suggestion: for your Take Profit try looking left for the previous Pivot Point and use that instead. You can still do a partial Take Profit at 1:2 then let it run to the previous pivot point.
@@MehrdadFX put your tp at the last high. you can close out of some of your position at 2r if you want to be safe and leave the rest to trail to the previous high.
I think you missed the first trade because the silver bullet is best executed(correct me if I am wrong kindly) in this time range(10:00 to 11:00 am NY Session). I can automatically see the formation during that session that you took a loss. I think, the judas swing takes place from 9:45 to somewhere past 10:00 am taking out the buy stops @ 9:10. The MSS/displacement occurs @ the 1.08860 level and an FVG is given at that point(using the candle body and ignoring the long wick)..... Again when we consider the wick a second MSS is given at the candle wick at 1.08800 and another FVG is given... both openings have a 3R reward... Thank you.

Hello, Thanks for this, can you clear couple of things - Last video it was body colour, this time u used wick and some trades, u didn't use correct fractol break.
In this video, you mentioned a structure video, but I can't seem to locate which one you were referring to. Please post the title of that video, because I would like to watch it. Thanks!
Always best to backtest without seeing the chart. Other wise you can get biases and enter trades that don't quite fit your rules or leave trades that may do as you have a rough idea of the results. And at 23:10, if its close like that, take it as a loss. Worst case scenario is slightly lowers expected return, in real trading, it may or may not have triggered, but its already accounted in your expectations of ROI over 100 trades. Other than that, good video, informative, and explained relatively well. I'm using a different strategy at the moment, but really curious about the ICT stuff. Seems to work and is really robotic which is ideal and time is limited to a few hours. The strategy I use can literally be from 8 to 5 GMT and still have no trade opportunity. Some days there are 2 or 3 entries though so evens out I guess.

About the only thing to add is, if your challenge has a "consistency rule" saying that no single day can be more than 40%. Take note of that number and don't make more than 40% in any given day. For example 1200 max day for a 50K challenge with TopStep. Unless of course you ///WANT/// to have to make more money than your 3K target, for no good reason.
Hi Garland, I love the videos and the strategy. Over the past month I've programmed it into an EA and unfortunately it doesn't appear to be a profitable strategy. Do you have a video regarding choch ? i feel like this is the only thing that confuses me since it doesnt seem really mechanical, because sometimes u take the neareast h/l that broke structure, otherwise..not
Amazing content and very eudcational. I'm a little confused though - I feel like every video you drop about the Judas Swing strategy, your zone times are different. Just to confirm, you're trading the Asian range breakout in the London session, right?
Great video and effort in backtesting every day. Love it. However, 23 days is already a month. The market is close on weekend. 😅A nyway, great video. Thanks bro!
on Friday the 28th trade if you had stuck to your rule of 1pipbelow the low you would of got stopped out, im guessing you knew it came down 2pips below already
Thanks for sharing! Have you also backtested outside the killzone window and it doesn't work well? (btw, accounting for spread for buy is applied to the entry and not to stop loss)
I learnt about fractal highs and lows from Ethan, i will never be ungrateful because what he taught me has changed the way i look at highs and lows. Am i the only one who thinks the first trade would have been a winner in this video? If we re examine where break of structure occurred? Thanks for the free education Ethan, Jah bless!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Can you break down the change of character? I'm getting hung up on when you say that theres a change of character and then it breaks...What is it breaking? I understand that it sweeps either the high or the low, but after that I'm a little lost because I'm not sure if Im to take a buy or a sell
Hey Garland, great showing of the JS Strategy...I had not traded yet but will be back testing for quite a period to get it right. However, the trade of April 26, I do not understand how you got an entry considering after the impulsive move up and retracement, there was no higher high. Thing is I do not see how you got the CHOCH to initiate your entry...Can you please comment on that? This has kept me puzzled and unsure on this one. Thanks much
I have some execution problems while trading live. Do you enter market buy/sell or limit? My orders don't get filled sometimes on limit even when price is directly at my order. Market buy makes things even worth and more difficult to hit 2-3 R because of the bad entry. The spread is very high for some pairs making things even more annoying on the 1m. SL gets triggered miles away sometimes. Bigger stop loss means 2-3R get reached later so higher chance trade fails. Some tips?
For me i used 5M timeframe instead of 1M, MSS determined by williams fractals with 3 periods in settings (tradingview), only taking MSS that leaves behind an FVG, you keep taking trades instead of only one, it prevents a lot of losses during continuation after sweep, i backested it for a year from june 2022 and there was only one losing month out of 12
Hey bro. I have noticed that the FVG's that form after the displacement are more valid. The SL will be wider but you're more likely not to miss moves. Congratulations on the 400k🔥🔥🔥 Edit 24:20 no Choc it was a equal high (invalid trade) correct me if I'm wrong, still learning this stuff.
@@elishapfute4365 Yes I pointed that out on the edit. If we stick to this model it will eventually be refined with less losses. The FVG after the displacement was a big aha moment for me. They hit the majority of the times even though it might be at a slight premium.
I've been enjoying this strategy - Thanks Garland. What's your take on trading this strategy during NFP, FOMC & CPI? Personally, I stay away from the charts on those days.
i have a question: in trade that you placed in 10:13, why you not chose the first fvg ( that is closer to LL ) and chose second fvg that is in premium zone also ?
Brilliant video, please keep them coming and we do appreciate your hard work. Quick question, how can you apply this SPY? Seen as the market starts at 9.30 EST. My first thought were to look at futures but I wanted your option. Thanks in Advance
There are free SMC indicators that draw ChoCh/BoS/FVG for you in realtime so you catch it faster (add alerts etc.) Just disable the other stuff it's way easier than drawing it out every time.
Guys, I am doing it in the month of September of 2023 and I see it is working, is just not a lucky thing The guy did it in March of that year. It seems to be working just fine, you will just not have a trade every day but it is a high-probability trade setup. Test it on your own and see.
I saw your Trading Nut interview and traded (MES) the next day, live win. This week has been riddled with High impact news but Monday, Wednesday and today would have been winners with higher than 1:2RR. Thank you for sharing your strategies. The ICT tribe is very grateful. 🤓📈📉💰 EDIT: I used 8:30 NY as the sweep time with the days mentioned.
I know there’s a strategy for the PM session 3-4PM , could you back test the same strategy in that session as well? Or should you ONLY use this in the AM session?
yes same i would really like to know if that works for the PM session as i remmber ICT mentioned that there is a PM session sweep for the highs and lows.
Loving your content mate! Out of curiosity which strategy do you use yourself? You cover a lot of different ones in your videos, do you primarily use say the Judas Swing on the 1min timeframe?
Love your videos bro! My back testing results for April and May have shown great results but live trading the last couple of weeks have been terrible. The market is not doing what the Judas Swing strategy is supposed to be doing. How have you found the last couple of weeks?
I'm so confused. Doesn't ICT say the Asia range is between 7pm to Midnight, then the judas swing is from the midnight opening price to where ever liquidity is swept creating the high of low of the day..?
Yes I had the same question. Yes, I’m using New York time and ICT says Asia is 1900-0000. Even Ethan says 0000-0800 is London session but then says it’s the Asian range. The strategy looks great but this looks like it’s a strategy using the sweep of previous session (London’s) highs and lows.
yea. Well 2-5am (UTC-4) is the London Killzone and within that time, the high or low of the day is usually formed. Also NY is usually a continuation, unless London didn’t do much, then NY will form the high or low of the day (says ICT). It’s just basic 2022 model being applied in this video but I guess it’s up to each individual trader to choose what ranges they want to consider for liquidity. I’ve been trading the NY 8:30 open recently and I’ve been getting setups every day. I guess it’s actually not much different than what he’s doing except I’m also using the 8:30 opening price as a manipulation level, and I have Asia (7pm-00:00), and London (2am-5am) mapped out on the charts, and if London formed the high of the day (between 2-5am), which you should be able to identify by NY open, you want to wait for NY to gravitate up into a short term premium for buyside liquidity then shift back into the sell program (MSS with Displacement), and with a FVG to sell short from once price retraces into it. You’ll notice if price draws above an old high to take liquidity before going lower, it will also often be drawing above the 8:30 opening price. If nothing is clear or obvious from 8:30 open, I lock and load the Silver Bullet and get ready for 10-11am 🔥

Hey Ethan, at 10:00 you also take the FVG above EQ, while there is one below. Why this one different then the other? Thanks for all your effort put int he videos and spreading the knowledge! ❤
Hi Ethan, I have subscribed to your channel but cannot find the link to the Blue guardian TH-cam channel you mentioned at timestamp 2.19. Thank you for sending the link to blue guardian youtube channel, as I would like to participate in the competition.
This was absolutely awesome Ethan, thank you so much for this. Would you be able to do this also with your other strategies? Keep up your work. God bless you👍
Do you have a video regarding choch ? i feel like this is the only thing that confuses me since it doesnt seem really mechanical, because sometimes u take the neareast h/l that broke structure, otherwise..not
So once you have triggered the trade you let it run regardless of the 11:00 cut off time?
Amazing content and very eudcational.
I'm a little confused though - I feel like every video you drop about the Judas Swing strategy, your zone times are different. Just to confirm, you're trading the Asian range breakout in the London session, right?
This was very helpful Garland, thank you!
Great video and effort in backtesting every day. Love it. However, 23 days is already a month. The market is close on weekend. 😅A
nyway, great video. Thanks bro!
on Friday the 28th trade if you had stuck to your rule of 1pipbelow the low you would of got stopped out, im guessing you knew it came down 2pips below already
Congrat on the 400k,I will need a full training pdf on ICT.
Thanks for sharing! Have you also backtested outside the killzone window and it doesn't work well?
(btw, accounting for spread for buy is applied to the entry and not to stop loss)
Could you show a way to trade the Asian session for those of us who live in Asia/Oceana please?
I learnt about fractal highs and lows from Ethan, i will never be ungrateful because what he taught me has changed the way i look at highs and lows. Am i the only one who thinks the first trade would have been a winner in this video? If we re examine where break of structure occurred? Thanks for the free education Ethan, Jah bless!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks man!
Can you break down the change of character? I'm getting hung up on when you say that theres a change of character and then it breaks...What is it breaking? I understand that it sweeps either the high or the low, but after that I'm a little lost because I'm not sure if Im to take a buy or a sell
Good day mate. Will it be possible to watch yr strategy with a white background please.
Thanks much
I just finished watching your video, and I wanted to thank you for uploading it.
You're very welcome!
Some tips?
if you want 0 spreads you can open live account with a broker that supports razor type accounts
For me i used 5M timeframe instead of 1M, MSS determined by williams fractals with 3 periods in settings (tradingview), only taking MSS that leaves behind an FVG, you keep taking trades instead of only one, it prevents a lot of losses during continuation after sweep, i backested it for a year from june 2022 and there was only one losing month out of 12
thanks , which pair you would suggest me to trade in @@yassinemorev9109
Just subbed. This video is veey good. I hope you can do more backtest for this strategy
Hey bro. I have noticed that the FVG's that form after the displacement are more valid. The SL will be wider but you're more likely not to miss moves.
Congratulations on the 400k🔥🔥🔥
Edit 24:20 no Choc it was a equal high (invalid trade) correct me if I'm wrong, still learning this stuff.
I also noticed there was no choch there
@@elishapfute4365 Yes I pointed that out on the edit. If we stick to this model it will eventually be refined with less losses.
The FVG after the displacement was a big aha moment for me. They hit the majority of the times even though it might be at a slight premium.
FVGs after a displacement are the ONLY valid ones anyway
Can you guys explain what it mean ? the FVG's that form after the displacement are more valid.
In your very first example it looks like there’s a fractal Choc that you didn’t acknowledge that would have been a winner
I've been enjoying this strategy - Thanks Garland. What's your take on trading this strategy during NFP, FOMC & CPI? Personally, I stay away from the charts on those days.
You say you will not take the 1st one because it’s not in discount but the 2nd isn’t as well and you take it bro…
I had some good wins with this concept last week. Nice!
23:03 took out by two pips. Sl was 20 pips and but u had added 1.9 pips extra not 1 pips this time. But strategy still solid
i have a question: in trade that you placed in 10:13, why you not chose the first fvg ( that is closer to LL ) and chose second fvg that is in premium zone also ?
i was looking for same answer, he says choose extremity and he choose first fvg on that trade
Brilliant video, please keep them coming and we do appreciate your hard work. Quick question, how can you apply this SPY? Seen as the market starts at 9.30 EST. My first thought were to look at futures but I wanted your option. Thanks in Advance
I traded MES the other day with it and it worked out perfectly.
There are free SMC indicators that draw ChoCh/BoS/FVG for you in realtime so you catch it faster (add alerts etc.) Just disable the other stuff it's way easier than drawing it out every time.
Which one do you think works best?
there are, but they don't function the same way as ICT tells, they take highs/lows based off williams fractals
Guys, I am doing it in the month of September of 2023 and I see it is working, is just not a lucky thing The guy did it in March of that year. It seems to be working just fine, you will just not have a trade every day but it is a high-probability trade setup. Test it on your own and see.
It works well. Just let your odds play out with the right risk reward
@@garland.trader can I enter a trade right at the closing candle of the CHOCH ot I have to go by the FVG after the CHOCH?
Hope i can win the 200k challenge and apply the Judas swing on the challenge account, compliments of Garland!
How was it
Is that giveaway still going on for subsribing to you and blue guardian, def could use a good prop firm right about now!
Hi Champ on which pair it works the best? are there a strategy like this one for London session?
Played out today us30 and nas100😊
Took a sell on us30?
Does this strategy work for Futures also?
Hi man, Im from the UK, you seem to referring to asian session as london session or am I wrong? London session starts at 05:00 NY time no ?
You can trade this strat on the 5M and 15M too right?
I saw your Trading Nut interview and traded (MES) the next day, live win. This week has been riddled with High impact news but Monday, Wednesday and today would have been winners with higher than 1:2RR. Thank you for sharing your strategies. The ICT tribe is very grateful. 🤓📈📉💰 EDIT: I used 8:30 NY as the sweep time with the days mentioned.
Amazing! Good work💪
This was freaking amazing!!! Thx for this video.
I subscribed to both channels Blue Guardian and yours(Garland Trader)
I know there’s a strategy for the PM session 3-4PM , could you back test the same strategy in that session as well? Or should you ONLY use this in the AM session?
yes same i would really like to know if that works for the PM session as i remmber ICT mentioned that there is a PM session sweep for the highs and lows.
That long you took at 10:30 for you example was in a premium :)
what link to blueguardian... you tube or website?
your entry is on the FVG, but how will you know if there is an FGV if the next candle is not yet closed?
Loving your content mate!
Out of curiosity which strategy do you use yourself? You cover a lot of different ones in your videos, do you primarily use say the Judas Swing on the 1min timeframe?
Hi Jacob, I use a bit of a combo of them. We cover a lot of it in the community / course. I use the 2 box strategy a lot too
Can anyone tell me if you’re trading the ES mini, he said to start trading from 930 to 11 but do you check the highs and low until 830 or 930?
Does this work only on the 1 min or it can work with the 5 and 15 minutes as well?
great strategy, love the rule based aproach, 2 r today
Love your videos. Can you please make the background white?
very godd job i like backtest i can do it at same time to see if i'm right, need more video backtest like this
So I'm trading ES futures I need to mark 00:00-9:30? Take entry between 9:30-11?
Love your videos bro! My back testing results for April and May have shown great results but live trading the last couple of weeks have been terrible. The market is not doing what the Judas Swing strategy is supposed to be doing. How have you found the last couple of weeks?
Take into consideration the higher time frame narrative too. I will be doing a video on it soon
I dont see consistancy in your FVG choice . one time it 's in Premium, one time in Discount. and one time in the middle
please eplain why
is there a timing for the afternoon session aswell? i usually am able to only trade the afternoon session because of my work.
sounds exactly like silver bullet rules!
subscribed both the channells lets wait for the results
Do ES. Will the killzone be 9:30-12 noon?
Hi Garland. how do we subscribe to Blue Guardian and participate the competition?
Thanks in advance!
Is there a Judas swing model for crypto?
