Wood is expensive, it is more than that a cord, fuel , wood, electricity, are all expensive, I burn wood, pack it every may to dry, 4 cords as I live alone.

At $2000 a load of wood, times 5 loads total (delivered over the winter), that is $10k. Plus a few thousand in groceries, a cheque towards special glasses…. That almost 15k value as far as I saw.

Eeven 6k is a lot. I have s lot of doctor bills too since 25 years and was in coma and have a lung disease. And I am alone with no one and was always alone. I have to pay everything alone. And there are people who are even worse than me. But we don’t have something in our region. It’s very nice to nice. Doesn’t matter if it’s 1k or 10k. Even only the glasses would be a blessing for them
Wish we had a secret Santa. In the UK sadly no one does it.. I would would have been asking secret Santa to get my old car on the road... To allow me to collect my son from his special needs school. His dream stopped because I have necrosi necrosis of the pancreas only 40% left... He has muscular dystrophy with child dementia .. Maybe one day someone here will be as blessed and to the secret Santa.your amazing

I was so relieved when Nate went back to say that was one of FIVE loads because I was really thinking firewood was incredibly expensive in Idaho if that one load was $2000 of wood! I assume it was “fresh cut” but from already seasoned wood so that they can safely burn it this year. That’s a wonderful gift from Secret Santa and I hope the new glasses aid in a speedier recovery.

What an amazing gift for this family. I know when our daughter in Australia had to by wood for the heating it was so expense to heat the house in the freezing climate. This huge amount of wood will take away the worry of keeping warm over the freezing winter in Idaho. The money for his special glasses and food vouchers will make a huge difference and help take away some of the worries and allow them to have a wonderful Christmas. THANK GOD! I could not wrap my head around that small trailer load of "fresh" cut firewood costing $2000. One trailer load would have been a nice gift, 5 trailer loads of cordwood is life changing. Hope Nate was wrong about the "fresh" cut part too. Fresh cut wood is juicy and doesn't burn.

I had a good friend that was very independent and he had a job at Toys R Us and he suddenly had a stroke 6 years ago and he was on the floor for 2 days and then one morning his his weekly cleaner for the condo came over and had a key and they couldn't get a hold of him by phone so then they checked where he was at and he was still on the floor of his bedroom and of course he had to go to the bathroom and everything and he was still alive but he lost the use of his left side almost because of the stroke and he could barely swallow because of the sensation in his throat he eventually had to go to a old folks home where they took care of him but he gave up eventually doing anything in 2021 and then just a few weeks after I saw him he passed away in his sleep we had as remembrances this year and there was a lot of people that said how nice he was and didn't have a mean bone in his body he suffered from childhood with brain tumors and problems learning but he was a smart person and he taught me a lot about life we knew each other for 34 years and it was really sad when he was gone I still think about him everyday
That is so sad to be on the floor like that for 2 days but he obviously had a good friend in you. Thank you for sharing your remembrance story about him.

My wife had 6 little stokes and it caused her eyes to be off where she saw double also. She tried the glasses and they were ok but I found an eye doctor in Oklahoma City that would do surgery and she can see like before the strokes,so thankful I found him for her.
I myself heat our house with firewood and that present is the best anyone who lives that lifestyle could ever receive. A huge burden has been lifted off of this family's shoulders. God Bless you secret Santa!

I know a little about how hard is is when the rug is swept out from under your feet, and you go from being how you always were, to suddenly being this sick person who can't do most (if any,) of the thing you used to be able to do and *want* to be able to do (not to mention what you *think* you should be able to do.) It must be even harder as a hard working head of a household, 16 yr ar his job, welder. Really really tough. Not to mention our eye sight is one of the greatest blessings we can have. I do hope this man goes on to make if not a full recovery, then as good as. Getting his appetite back will help alot with his strength so now they don't need to worry about buying lots of yummy food to entice his senses. ..I couldn't believe it when Nate ran back to tell them it wasnt just this load of firewood but FIVE. Haha! That is sooooooo amazing!! To not have ro worry about heating the home for the entire winter is an absolute blessing and God send. SS is the absolute salt of this earth. Much love to the EIN team and the awesome guy who cut the wood for them and to himself and all the elves for unloading it all too. Total random side note.. I LOVE this couples home! It looks so nice and homely and cosy. 😍

THANK GOD! I could not wrap my head around that small trailer load of "fresh" cut firewood costing $2000. One trailer load would have been a nice gift, 5 trailer loads of cordwood is life changing. Hope Nate was wrong about the "fresh" cut part too. Fresh cut wood is juicy and doesn't burn.

She has had her car for 17 yrs n it keeps breaking down on her. Seats are broken n taped up n so stained inside. She will be getting S.S. next yr n she takes care of her husband that can't do much n takes him to all his Dr. Appointments. They live only on his S.S. n it gets really hard. All I want is for my sister to have a car n my mom for her car to be payed off. My Dad passed away 2 yrs ago n her income was cut like 2,000 so ya she struggles. One day before I leave this world all i care for is my mom n sister.

Not a chance. I`m a retired guy and let me tell you I have seen a lot but every one of these videos makes my eyes leak.

I had a good friend that was very independent and he had a job at Toys R Us and he suddenly had a stroke 6 years ago and he was on the floor for 2 days and then one morning his his weekly cleaner for the condo came over and had a key and they couldn't get a hold of him by phone so then they checked where he was at and he was still on the floor of his bedroom and of course he had to go to the bathroom and everything and he was still alive but he lost the use of his left side almost because of the stroke and he could barely swallow because of the sensation in his throat he eventually had to go to a old folks home where they took care of him but he gave up eventually doing anything in 2021 and then just a few weeks after I saw him he passed away in his sleep we had as remembrances this year and there was a lot of people that said how nice he was and didn't have a mean bone in his body he suffered from childhood with brain tumors and problems learning but he was a smart person and he taught me a lot about life we knew each other for 34 years and it was really sad when he was gone I still think about him everyday

Two thoughts bring tears to my eyes with every video; my joy is refilled with each surprised smile and I am also humbled and challenged to make good happen in the world, just like Nate's family and crew and Secret Santa.

My wife had 6 little stokes and it caused her eyes to be off where she saw double also. She tried the glasses and they were ok but I found an eye doctor in Oklahoma City that would do surgery and she can see like before the strokes,so thankful I found him for her.
I myself heat our house with firewood and that present is the best anyone who lives that lifestyle could ever receive. A huge burden has been lifted off of this family's shoulders. God Bless you secret Santa!

I know a little about how hard is is when the rug is swept out from under your feet, and you go from being how you always were, to suddenly being this sick person who can't do most (if any,) of the thing you used to be able to do and *want* to be able to do (not to mention what you *think* you should be able to do.) It must be even harder as a hard working head of a household, 16 yr ar his job, welder. Really really tough. Not to mention our eye sight is one of the greatest blessings we can have.
I do hope this man goes on to make if not a full recovery, then as good as. Getting his appetite back will help alot with his strength so now they don't need to worry about buying lots of yummy food to entice his senses.
..I couldn't believe it when Nate ran back to tell them it wasnt just this load of firewood but FIVE. Haha! That is sooooooo amazing!! To not have ro worry about heating the home for the entire winter is an absolute blessing and God send.
SS is the absolute salt of this earth.
