I’ll bet it was cold at night , but a couple of wee goldies and and you wouldn’t feel it till the middle of the night . Brilliant! Tarbet is lovely - i stopped over there for a night on one of my camping adventures and shame on the litter loots on the islands Donny. Hope they see your video and realise there's no need to litter our beautiful country.
I got a couple of new champing chairs last week graham..easter campers justt abandoned them and they were brand new ..so sometimes I benefit from the litter louts ..but not often :-D
A great start to the season Donny & a lovely depiction of sea kayaking too, a great activity. Don't forget to pack your mackerel feathers in future, along with a disposable BBQ.

Can you do a TH-cam video for safety at sea please, including clothing, life jackets, PLB1, VHF SRC and the wealth of knowledge you have acquired over the years. Thank you for such beautiful and entertaining videos. I took your advice and bought a boarding ladder as I'm getting on a bit and that was a very good idea.
That sounds a great idea CMDR .. ..until I say Im not qualified to make such a video. I don’t even have a life jacket nowadays as I use buoyancy aids instead, and am happy to do so as Im a reasonable swimmer. So saying ..when the sea warms a bit ..Im happy to do a video on my “Self Rescue” techniques. Most kayakers do self rescue practise, most dinghy sailors do it too. Very few inflatable boat owners do..in fact those that I have asked have all said they have never tried. Its a totally different thing explaining how to do something , then have to do it in an emergency situation. Example a lot of people can get their foot up to the AV plate on their OB and get in that way. When I try it..my legs are not supple enough to bend up to that height, so I have to use another method. If I had never tried.. I would have been in trouble thinking I could use the AV plate. I will also happily show the results of wearing the different clothes that I choose to wear as I have already done that. I guess what Im trying to say is the only real way to learn ..is practice your own self rescues.. find out what happens if you fall in wearing your normal boating gear ..etc ..etc. and that will be the message in the video when I make it.
