Very thorough review and comparison! Does a great job of showing that there is a difference between yoyos, but skills and technique make it possible to do great tricks with any yoyo!!

You're giving me inspiration to take up yoyoing. I dabbled with it 10-12 years ago but didn't get too far with it. I didn't even know there's such a thing as non-responsive yoyos. Lately, I felt inspired to try to get into it again, but felt a bit discouraged since I'm 37 years old and essentially a complete beginner. I came across your channel as I was browsing yoyo-related videos and noticed that you had taken up yoyoing only about 2 years ago. More importantly, the level of yoyoing you've reached now looks very impressive.

If you want to pick it up again I can highly recommend the Shooting Star from this video. It really is my favorite plastic and it's not expensive.
Best time to do anything was 20 years ago, second best is today :) yotricks has a really good playlist of yoyo tutorials if you haven't found them yet

Good review man. Thanks for doing this. Trying to decide to splurge on a titanic with the rainbow finish. The matte was the thing I was wondering about. The OG was stickier than glue.

Very good comaparison, I'm looking for a plastic. Have you used a Speedaholic XX? How does it compare to the Shooting Star?
I have not yet. The next video is on plastics and I'll hopefully be able to compare the two.
Next video will come in a week or two probably.
I currently have a Speedaholic in my posession, the difference is extremely minimal.
@@lxemergency thanks! I got a Speedaholic XX and Fulvia Plastic. One for finger spins and the other one for everything else. Fulvia definitely more powerful and more presence on string.
@@randompineapple1373 Agree on both counts. Got me a Fulvia as well. Planning on doing the next Plastic yoyo comparison this week or early next week.
