I watch all these Committed videos over and over again. I'm always amazed with them. I loved them since I first saw them on tv. And I like Pentatonix on a lot too. I never get tired of watching those 2 groups.

I love the Brandy run that Robbie did. I love Thierry's voice. I love the adlibs, the bell tones and the bass. I loved everything basically. They made it their own. Definitely didn't imitate and were more than capable of pulling this off. Well done guys. So creative!

Bro, if you can't hear the arrangement genius and talent in this song you need to get your ears checked and head examined. This was by far the best performance that entire season for a variety of reasons. The thing I'm wondering though is why this recording has the key raised a bit. Other recordings of the original broadcast aren't that high pitched.

I met these guys after this season ended. They performed at a hospital I was doing clinicals at. Very rich voices, and gave me this nostalgic feeling. Love them still in 2019. Wish there were more videos of them.
You have to be a vocalist to appreciate taking a pop song for which there was probably no sheet music, dissecting it, and converting it into a quintet male a Capella group with beat box. They are obscurely talented. It's very difficult to find so many males who can sing at this level not to mention their voice types are all different. Two thumbs way up.

@raddaradda101 honestly, i disagree. they dont just make covers, when you listen to the original and to their arrangement, the feeling and soul they give to their songs is really different. Musically, it might not be that different, but they just engulf the listener with their chords.... its just... amazing
i'll be the first to say that these guys are incredible but i still think Street Corner Symphony should have taken it. these guys just sang covers, exact covers, just a little smoother. SCS made the songs unique, made them their own. If they can make CCR appealing to teens nowadays they deserve to win automatically
In most of @mrduckbear11 judging of the performances, he never mentions anything about chords locking, how well they modulate, how well they stayed in tune, etc. Just: "I don't like the song, but they did okay, B+." I wonder how really qualified he is to be judging after all. I mean it IS called the SING OFF.

You are completely right. That was definitely deliberate. Scott did something similar at the end of "Let's Get It On" the following season. Never mind the fact that the judges never fail to lets groups know when they are "pitchy". They will occasionally make "exceptions" for it, but they ALWAYS mention it when it is an issue.

I just realized a MAJOR difference between season 2 and season 3. As I am watching committed perform, I realized they are just standing there singing. There is NO choreography WHAT-SO-EVER! They just stand there and sing. In season 3, there is BIG-TIME CHOREOGRAPHY! Every song PTX sang in season 3, they are COMPLETELY choreographed. Big difference. .
It's 2024 and I still keep coming back to this beautiful interpretation. The arrangement is incredible. It never fails to touch me. Thanks fellas!
