I love how all the members of Committed are all so talented, great soloists on their own. But they are all still able to blend beautifully, and pick up any slack for the other members. For instance, how Tommy is the usual percussionist in the group. But when he sang the lead in the second song, Robbie seamlessly picked up the percussion for him. And this has happened more times too, whenever Tommy sings solo, or when their bass sings solo and someone picks up the bass for him. Amazing amazing blends and harmonies
Thing I love about Committed is that they, like Street Corner Symphony, are pure in their singing. No gimmicks and so called innovative ish. Just good ole tight harmonies and melodies.
they killed this medley, amazing transitions and harmony. personal favorite in this three was "You Got it Bad" that was amazing with that blend of the bass and vocals
Committed are the next boyz ii men! I love this show it 90000 times better then American idol what I love about this show is that they find real talented musicians that can sing with so much passion
i love committed, they have soooo much talent, they deserve all the greatness in the world. Maurice, and Tommy...I remember from back in the days look at you now. Congrats!!!!
Does anyone remember TAKE 6? Same type of sound. First showed up in 1988 or 89. I bet these guys listened to them as little kids. GREAT kind of music . . . I've said in other posts, their bass is killer. Perfect intonation on which to build their chords.
I love this show!! Please watch this show so that it can get high ratings... Amazing group - there's so many talent groups like this in my home State of Alabama :-)
it is just a shame that with all the talented group in the second season, after the show things didn't go that well. 2nd season was crazy, everybody was just great and could sell songs. Yet they didn't get noticed or just ignored by the record companies. It's up to us to give them a demand, to show record companies that investing in these talented group is viable.
They blew her mind all the way? I never realized there were degrees of mind blowing. I assumed it was either blown or not at all. I Wonder what it's like to have your mind blown half way?
i LOVE them and i listen to them 45 minutes at a time when i turn them on... but its wired, even though i dont watch much news or gossip???? They didnt do this by themselves. it rocks HARD but they had help.
so i pause it to go eat and then come back and press plaay and the first thing i see is shaun bouncing saying "that bounce you didnt leave out that bounce" i was like wait what am i watching again
Sometimes I wish they will be as famous as Pentatonix, Committed was my favorite group of all the seasons The Sing Off were on air.
Luis Rodríguez
Stop conparing fucking pentatonix to committed Jesus
Luis Rodriguez They are as famous. Just not in the same circles as PTX.
Marketing is the problem in that scenario
I agree.. especially since sonically they are way more complex... Still Love Pentatonix as well though.
Yess...I am still listening to it now...2020
it's 2022 and i still love their music/renditions.
2024.

Also, am I the only person that thinks his "birth control music" comment was really uncomfortable?
Classic
Love that tricked out chord at 1:36!!!
Why the heck is this video blocked in Canada but all there other performances on The Sing-Off are fine?!
Could be copyright/intellectual property laws..? Maybe just a mistake..?
I GOT IT BAAADDD :*
@beasty47 I noticed that the first time I watched it! NOT that I was watching for THAT!! LOL
@ellis12241 She isn't coming back next season...so, so happy.
@jan8919 Please elaborate on what you mean they're going to be the next boyz II men? like in what regards specifically
3:22..DAMN!!!!!
Birth control music HAHAAA!!!

@sarakhertzog I really like the guy with the hat too though...his part is fun. Perfect order of the three songs.
At 1:47 was my favorite part I mean come on who doesn't like ushers classics
@cheyenne1ize Yeah I know, I love his voice...his part of this was my favorite, and that's the best song out of the three.
i LOVE them and i listen to them 45 minutes at a time when i turn them on... but its wired, even though i dont watch much news or gossip???? They didnt do this by themselves. it rocks HARD but they had help.
How is the second song they sing called?
@jan8919 I know right, that's what I said, they sound so much like boyz II men! I still love American Idol though!
@beasty47 OMG!! I just noticed!!! lol!!!!! dem church boyyyyyyzzzzz

2:30 that is all
the solo is the best part
i think this particular recording is a couple notes above the key it was originally sung in

LOVED THIS PERFORMANCE! The one person that didnt like it is really stupid
I've watched this video a couple times and left before Nicole starts talking. The comments scared me off. Is it really that bad?
HOLY GAWD DAMN IT JUSTIN BIEBER IN DRESS >> 3:37
@beasty47 Usher songs can make you do that...
Ya'll crazy. Nicole was great. Funny as hell.
Jewel was the best -very knowledgeable, very articulate. Nicole knows her music but I felt she only contributed comedically. :-)
