has put me in the mood to play CTR again. This was a really good challenge and I appreciate Dave and Ash not abusing the fact that there was no punishment for getting a question wrong and giving each question a fair attempt. The music fake out on one of the questions was delightful as well.
Who did the editing on this video? 31:30 totally made feel for Rosie. I'm sure she herself doesn't realize how a random situation got turned into such a sad moment. Give the editor an Oscar. Just brilliant^^
I am absolutely loving this series this year. Dave, Ash and Rosie make such an amazing team. Robert S. Pearson has crafted some great challenges and made for some amazing drama. As much as I want to see the next episodes, I'm scared to see the series end!
Yes, yes, yes. Karting and trivia, now that is a combination I like. Suggestion for next time in regards to trivia, do not roll until question is answered correctly. Even if there was a pass (which was not abused more, great sportsmanship), they would get new question on same topic until answered correctly. Keep up the great work. Can not wait for final surprise challenge.
Is it weird that I'm feeling bad for Robert S Pearson at this point? The tight time did help with the drama in this one, which is nice. That slow zoom on Rosie got a good chuckle out of me though.
@@Eric-bq8nd Or maybe not, they spent more than 5 seconds each time trying to guess the answers and getting them wrong, it would have been quicker to just say pass and lose the time and get on with it
This was the most exciting episode yet, for me at least anyway. Which may have been helped by the fact I've played a lot of both CTR and Trivial Pursuit in my day. Rosie is so talented at so many things, it's incredible.
Re watching the episode it just popped in my head how that last run Rosie's concentrated phase felt like that part in speed racer movie adaptation where he restarts the car.
Three words... Rosie Is BADASS. She's so unbelievably clutch. Mad props for trying to become better than Rob at CTR. This contest was a gift by Rrrrrobert S Pearson. He knew Rosie would be the one driving. That's why he never got that upset that they would win this challenge. This was a gimme. Nice episode, but I'm already submitting my vote for best moment of the Christmas Maze. It was Rosie's clutch performance with Spyro.
Whoohoo!! Binged watch episodes 6-8 and I was on the edge of my seat throughout those episodes!!!! Can't wait to see what is in store for the Access Team after this! Also, thanks to the trivial pursuit game I learned some interesting facts.
possible mystery box challengers include: 1. Bloodborne: defeat defiled chalice Amgydala within a set no. of attempts 2. Defeat Nathan's high score at resogun 3. Complete Hades from a fresh start. 4. Defeat Elle and/or Hollie at a game btw Rob here's a suggested challenge for next year: Gem collector: collect 7 chaos emeralds in Sonic Mania EX within 30 mins
I wish i could like this more than once. I usually wait until the end of the video to like but that shot of Rosie with the sad music had me liking immediately 🤣 great series once again guys
I've got this sneaky feeling that Robert S Pearson was planning this from the start - the guys are good, don't get me wrong, but you just get the sense he is setting them up, building their confidence to just bring it all crashing down at the end... Just a feeling lol Either way, it's been an awesome series so far, great job guys!
Brilliant challenge setup by the devious Robert S Pearson. Rosie though is absolutely brilliant at these challenges. Spyro, the etch a sketch, cuphead and now the ctr challenge. She nailed them all. Rosie the Christmas Maze GOAT!
This was a really clever game combo. Only thought, wrong answers should have had a 15 or 30 second time penalty. Otherwise, for non-pie questions, they could just immediately pass.
Well dave have with returnal win and ash did with littlebit help from Rob with demon souls win . It's important to note all 3 of them work really as a team
I hope Nathan is in the special Christmas box, and the team have to play against him in the final round.. 😅 Love this series guys, Miss Nathan too hope he's well.
Q: "What famous last words did Robert S Pearson say before the Crash Team Racing challenge of the 2021 Christmas Maze?" A: "I mean, I don't like to interfere in this process..."
The editing in this series has always been top-tier but the slow zoom in on Rosie as 31:37 takes the cake. I don’t want this series to end…
haha that part was fantastic
They should have kept zooming 🤣
Straight after watching this part I immediately came to the comments, amazing to see it was the top comment!
i wish Rob was here, he would've loved this challenge
Yes, it's a shame he wasn't around for this one. Strange he's never been spotted in the same room as Robert S Pearson...
@@PlayStationAccess Or Batman...

Robs just on holiday, he does have children to spend Christmas with.
Rob has been away learning how to take over from Nathan as the elf
I think from now on, Ash should only be referred to as "Ash from Wolverhampton" in any future PlayStation Access video or livestream.
This has definitely been one of the takeaways from this series, makes me smile every time I hear it mentioned.
Ash from Wolverhampton And Delicious Dave are now permanent names
We definitely need a meme of Rosie's game face with the caption: "I'm having the best time."
As of 2022, the PlayStation Access team is now:
Robert "Succulent" Pearson
Delicious Dave
Revolting Rozzie
Ash from Wolverhampton
But I don't want the Revolting nickname to stick :'( She deserves better! Change it to MVP Rozzie instead lol
REMARKABLE ROSIE !! Rosie is BadAss!

I did miss Dave in the last episode.
But we’re getting plenty of Dan sightings.
@@JackalsIII Dave was doing some awesome frog flips last episode, and I think that's participating lol...in some way at least
He was also keeping Robert S Pierson busy.
Rosie carrying the team to victory yet again. Legit GOAT.
She was very good, but Ash also deserves a shout because Trivial Pursuit is such a hard game.
‘Somethings happening in my brain!’ - Dave moments before the answer comes to him. I found that moment utterly hilarious
Rosie is the MVP of the Christmas Maze. Spyro, Cuphead, and now CTR? Well done Rosie
Don't forget about Hitman!
“Somethings happening in my brain” is the most relatable thing ever said on this channel.
The way Rob's, "I know what it is... You're just not very good," had me scream laughing.
The best line I've ever heard thus far on this channel: 24:14 'Oh dear, I'm gonna come out. It smells in here. It smells of failure."

Someone needs to go through all these videos and make a supercut video of every time Robert S. Pearson says "yes". 47:58
I love how Ash just eyes that box like "I'm already thinking of Rob's torture this coming Halloween..."
I love Ash's reaction to hearing Boris Johnson's name at 16:33 haha
Rosie, the wholesome gamer coming in with a pointed “I’m seeing many upset Robs” at the end, proving there’s an edge there really 🤣

Ash and Dave arguing for like half a minute to get the question wrong is the highlight for me. xD
You can feel Rosie's nervous energy at 31:30 Like a player character waiting for you to touch the controller
The swelling music on the coin question really got me ahahahha thought they had it and then Rob's cackle 😂
This is literally the highlight of working from home!

Truly a painful moment
Red shell really, second place shot her.
Don't worry Robert S Pearson, there's "Stil-tons" of opportunities for you to win

Thank you for watching, Janine! We hope you had a great Christmas!
Had there been a penalty for wrong answers or passing this would have been a much different challenge

After seeing this I desire two things: firstly for Rosie to race against Rob and secondly I'd love to race Rosie.
One thing this series has affirmed is how good Rosie is at video games under pressure.
The funniest part for me was: Which two parameters are used to calculate body mass index?
Ash: Height and age!
