Thanks for this - been “mucking around” all my life with still photo cameras, cine cameras and - in recent decades - video and digital cameras and now have this DJI drone - this video should greatly assist me in “getting it up in the air” - and back down when I unbox it the next day or so.
I was exactly the same for many years, having a drone really changed my life and prospective of using a camera. I hope I can help you with further videos. If you want to see videos that you thunk may help you feel free to let me know. Thank you 👍
Nice little piece here on getting started. I have been flying for a long time but the Mini 3 Pro is new and I have made the conscious decision to get into this new tech carefully and am currently paying attention to the basics. Your presentation here is very good in the way you show brand new pilots what to anticipate from the moment they first take the new drone outside.
Thank you I really appreciate that. I find to many rushed videos on TH-cam and I'm trying to take an slower approach and help people gain there new confidence in their Mini 3 / Pro. Especially when it comes to the basics. Again thank you.
@@MYJOURNEYINFILM If you want to think about more content, I may have another possibility for you. I would think that even some of the more experienced flyers have this issue and that issue being when the drone leaves the immediate proximity. These DJI drones have a long range and the mini drones especially get swallowed up in the vastness pretty quickly as they fly away. The only thing the flyer has, really and truly, is the RC to maintain their bearings and situational awareness (i.e. where the drone is, what the flight attitude is, surrounding landscape). Maybe a presentation on the key elements of controlling and actually using the drone effectively when the line of sight may be compromised. Personally I think the improvements DJI has made along the line of three way sensors that actually work and the steadfast ability the drone has to return to the home point even when there is a complete loss of signal from the RC are really good and something I am going to play with early on until I have a good grasp of it. A prominent question in my mind is how the downward sensor works in terms of what happens during flight when the drone gets to a height where the sensor intervenes. I like the thought of protected low flight but do not yet know how and how much the downward sensor can be relied upon.
First of all, sorry for the late reply. That is an interesting point. Which I will look into further into where the sensor intervenes. I'd be happy to do a video on this, and of course, I will give you a mention 👍
Thank you Arthur always appreciated. I hope you have a great first flight. I'm editing my next video so that will be released soon. I hope you enjoy that one too. If there's anything you'd like to see on the channel let me know 👍
Why thank you Drue feedback is always appreciated. I hope I can help you along the way. If there's anything you'd like to see in future videos do let me know. Again thank you 👍
