Alright, take it for what it’s worth. The door taken down to the left of your shoulder Bob…they sell a thin probably 3/8 thick by inch and a half or so piece of trim at the big box stores. It fits perfect width wise you’ll just cut to length. Then a few trim nails and some caulk and paint. It will cover the hinge cut outs and can be easily reversed in the future. I do this a lot at my job as old people don’t like doors it seems. You have such a nice background and this just stands out to me.
If I remember correctly, Dark Chao are made simply with taking care of Chao as one of the dark characters (Shadow, Rouge, Eggman) Similar to how you need to take care of Chao with the Hero characters (Sonic, Tails, Knuckles) to get a hero Chao. Then you just mediate between the character sets if you want a neutral Chao. From what I remember it's actually really bad to abuse your chao in any way, even if you want a Dark Chao because it decreases their chances of reincarnating and also they get very sad which makes me sad. :(
I have been saying this for years, if sega made a sonic adventure 3 for new consoles, bring back chaos, and have a phone app that you can connect to your game, to send you chao to, raise it up and play games with it, maybe some races and stuff, it would be awesome!
It's great having you guys on in the back ground while we work! Helps make the paperwork go by with haste and with more fun. Thanks for the great content and info!
I still want ported to the Switch, is Zelda: Wind Waker, Twilight Princess, Phantom Hourglass, and Spirit Tracks, Harvest Moon: Magical Melody, Save the Homeland, and Animal Parade, Rune Factory 1, 2, Frontier, and Tides of Destiny, Pokemon Gen1-3 on the NSO GB/C/Advance app, PokePark 1-2, Digimon World 1-3, Dawn/Dusk, and Adventure(plus many other Digimon games that never got imported), Summon Night Swordcraft Story 1-2, Mother 3, .hack//INFECTION+ the other three installments, Dark Cloud 1-2, Okage: Shadow King, Pirates of Aradia, etc etc... Mostly games from Wii, Gamecube, PS2-era. There are soooo many forgotten gems that haven't been ported, or only got a second digital chance of life on PS3.
Now I understand why I love Wood so much, I played Sonic Adventure 2 so much for the Chaos garden, I do love the game though, amazing music, the story, I cried at the end, I felt like the story never got a proper ending, we never knew what happened with Shadow, he has his own spinoff game but it sucks. And just like you I love Sonic but in reality what I think of when I think of Sonic is this single game, and it is so good that its enough for me to love Sonic.
Unpopular opinion about Sonic: Sonic Heroes was amazing and I'd love to see that on Switch. I played that game around the time it came out almost 20 years ago, and for me it was the best Sonic 3D experience I've had, even better than some 2D, it was a game with immense replayability as it forced you to replay levels to get all the chaos emeralds to unlock the true ending, and you got to play the story through each of the 4 teams' perspective, each of which had a different play difficulty. And the soundtrack, so cheasy yet so good, I sang those songs for years because they were so catchy, I have great memories of that game.
13:54 if I can't buy it, I don't count it as part of the Switch library, since you'd have to always pay for the nintendo online+ thing to play it. I wanna just buy the game and play it whenever I want to
nintendos reason for phone voicechat is so younger kids cant secretly voicechat with strangers without their parents signing off on it (assuming kids cant set up their own online sub and account), because allowing that on 3ds caused some real bad things to happen
I’d like these on the switch: Super Mario Galaxy 2 Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time HD Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask HD Legend of Zelda: Windwaker HD Legend of Zelda: Link Between Worlds Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past Remastered Soul Calibur 2 HD F-Zero GX Remastered Kid Icarus: Uprising HD
As your resident listener who teaches Japanese, I enjoy seeing the progression of each new episode. P.S. For the time you said in the beginning, 1:12 would be: Hiragana: いちじじゅうにふんです。 Romaji: Ichiji juunifun desu.
Having NOT played a bunch of Ubisoft open world games... I love Battle For Atlas. Great Star Fox content, love the flying around, and more fleshed out than the Galaxy on Fire games that I also loved
There are some XBox360 games I'd love to see ported to Switch, primarily the Fable trilogy, Eternal Sonata, Blue Dragon, and Lost Odessey. I could see Viva Piñata doing well on the Switch, too.
Arkham games were on my dream port wishlist forever and we’re getting it. Next is fallout-I’d love to see new Vegas, but I’d take any of the fallout series
I'm with Bob. I really enjoyed Andromeda and have finished it twice. But also played it before discovering Mass Effect and have since gone through and played those three as well.
Wood I love that you took Bob’s “this is..” as an invitation to start singing Story of a Girl TWO PODCASTS IN A ROW! To be totally ignored by Bob too 😂
Don't know why Bob has such a hard time admitting the Switch does not have 16,000 games. If you use the filters on the Switch eShop, it shows around 11,000 games and 6,000 DLC packs.
One game set that wasnt talked about that would do very well from the gamecube and Wii era is the two fire emblem games. The series has gotten a lot more popular relative to the original release and it would be a game that people would easily shell out full price for because the original games to get both is 600+ dollars today
51:00 I feel like I'm the only guy that loved Origami King. To be fair, it was my first Paper Mario Game. After Origami King, I did go back to TTYD to see what the hype was about. Don't get me wrong, the game is great as well, but Origami King has a place in my heart. The wheel battling system did not bother me in the slightest. The atmosphere, creativity, and characters of Origami King just captured my heart
A little correction , the Simpsons hit and run remake did not get a DMCA cause it never got released or will get released cause its just done for fun. it was especially not "immediately DMCA'd" because it was a project that was on-going for a year and had a consistent release of videos. the creator knows its copyrighted and will continue to remake other games. its just a fun hobby.
I am so happy Wood that you mentioned the Beaten Kaitos series. I loved it on GameCube and have pre ordered it for switch. I am also waiting patiently for the suikoden remakes
I think genshin isn’t on the switch because of the gacha mechanics. The only gacha game I found was guardian tales (idk if that’s exactly the name) and the only trading card game I could find was Yu-go-oh master duel so I think their must be some rule regarding gambling since even Nintendos own tcg Pokémon which just got a new online client isn’t on switch.
There are (according to switch eShop) 10,971 switch available games on digital. Which doesn't count the mising games unavailable (Jump Force, etc.) Or physical release exclusive or the Japanese only releases
It’d be cool if the current switch games had dynamic anti aliasing and if they were compatible with the switch 2 you could get rid of the jagged edges on the more powerful hardware
slight correction: sonic adventure 1 actually had chao gardens first. Then later appearing in sonic advance as a micro sim and sonic adventure 2 fleshed out and expanded on the ideas that was in adventure 1. Feel free to slightly correct me if im slightly wrong on those details.
The Chao garden was in both Sonic Adventure games, it was much more thoroughly implemented, in the second game, as it added Good and Evil chaos, based on which character(s) you interacted with the Chaoes.
I would be very happy if they brought these to switch (Not locked behind online service) : • Fire Emblem Fates (with upgraded graphics. And preferably a pack including all three choices: Birthright,Conquest, Revelations.) • Fire Emblem Awakening (with upgraded graphics) • Fire Emblem Echoes Shadows of Valentia • Animal Crossing Population Growing • The Legend of Zelda Four Swords • The Elder Scrolls Morrowind (but not online version) • The Elder Scrolls Elsweyr (but not online version)
15:03 So Nintendo stated they have no plans for TotK DLC. They might announce something Zelda at "The Game Awards". Would not be the first time for them to do so. They just could drop the digital versions at the show and physical later.
My guess is Game Freak wants to add a Pokemon Channel on NSO for all games (maybe coming with next system). Either way, it'll be behind a subscription service b/c it's way more profitable to rent pokemon games to people forever.
I really want to see _Mario Party 10, Nintendo Land_ and _Yoshi's Woolly World_ to come to either the Nintendo Switch and/or the direct successor video game system to the Nintendo Switch as enhanced ports.
I'm glad I'm not the only one that taps the button when the fish is pulling the line. 🤣 This is a really great cozy game but I get overwhelmed with having so many quests available. Question: When do we get the wings?
Two of my favorite Wii games that deserve a Switch release: Muramasa: The Demon Blade and Rhythm Heaven Fever. Just any Rhythm Heaven entry would be awesome, especially with rhythm games gaining in popularity these days. As far as Muramasa goes, it's such a beautiful game that only ever got a re-release on PSVITA 10 YEARS AGO. Such an underrated banger of a game.
I would seriously love HD remasters or remakes of Lost Kingdoms 1 & 2. It's been over 2 decades since each of them were released. Would love to see Katia & Tara in HD or 4k in today's modern hardware fr 😩😌 And more lore + locations in Argwyll
The podcast is way better like this.......without skoot constantly yelling and interrupting every single time the hosts start to have a conversation............
Off the top of my head: Dragon Quest 10 offline and Dragon Quest Heroes w/ English, a Pokemon collection, Power Stone collection and a Capcom vs collection.
It hasn't happened yet but for me Twighlight Princess is a game which must come to the Nintendo Switch along with the original Luigi's Mansion. The fact they are not yet on the Switch is just criminal.
The Chao Garden was in 1 and 2. The one in Sonic Adventure 2 was better. The Sonic Advance had a Chao Garden too, and you could transfer chaos between Sonic Adventure 2 and Sonic Advance. I don't know if the later Sonic Advance games had it.
MGS Snake Eater, Twisted Metal 4 & Black, DiRT RALLY (2015), Ghost Recon Wildlands, Need for Speed HEAT, GTA V, MGS V, God of War (2018), and Red Dead Redemption 2........ect........
Starfox Adventures was what I wanted a Zelda game to be on Gamecube, not that toon Link nonsense. I was more excited for that game than I was for Wind Waker, though that still ended up being a pretty fun Zelda game. I still have my Gamecube copy of Starfox Adventures, but it would be great to have it in HD on Switch. I never quite finished it.

It was originally on PlayStation, but I would love to see Kingsley’s Adventure on the switch; not a remake, just a port with maybe an option for updated controls
Maybe a bit late to the comment party, but Sonic Adventure 2 Battle on the Gamecube connected to Sonic Advance on the GBA via a link cable and had it's own mobile Chao Garden so you could take your Chaos with you and play with them like the VMU, but with obviously better graphics.
Unironically would love a collection of New Super Mario Bros, NSMBW, NSMB2, and NSMBU for $60. I'd pay gladly pay $15, or even $20 for each game, I just want all 2D Marios on Switch.
In all honesty, I have an oxp2 a few anbernics a miyoo mini / mini + and what not. The switch for me has the perfect form factor of being small enough to be a handheld and being big enough to be a cool handheld. The steam deck and the oxp2 are a lot chunkier and heavier to me.
The Nintendo switch needs scarface, the godfather, tenchu z, marc eckos contents under pressure., xmen legends2 nfs underground. And there is so much more.
A "Nier Replicant" port please. They already did "Nier Automata" , which was insane. Porting the first "Nier", specifically the new version that came out back in 2021, would be pretty nice.

You got no videos #wulffdendad I dig son #2 videos though 😢

I loved this episode. Plus I second the comments below in that i could watch you two talk for hours and about literally anything hahaha
There are some XBox360 games I'd love to see ported to Switch, primarily the Fable trilogy, Eternal Sonata, Blue Dragon, and Lost Odessey. I could see Viva Piñata doing well on the Switch, too.

Wood I love that you took Bob’s “this is..” as an invitation to start singing Story of a Girl TWO PODCASTS IN A ROW! To be totally ignored by Bob too 😂
I’ll pick up Twilight Princess for sure. Last time I played that was back on the Wii.
Simpson time trials are the cause of my anxiety 😂
Please god 😂 have you seen the ‘remake’ ‘can’t ever come’ ‘but still made it’

So happy y’all nerding out about naraka😊
They did remake the first Mass Effect with 2 and 3's combat system for the Legendary Trilogy Collection. Check it out.
Legendary edition of mas effect did correct a lot of things in the first game bringing it to in line with 2 and 3

Proud Lost Kingdoms player since day one. Ridiculous that no one knows it exists

I loved the picture for this video made me excited for the possibility of these games.
The game i want the most ported to switch is Xenoblade Chronicles X
I like these ones better when its only Wood and Bob
“Why not top it off with a couple cherries before going out in a blaze of glory?”

A little correction , the Simpsons hit and run remake did not get a DMCA cause it never got released or will get released cause its just done for fun. it was especially not "immediately DMCA'd" because it was a project that was on-going for a year and had a consistent release of videos. the creator knows its copyrighted and will continue to remake other games. its just a fun hobby.

i would like to see persona Q1 and Q2 from the 3DS come to the Nintendo switch
I do believe the switch has a 10-year lifespan due to the deal Nvidia Nintendo made which was for 10 years
I think genshin isn’t on the switch because of the gacha mechanics. Hey I loved BDSP it was good. It was also my first time playing that generation.
My dream port for the switch was always Batman Arkham Knight, but I also thought it would be maybe $20 and not a part of a $60 collection lmao
Let me tell you a thing or two about the brilliance of the Dreamcast 😎
They need to release destiny one story and destiny 2 story in a single player campaign version that’s offline playable.
“No Samurai-like Nintendo game they could put in Naraka Bladepoint”
Me screaming at my phone: THE MYSTERIOUS MURASAME CASTLE
I would be very happy if they brought these to switch (Not locked behind online service) :

Both Adventure games has the Chao Garden, SA2 Chao Garden is the one you're thinking of.
I really want to see _Mario Party 10, Nintendo Land_ and _Yoshi's Woolly World_ to come to either the Nintendo Switch and/or the direct successor video game system to the Nintendo Switch as enhanced ports.

That setup is such a vibe.
Everyone always refers to sonic adventure 2 and the chao garden. But there is a chao garden in the first one too!
Sonic Advanced 2 with Chao Garden was my fave game as a kid
I really like you guys together on this - been watching you both individually for a while.
I would seriously love HD remasters or remakes of Lost Kingdoms 1 & 2. It's been over 2 decades since each of them were released.
Would love to see Katia & Tara in HD or 4k in today's modern hardware fr 😩😌
And more lore + locations in Argwyll
13:00 i believe it was Paladins. free to play and cross save as well
OG Resident Evil 2 & 3 NEED to be ported!
1:07:30 that's how I feel about The Adventures of Cookie & Cream
Super Paper Mario was on Wii
The podcast is way better like this.......without skoot constantly yelling and interrupting every single time the hosts start to have a conversation............
I really just want to see F-Zero GX ported, only the greatest racing game of all time!
Off the top of my head: Dragon Quest 10 offline and Dragon Quest Heroes w/ English, a Pokemon collection, Power Stone collection and a Capcom vs collection.

Yup, This is how I played it. Don't think any of the sequel Sonic advance games had it at all. (the 3rd game has a Chao in the menu but that's it)
I’m so sad I waited so long to check out this podcast. You’re killing it
I would love a “Red Steal 3”, I lived the second iteration. But imma need it on the Switch 2.
MGS Snake Eater, Twisted Metal 4 & Black, DiRT RALLY (2015), Ghost Recon Wildlands, Need for Speed HEAT, GTA V, MGS V, God of War (2018), and Red Dead Redemption 2........ect........
Starfox zero's controls were awesome when you got used to them, though i do think the gamepad controls should have been optional.
All I want is Mario Galaxy 2, Wind Waker and the GBA Pokemon Games.
ZombiU was similar to Starfox with the gamepad and they managed to change the controls for other consoles. At least ZombiU sort of made more sense with having it. The only time I found the gamepad useful was when they just used it as a map, like with Wind Waker.
most reasons why games arent being ported to switch: porting isn't actually just easy. its work.
We need a rerelase of Billy Hatcher and the Giant egg. I would also love Star Fox Assault. I have SF Assault still, but I never got Billy Hatcher but people would say it was cool.
I agree on the Sonic Adventure games port would be amazing. Pokemon 25th aniversary collection of the older games would be cool. Or just port them to play.
Also Conkers would be cool. My buddy always talks about it, but I never did.
Glad you guys mentioned genshin.
I still want Wing Commander from SNES. It's like the very core of games like No Man's Sky.

It was the We Are The World BTS you’re talking about. MJ and Huey were funny and Bob ;Dylan looked miserable and Cyndi Lauper was hysterical
I pulled out my gameboy advance a couple years ago and thought as an adult that I could finally get through some of the later stages and NOPE 😂😂😂
WIND WAKER AND TWILIGHT PRINCESS FOR ME, I'd also like the first Luigis mansion since they're bringing the 2nd. Roblox too. All 3 Golden Sun games.

They already did "Nier Automata" , which was insane.
Porting the first "Nier", specifically the new version that came out back in 2021, would be pretty nice.
Battle Clash and the "Super Scope" from the SNES that could be made using the joycons in a holder like for the switch sports game
_The Mysterious Murasame Castle_ is Nintendo’s samurai IP.
