Would you prefer these over the kulilang r77f?
Yes! Detachable blade, multiple rpms, usb c charging makes it an easy choice over the r77f in my opinion. Both are great though.

Do they get hot fast?
Not at all. And I have tried with multiple blades. Goes a pretty long time before it gets hot.
