I gave it a few weeks to see if this new format works. The previous format with Ste and Joel with Rio was unique. This content better saved for midweek content. Post game week, the raw reaction and banter made the show standout. Genuine feedback. Reconsider going back to the old format.
Channels lost its identity. Went from feeling like a few mates chopping it up talking about football in the pub, to just another bland pod that feels like it’s gearing towards a tv show.

If the fans are not confused about Rashford then why is all the ex players and media confused about it ? It’s really not confusing. Has he even been that much in form ? Apart from scoring 3 goals he has not done much at all. It’s rotation and competition in the LW, and both Rashford and Garnacho have scored 3 goals yet Garnacho has more assists and just offers more. It’s a no brained from me, Garnacho LW and Anad RW 🤷♂️
Why do we give Marcus the benefit of the doubt, always talking as though he’s the victim? Acting like he hasn’t been our starting winger and main goal threat throughout the worst period in the club’s modern history? All the opportunities in the world and he hasn’t produced enough. He’s not good enough to occupy the position and status that he has in the club and he’s never going to accept scaling back his role so in my opinion we need to move on from him and sell while he’s still got decent market value

I think there’s was nothing wrong with Rashford being rotated. I did expect him to start tbh. But garnacho deserves a chance to start and has earned it as much as Rashford. He also scored 2 goals last week and scored against Southampton and has been better so far this season.
Rio people including myself loved the Monday show because of its authenticity and blend of characters. The new format now doesn’t offer anything different to the numerous podcast we have to choose from. Probably been advised by some company that has no idea about your audience that this is the way to grow your channel. I’ll still watch because I’ve been watching for years.

No doubt Haaland is the currently greatest finisher in football. But put him on the wing, let him have more ball, and let's see if he can replicate what Ronaldo did. Or see if Haaland can score the same amount of goals as he currently does in a world class team behind him, but in a lesser team that's struggling.
