- Hermitcraft season 9 episode 20! We create my dream Minecraft Redstone auto-loading jukebox and custom opening and closing announcements for my theme park Mega Hermitcraft base. We also name the park Saarland and meet up with KingRenDog and the other Knights of the square table to discuss the rebellion brewing in Hermitcraft.

I absolutely loved the music, it reminded me of the music from Super Mario Galaxy lol. The announcements were absolutely incredible and I can’t wait to see what the theme park looks like when it’s finished!

Could be seen as betrayal to the crown tho so maybe get Ren's approval first. Scarland is gorgeous n i cannot wait to see what else u come up with. For the minecart Problem:
Ask DocM for a Portal loader to keep the base loaded all the time. Entitys still have a habit of vanishing when going into unloaded chunks.
They can duel first and then fix the problem :D
yeah for sure its an unloading problem wouldnt be a problem to built a chunk loader that is on when the storage system is working and turns of when not in use then it wouldnt generate any lag scar should definitely ask the hivemind

if this keeps up, the guys won't be able to call Hermitcraft a "vanilla" server. I mean it already isn't due to the armorstands mod and alterable items mods they're using. Maybe add a mod where you can craft a chunk loader item? The Galacticraft mod already has something like that. (hmm... the hermits having access to galacticraft would be interesting... I still think a modded hermitcraft, where everybody chooses one mod (within reason) to add to the server would make for interesting gameplay)
He might make you join the perimeter as a double agent, but at least your base will be sorted...

That was adorable, seeing Bdubs nervously watch his old boss from Season 6 negotiate with his new boss here in Season 9, and he knows very well how stubborn both are.

I think Scar has that stroke of insanity that's characteristic of geniuses. That theme park is reaching proportions of epic that will soon exceed my vocabulary.
Scar actually seems to be the MOST loyal, comparatively to the rest of his fellow knights.

He's the most bloodthirsty, which he uses to buy favour with the king, but he also doesn't want to sell his pies or transform his shop into a Gigapie shop, he cheekily sat on the thrown, twice, didn't wear the diamond glasses, etc. He's an agent of mischievous chaos. He's on the court for his own amusement 😉

But its such a cheff's kiss moment to see scar buying out the Entity with emeralds as Grian says he will lose it if anyone spends them at his shop.
He doesn't have to _like_ them to use them. Also, he's getting rid of them and getting something better in return. I'd go on a "Royal Emerald" shopping spree, too, right after placing a "Royal Emeralds not accepted here. Diamonds only." sign at my shop(s).

You know, hearing the name, ScarLand made me want to cry, because I remember the original Scarland that place that inspired me to even play Minecraft and hearing that name brought it all back it’s insane how much you can remember by hearing one name that world will always have a place in my heart thank you scar

Honestly, I'm shocked that Ren and BDubs had an extended conversation with Scar and it didn't end with Scar talking his way into being the new king.

The difference between Disney and Scar:
Disney tries to be inclusive and Scar just is.
Most people would stop and look for a resolution after losing 24 hopper minecarts, but not Scar. He waits until he's lost 24 shulker boxes (648) hopper minecarts. I also like how he found some of them in the chests and was like "This is a problem for another day."
But he didn’t lose 24 shulker boxes of hopper minecarts, he lost 24 double chests worth of hopper minecarts.

As a Disney World cast member this feels very authentic to magic kingdom. I love the music choice, I honestly thought at first it was actually park music. Absolutely amazing work scar.

It might be an urban legend but I’ve heard that DisneyWorld releases cats during the night so they can catch rats and mice, so having cats in Scarland as well makes a lot of sense

@@_kaleido That's very imaginative, but that's probably not a thing. Disneyland is an outside park so any small wildlife is gonna be left to its own devices. It'd be a fruitless task trying to keep mice "out." And then what would they do with the cats? Spend the rest of the night trying to find them all? That is a pretty interesting thought.

Scar you should build one of those super fancy carousels for the theme park! Having it be jellie themed would be adorable too! :)
So many Hermits have recently been voicing their feature wishes for vanilla Minecraft, it’s at the point where maybe the Hermits should just team up with modders and release their own Hermit Tweaks version of the game.
Honestly, after eleven years of neglecting these issues, it’s clear Mojang isn’t going to deliver on these wishes anytime soon.
I would do so much for that mod- I would remove croptopia for it if needed (my fav mod)
Scar you should add some lights under/inside the tree and bushes to make it more visible, as you can't really see the area surrounding the roads and it seems a little "dead" and empty. And also add some lights hidden under the statue just like most statues in real life with spotlights to make it eye catching even during the night!
With the Music and shaders it just made the hole park come to life and was so inspiring to see it

Scar please become a double agent with the soup resistant or N.A.R. Maybe start by collecting the emeralds and then burning them for Grians sanity. We all know Ren is a terrible king after all and, if we had a nickel for ever time Ren has become king, we'd have 2 nickels, which isn't a lot but weird its happened twice.
I’m pretty sure he likes the others in the kings court (for example Cub is probably the Hermit he knows best and BDubs has past political positions with the mayoral race), and he usually plays characters like a evil noble guardian, so I feel like he might stay.
Watching you walk through Scar Land made me feel there's only one thing missing now: crowds. Would it be possible to have some villagers roaming about to make the park feel used & alive?
I think that every week there should be a redstone event called a parade where the lights go up and a giant crowd goes through the city

Scar, Scarland is going to turn out to be genuinely amazing, and I can't wait to see how it turns out at the end of the season. I only have one issue, once it is all said and done, I have no idea how you're ever going to top it! After all these years, you finally have all of the decorative blocks and redstone functionality to bring your dreams to a reality this season, and I am so excited to watch it all happen!

Hi Scar!! 👋 You might be able to use a piston to push the moss block into the hole (then replace that one and the azalea)
A moss block drops as an item when a piston pushes it.

The custom music disks made me so emotional. It made me feel like I was a little kid again walking into disney for the first time ever. This build is turning out amazing and I cannot wait to see how it develops. Thank you for bringing some magic into my everyday life

Re: the storage. With mine, it was both that a filter was missing and that they were staying in item form for longer than 5 mins. It doesn’t matter that they’re moving, they’ll still despawn.
You can use a dolphin to fix this
If that’s the problem, maybe he could catch them and re-dispense them halfway or something?
Make sure the minecarts are actually disappearing and not just being pushed into another block or something. They may still be somewhere if it's not some kind of entity wipe situation.
Scarland has been blowing our mind since you've started building it this season! The announcement with the upbeat fantasy music is quite amazing, and the Park at night is such a beautiful sight! Hoping there will be Scarland merch this season, The Swaggon hoodie is a comfort item and wear it almost everynight. Your solo surival Scarland you built a huge rollarcoaster in, is a playlist we often revisit for motivation & inspiration building creatively in survival. Seeing how you approach the game with detailed terraforming around your builds gave us a whole new appreciation to survival Minecraft (from a creative mode player's perspective) SCARRED for life! Thank you for being a light for this community, your laugh and mischief can bring a smile to anyone. Hope you are doing well & hello Jellie!

I think the minecart hoppers are missing because exactly at 1:53 there's a packed ice travel line that's missing a water off to the right

Petition to make the park a horror park during the night after-hours whenever there is a full moon.
The disc will end distorted and the lights should be minimized so that mobs can spawn. Redstone walls should rise from all exits, blocking it all and making it an escape room situation. 🤔
He still has a LOT of work with the normal theme park. Its a cool idea, but it adds soooo much work. Also, how do you detect a full moon with redstone?

Talk with Tango about having syncing up the music discs. I bet the experience he got with Decked Out 1, he could come up with a way that the music discs all start at the same time all over the entire park!

Scar pls make doc or tango take a look at the sorting system and solve it for you, it seems like a pretty advanced issue which could require chunk loaders.
I can wait to see extra additions to Scarland such as rides and mini games.

Scar!!! I just remembered something before you try anything to fix that hole grab a book and make double sure that all armor stands in the statue are locked. Not saying Cleo forgot but have noticed some of my locked ones came unlock this weekend. Best to check 1st before making a bigger mess.😊

Like others are saying I think asking Doc for some help with the storage would be a good idea. He’s made a few chunk loaders already this season and having one or two of those seems like the perfect solution to your disappearing hopper minecarts. Also Doc had some ideas he mentioned a couple videos ago regarding your future roller coasters and potentially incorporating the perimeter/his awesome flag build into a ride, could also be a great opportunity to discuss all that with him! Another great video as always Scar! Looking forward to all the magic you’re going to create with this theme park; Main Street is already one of the most beautifully done builds I’ve ever seen in my 10 years of being a fan of this game.
