Great interview Jason! Sucks Peter won’t tour with trixter anymore. I’m glad I saw them many times live before. Their first trixter album is a Masterpiece!
Pete, you chose to be a present father, that’s beautiful and necessary. Mad respect for you. I remember watching you guys in concert when I was 17, loved it. I’m 51 now, I have been listening to old school music and loving it. I have seen a few videos that are going around here on TH-cam, recent Trixter performances. I enjoy them. I only recently learned that you have your own music, going to check them out. ❤️
Pete is such a class act. My jaw dropped when he said he was 58, the guy doesn't look 40. Love the New song, hope to hear more from a voice i grew up listening to. Cheers
Jason, thank you another excellent interview with Peter Loran. He seems like a very humble person. I’ve seen music videos for Trixter on MTV Classic, but I had no idea that the band is from my home state of NJ. What’s even cooler is when I looked up the band’s tour history I saw that Trixter performed a show in August of 1990 in Atco, 15 minutes from where I live. Unfortunately, I was only three years old at the time. I like the band’s attire, especially the Metallica shirt. Thanks to your interview I’m going to have listen to all of Trixter’s albums.
Great interview, thanks for doing this Jason. Pete mentions getting on stage with Trixter at a show in Arizona earlier this year. How is this not on TH-cam?!
Ccccchina Club. I lived there. And still follow Steve and PJ. Wonderful people inside and out. I followed Trixter from 16 to now 52 years old. ❤❤ The best.
Enjoyed this interview. First saw Trixter with Stryper at the Palomino club in Charlotte, NC. Always remained a fan of their music. Can I just add I LOVE Pete’s laugh. Still looks great but I do miss hearing his voice Live.
Great interview - new music is great, Pete! 🖤🤘Still love Trixter, and love and respect what Pete, PJ, Steve & Gus do individually, and like any of us Trixter fans, we hope one day, there is growth, and the stars may align 🙏🖤🤘
I seriously think Pete could create his own TH-cam channel and show him and his family and what not around his property on a daily basis or as he feels fit. I do think it will take off and will surprise Pete. 🤘🏼🙏🏼
Great interview! Im digging Pete's new music. Also really hoping we'll get to hear more from Trixter in the future too. The last two albums those guys did were - imo - better even than the debut and Hear. Awesome stuff. Two of my favourite Hard Rock releases of the 00's. It would be a shame for it to end there so anticlimactically.
I agree Human Era album has so many great songs and New Audio Machine has some good songs as well all those guys are so talented together they make phenomenal music.
going to high school in oregon, i enjoyed trixter. when hear came out, i had no idea it had even come out. i came across it by sheer luck. great record.
As a fan, I always wondered what happened with the band. There was no info anywhere that explained what was going on. This show really shed some light. Will check into the new songs too. Thanks.
for some reason, I'm not getting notifications when you go live...... and I have all of the buttons set properly... I do eventually see the videos and rewatch them, but I have more fun on the lives.....
Interesting to hear this. Bummer Pete doesn't want to/have the time to tour w/Trixter anymore but have to respect that. Just saw Steve and PJ (PJ sings a couple songs) out on their Trixter tour in West Bend (WI) this past Saturday...just a local opener and then them...and they were fantastic
New Jersey has some of the greatest bands ever. The Misfits, Danzig, The Nerve Agents, Bruce Springsteen, Bon Jovi, Skid Row, Overkill. These were the ones that matter. The region is a "hot bed" of entertainers. Yes, I knew about Trixter. I knew like one song they did. I'm not a huge fan. No offence to people who dig them. You can do you with Trixter. I'll do me and what is me. Thank you, Jason G.. Always a great show!
S*** he's a great guitar player anybody who can fill in for Phil Collen of Def Leppard and Vivian Campbell learn the songs in the 24-hour notice notice and kill it isn't a s*** guitarist
Great interview. Steve, PJ and Pete always come across as very cool guys in interviews. Much respect for wanting to be home with his family instead of slugging it out on the road. Not sure if he ever mentioned it but I wonder what Pete has been doing for a living all of these years?? It’s not cheap having a family! There is no way he’s living off Trixter royalties from way back!!
Great guy really but wasnt impressed with Trixter at all. They opened for Scorpions in 1991 with also Great White i think Trixter had like 20 minutes and when they jumped on the stage with the arena light still bright white many thought they were the soundcheck crew or something having fun. Great White was beyond fantastic. Scorpions still in their prime. Thank you Jason. From Kelowna in the beautiful British Colombia,Canada
Todd Kerns as Skid Row's lead singer. 😂 Well, it would be better than that wrinkled up has been Granny Douchebach but would fall way short from the bar Erik Gronwall set.
Had a listen to Around Again. Great song!.
Trixter was always great live. Glad to see Pete back making some music.
I saw them in 91. They stunk live.
Cant be mad a person that wants to be there for the family he created love the 80s/90s memories thanks for all the music❤

@@WasteSomeTimewithJasonGreen I chuckled immediately when I saw the flannel, haha. Nice touch!
Great interview Pete is so down to earth. Amazing personality and voice. Im excited to see what else he releases.
Thanks, I’m glad you liked this interview

Thanks Sean, glad you enjoyed it! 1st record has some really catchy Songs
Really fun chat Jason! Thank you!
Great interview but too short! Pete's new song is terrific! I've been a Trixter fan since day one! 🥁
Great interview but agree too short hopefully more to come can’t wait to hear Pete’s song with Gus!!!
Great Interview Jason! I first heard Trixter back in the 80's on 89.5 WSOU Seton Hall Radio Station
Great interview, thanks for doing this Jason. Pete mentions getting on stage with Trixter at a show in Arizona earlier this year. How is this not on TH-cam?!

The bad hair groupie brigade were the only ones who ever took those cheesedicks seriously

Another interesting and informative interview. Great job Jason.

Saw Trixter open for Kiss/Great White in Cleveland back in 92. Good show.
Great tour. I saw them in st Paul that year as well. My first rock concert.
I'm still a Trixter fan and love Pete Lorans new music in 2024 ❤
It’s a damn shame because Trixter was a great band and has some really cool albums out there. I would love to see these guys live
for some reason, I'm not getting notifications when you go live...... and I have all of the buttons set properly... I do eventually see the videos and rewatch them, but I have more fun on the lives.....
i think he should do it.. kids are grown now. take them with you. You only live once !!

Pat Paradise Rock Stations need to add this tune!
I love Trixter! ❤👍🏻✌🏻🙂
When will this sentence ever end, and my new life begin.
Always victim

People give Steve Brown a lot of shit but he's a good guitar player.
He is a great guitar player and a talented musician!!
So underrated. No one talks about his playing but it's always been solid. Great licks, great riffs great melodic solos.
He's a killer player, didn't love him trash talking Gus's ability on drums.
S*** he's a great guitar player anybody who can fill in for Phil Collen of Def Leppard and Vivian Campbell learn the songs in the 24-hour notice notice and kill it isn't a s*** guitarist
No they don't!

Todd Kerns would be amazing in Skid Row.
Better than Mike Fallon?!?
Hi✋, but Northern West Coast was Culturally Prime for “Grunge” in late 80’s?🥁🎼
Great guy really but wasnt impressed with Trixter at all. They opened for Scorpions in 1991 with also Great White i think Trixter had like 20 minutes and when they jumped on the stage with the arena light still bright white many thought they were the soundcheck crew or something having fun.

ROOSTER can do no wrong always THE MAN !!
Women thought Kenny Rogers was a Hunk with his Gray Hair.
I wonder what ever happened to another NJ band called American Angel?
