How to call the Command Prompt before entering in Windows 11, 10 and in Windows 8.1 - four methods.
For example, I forgot my Windows 10 login password. Now, in order to reset my password, I need to run the command line….

Bro I already tried methods 1 and 4; in each case, it requires a system password. Please tell me another method, except for the methods where any bootable device like a flash drive or DVD is required.
When i do the 4th one... Even then it wants ne to enter password... Is if its the first one...
When I do it it just sends me back to step one but able to get passed the login issue and then just loads

they did not, i just used this method in the morning, on the latest windows 11 security update and i was able to give admin on a user account witouth any password, by replacing sticky keys with a cmd window on system32 while in recovery

Microsoft has dropped the ball... needing a password to access command prompt. Ridiculous....and laptop manufacturers stop making laptops with DVD drives...crazy...if I had a DVD drive this problem could've been solved within 2mins

Maybe your Windows is running a Microsoft account.

@@ipMalik i cant try any other methods. I open my pc and the first thing that happens is a blue screen telling me to select an account
but i cant remember my password, i cant get out of the select account screen without a password.

Done several methods but still telling to enter password before it shows d command prompt
My laptop is already in Automatic Repair mode and does not accept password to proceed with Repair options like Command Prompt. . . I can't bypass the password by pressing "continue" option. (Windows challenge - HP Laptop).
I can access Windows via my phone with a password but can't on my Laptop while in recovery mode.

Ms password and windows password is different. You need to type your windows password when typed it during setting up

Most likely you did something wrong...
1. Method number one works mainly in Windows 11; it does not always work in Windows 10 or 8.1... and this depends on the updates received from Microsoft.
2. To open cmd using methods 2 and 3, you need not just a USB flash drive, but a bootable Windows USB flash drive, with which you can install Windows on your PC.
@@ipMalik but, that’s the problem I don’t have the bootable disk, but, I purchased a ‘usb red key password reset’ off eBay and that’s asking for a disk as well as I follow the steps. So, they’ve said to email them about any problems and I have yet to do that. If I had a password disk made I wouldn’t need any of these things mentioned.

But without such a disk you will not be able to do anything - accept this as a fact.
The only thing you can do without a disk in your situation is reset your PC to factory settings and lose all personal data.

@@ipMalik Nope...I can't even get to the command prompt. I hit F12 and the command prompt pops up on the right side of my screen and it goes to like it will open but it won't. I just have a black screen with that loading circle. My bootable CD flash drive won't automatically open either. This happened after my computer completely locked and I couldn't get out of it. I had to do a hard shut down. When I did that and turned my computer back on, I get the Dell picture, then the windows symbol and nothing else. I have hard shut down my computer so many times. That diagnostic repair screen won't load for anything, So no, that Windows CMD prompt won't 100% open.

@@nvd2ceb4 The thing is that different devices have different BIOS, probably that's why F12 doesn't work for you to load the Boot Menu.
