Having volume profile bars on the side of the chart make talking about liquidity a lot more easy. Even if it’s just forex tick volume, it still shows which price levels were relatively attractive.
The problem I have with ICT & SMC concepts is that it is banking on retail liquidity sweeps as the main objective of the banks and hedge funds to make money. We are NOT that important in the markets people! The biggest players in the market are actually the banks not us retail, ..our liquidity is marginal and does not move the markets in any substantial way. Also, the banks are trading on Quant Algo's (70-80% of all trading is this) that are designed by teams of extremely able and even PHd level think tanks, they are not focused so much on small money/retail as ICT and simialr would like you to think. We/retail are not that important. They are focused on other aspects of the markets as they have been for over 100 years, and can now control the markets, because they can. The big players create the Supply and Demand, NOT us retailers.
@danforex7288 I agree, but I can simplify it: just backtest ICT/SMC and you'll see just how stupid and worthless it is. I've backtested 100s of strategies over the past 3 years and ICT was one of the worst. "Fair Value Gaps" in particular are completely useless, despite being overhyped. Pivot Points used to be the king of useless popular concepts. On a positive note, the most useful concept I've ever found is Divergences. Specifically divergences using Cumulative Delta or MACD.
spot on... all youtubers or most of them are convinced that whales and big banks are focused on our miserable little liquidity 😁 sure they are chasing my $20 SL
Excellent video, the way you describe the way one can get paid monthly is fantastic. The risk management gives a sense of security and makes it easier to enter trades. I'm really excited to follow and change my life.
What trading platform do you use? I've had trouble changing the time frame on mine. I can't have one time frame, and the other 3 charts in a different time frame.
but......your chart shows a trend up......what if the stock goes down....not up. You have a loss. This is after the chart has played out. What if it keeps going down?? Long down trend. Just watched one stock today that did exactly that. 5K blocks and larger buying, then selling. What would normally have been an up stock at 50% retracement kept going down. And it's still not going up.
So it took you 23 minutes to explain something easy! What is EASY in this all video, it may be is easy for you because you master it, but this is nothing easy, it takes lots of Knowledge. Beside the EASY part, great Informatio. Thank you for sharing
My friend, you and your mentor that you are so fanatic for( ICT ) you are all retail traders so how can you teach to get inside of retail traders mind ? :)))))))))
Great video! Also i have question. Lets say for example 4h making higher highs & higher lows (uptrend) your focus buying on 15m. But price will retrace on 4h so if you looking for buys during that periode of retracment you will get manny losing trades. So how you know when to start looking for buys on 15m?
Trying to predict the market constantly or consistently will not work. 1 day you will be right the next day you will be wrong, this leads to a see saw in equity curve which leads to frustration and going on tilt. A better solution is being smarter with your position sizing and leverage and trading off daily/weekly key levels. Currency markets are better for this as they are always trying to return to an average price, which gives you an edge. Trading indices are very unpredictable as the price is always solely a new price.
You didn't have any confirmation to enter trade. In fact, only one thing, the price took liquidation. On this basis alone, one does not enter the trade. You should have waited for a retest or FVG.
can you please advise the trading windows for London &. New York I know you said it in the video just trying to relate back to Aussie time Is it 8am -10 am London Time and 9-11 am NY time also would that TF apply to FX as well or just the US500 cheers and thanks for the Video looking forward to get of 30sec and 1min TF lol
No. But real traders adapt their strategies to market conditions and to their changing lifestyle. I'd also personally like to know how many thousands of dollars you've made this month trading? Is it more than 45,000? If so then I'll gladly listen to you. In the likelihood that it's not, I'd highly suggest you reassases your attitude and try to be less cynical to information that is given for free on TH-cam. I literally sell no courses. All I do is trade.
Just post one video of your p and l and let's so what type of real trader you are. The youtube algorithm puts videos in front of you it thinks you'll like. So clearly you've been watching lots of videos on trading ideas. If you were a "real" trader why would that be the case? Thought you didn't change things every week. So sad you can't just watch the video or scroll past.
Everyone needs more than their salary to be financial stable. The best thing to do with your money is to invest it rightly, because money left for saving always end up used with no returns.

As a beginner, it's essential for you to have a guardian to keep you accountable. I'm guided by Amanda Katherine Nakitare
Don't rush in rather seek expertise like Amanda Katherine. Growing a port-folio is complex
I racked up so much losses trying it on my own. Amanda really saved me from myself
Finding someone truly skillful is hard. I'm happy to see that a lot of people found Amanda
Same here. Amanda managing myportfolio was my best decision. Gotten more than half a million since

ICT/SMC is not more profitable than many other time tested strategies. The key is just playing the probabilities and sticking to ONE strategy.
Very cool. I learned a few things. Thank you
Glad it was helpful!
Thanks for sharing, going to start backtesting! Have you backtested on other indices or fx pairs? If so what minimum SL do you recommend?
EURUSD, S&P, DAX are the main pairs that work with this man! Minimum SL for S&P that I use is 10 pips.
